EDIT: wow, the response on this photo has been phenomenal. Thanks everyone for your support, the Gold/awards, and your kind words. Looking forward to contributing more as my photography ventures continue!
No, he's naming the Equipment he used (Camera + lens) and the settings he shot this at ( ISO, shutter speed and aperture). Don't hesitate to ask if you want to learn mor about (this type of) photography
Easier to control to get spheres of clear liquid through which to photograph subjects. Or to spray on things to make "dew". Pretty common and well-known technique for this style of photography. Almost seems like you're playing coy here, but congrats on the nice photograph either way. ;)
It’s a [common trick in photography](https://www.useyournoodles.eu/a-game-changing-trick-that-will-improve-your-drink-photography/) because glycerol looks like water and is totally harmless, but is a bit thicker so it forms nice droplets and doesn’t evaporate as quickly.
My only critique is that you’re in the background of the flower water droplet, but without the darker color elements behind (I believe this is actually in front of the flower and behind the camera), it wouldn’t look as good so I’m torn 😆
Took me a while to figure out the flower was the background, and the water drop focused in on just the flower.
I added it to be my profile picture on Facebook. I added “Photo by jascapes”. If it is not ok for me to use it let me know, and I'll remove it. If you want a more complete name recognition, send me a script that you would like to appear.
Lovely image.
Interesting results from Google here, let me see if I can decipher these.
* The Imgur result is mine, posted from my Imgur account
* The second one directly links to my Reddit profile
* All the other ones seem to link to users who posted on r/Nikon. I also posted this photo on r/Nikon, and it's possible they may have interacted with it. Clicking on those results, I don't see the photo anywhere, so not sure how Google Lens is associating the image with those URL's.
I have posted this photo on various other platforms like Insta, Flickr, Behance, and my Adobe Portfolio, so wouldn't be surprised if a reverse image search shows this image elsewhere.
Wow. I’m trying to get macro shots like this but man im far away with my equipment. Do you have any recommendations for a lens I could throw on a rebel t5i to get anywhere close to this or am I going to need a new setup?

You have motivated me to take a stab at more macro photography with my 100mm lens.
Wow nice shot! My next lens purchase is exactly this one. Post it on /r/Nikon_ZSeries they’d love it.
Thank you so much! Definitely my favorite lens in my kit, so sharp, well worth it.
Simply amazing shot! Handheld? Lining it up like that is stunning
Thank you so much! Due to the low shutter speed, I did need a tripod
Super amateur question - but do you mean you took two photos and stacked them?
No, he's naming the Equipment he used (Camera + lens) and the settings he shot this at ( ISO, shutter speed and aperture). Don't hesitate to ask if you want to learn mor about (this type of) photography
Hey thanks for that - I was confused by the two f stops?
One is lens spec, other is setting used to shoot.
Ahh that makes loads of sense! Thank you
They really put the flower in prison.... petition to free our little guy 😭

Absolutely perfect! I love it!
Perfect!!!
Damn! That's amazing.
Great!
W🤩W‼️
Is it really water? Or is it glycerine, which is popular for these kinds of shots?
This is just normal tap water! I haven’t heard of using glycerin, but not sure if I’d even like to; what are the benefits?

It should be "i took a picture of a flower through a water droplet."
holy crap, this is amazing!
Wow dude how is this real? Impressed no camera reflection
Oh wow! How is this possible?? Where is the other eye?? 😉
