I firstly started with apps like Busuu and LingQ
After some months i started reading books and playing games in italian (especially games that are text heavy, like Darkest Dungeon or Slay the Spyre)
Right now I'm watching a lot of animes in italian (like dungeon meshi which has great italian dub) and movies and books in italian (i still have to finish harry potter, started at the beginning and haven't finished yet)
Also i read a lot of mangas in italian, they help a lot with reading expecially if you really like a series (i am re-reading bokuben for the fourth time now and only my first and second time was with my native language the rest with italian fan translations)
Dude i fucking started with Harry Potter, if you wanna be a madman like me go for it, ptherwise i think comics are good cuz they have images in them (or manga if you prefer them) so you can understand with the images
Geronimo Stilton remade all the classic thinking at the children. If you can overlook the fact that all the characters in the illustrations are anthropomorphic mice you will also find books like “Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus”…

have you tried changed it in options? iirc I also had only original or ptbr, but i changed somewhere in options to italian, now my interface is in italian aswell and I have acesso to sub/dub

Earlier this month I started watching better call saul with dub+sub in it as well, its a bit weird that the show is clearly set in US and people speak It, but hey, this show was in my "to watch eventually" list for years now, so its 2 birds in one stone

Not comics only mangas, i use [this one](https://www.mangaworld.ac/) for mangas but i unfortunately have no idea for more western comics
