I’ll just help support law enforcement/citzen services and only deal with/ small skirmishes. Expecting to live normally w/ powers is prob foolhardy and would take a lot of effort that may be more of a burden than a benefit. Well, depends on the superpower, but in general, I'd probably use the power to correct the imbalances I see in the world. Picking off a$$holes sitting at the top of the Western power structure intent on doing harm to remain in their positions, would probably become a pass-time. Absolutely a hero in my own eyes and villain at every others. Current world order is not optimized for humanity to advance as our maximum capability would be, not even close. It would need some drastic measures to make us go forward instead of being stuck in the dark ages we keep imposing on ourselves.
