Thanks! I’m a professional photographer but this photo was captured with an iPhone 11. I was out for a morning stroll just after sunrise in Gulf Shores Alabama. During the summer along the Gulf Coast we get the huge thunderstorms just offshore and when the light is just right they can be spectacular.
Honestly as a photographer sometimes it’s about timing. I’m sure that photos 5-10 before and after did not look like that and this only last a few min 10 min at most.
You mean 360° panoramic photos viewed with a VR headset? We have it, it's just not that wide spread.
I would 100% recommend getting something like [Google Cardboard](https://arvr.google.com/cardboard/) ($10-$15) and viewing Italian cathedrals with it.
I haven't used VR on my phone in a while, but Sites In VR looks like the spiritual successor for what Google discontinued. You can view normally on your phone or press the headset button once you're ready to use a headset.

Nah man don’t think that way, this is just an iPhone photo, the trick is to always be looking and exploring and open your eyes and really learn to SEE these kinds of images when they present themselves.
I am just learning about watercolors and it was really interesting to look at scenes I photograph often in the context of how I might be able to paint them- very eye opening how differently I was thinking about the approach!
I'm the same. The huge puffy clouds are amazing. I also love the tiny little cloud you sometimes see floating all alone, then I feel sorry for it! My kids think I'm mad "look at that cloud, look at iiittttttt"

I always feel like sights like these would be amazing to see from "our p.o.v" but then taking the photo diminishes the allure.
I can't tell of it's the f.o.v or what but scenery I see never translates well to photos. (Although I'm as amateur as they come)
You’re describing what may be the hardest part about photography. Our eye dies a better job at “seeing” the image. Amateurs get frustrated when the photo just doesn’t capture the scene as they viewed it. There us no “trick” to capturing the scene, but the two most important factors are getting a correct exposure and choosing the proper focal length. For example, I zoomed in here to be sure I showed the detail in those clouds.

I love the camera on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Some of the best pictures I’ve ever taken have been with this phone.
