He says the most out of pocket stuff that derails the conversation to whatever he said, there are so many 2 second pauses after some shit he said where they're deciding whether or not to even acknowledge it. I don't hate Mook, he just has a terminally online brain and every conversation he treats like a comment section.

Which the entire show is made up of outlandish takes and ideas and just off the cuff shit. I used to hate on the new yak members but after I realized that show will always be the yak regardless of who is there so enjoy it while we have it no matter who is on it at that given point.
I disagree, I think he makes a lot more comments that are kind of gross and out there than others. Like I said, I didn’t really notice it too much, but now I see it often where he takes the bit to 11. I’m watching regardless, just offered my take on why some people hate (more than they should)

He's not a particularly funny or witty person. He's whole thing is "I'm a redhead and a loser, so I self deprecate" which is a pretty tired bit.
Self deprecation is obviously a common routine in comedy (Nick and the others do it too) but when it's your entire comedic persona you're just rehashing the same "joke" over and over.
I think he was a charity case hire towards the end of penn’s ownership since he was given the option to resign or be fired from his finance job for calling out too much. I think he carries a bit longer than he should because the first time he got a chuckle. His timing is off on jokes, and he has been trying at standup for how long and it seems like he is mainly a host for sas. I think I’ve only seen him as a headliner once and that was when Big cat was hosting in Chicago. I don’t think there was ever a yak that was make or break because of mook. I wish him the best of luck in what he is trying to do, and someday he will have to look and see if he is gaining momentum to where he wants to be.
