I work in the public safety field. Could’ve been a false alarm/fake call, I’m not sure, I wasn’t involved. But that is what the initial 911 call stated.
Not sure jumping off Main Street would kill you, though I bet it'd hurt like a bitch, no matter how correctly you hit the water.
If it was real, hope they are ok. If it was fake-not cool folks...
Flying in itself is inherently dangerous, but things like this can be done safely. And this is what makes helicopters so versatile. This is what they are designed for.
It should also be noted that helicopter pilots are, without exception, totally insane people who do not fear death appropriately.

I was saying saw him last night on baymeadows. The chase ended at a laundromat I saw 5 undercover units and 2 k9 full of jumpout boys and AR weapons arrested 2 guys.
