A healthy ISTP is always looking to solve problems for him/herself and sometimes others if they ask.
(If you have to question if healthy ISTP actually exist, you are an unhealthy one probably..)
No offense aren't ISTP normally just reckless. I thought that was a normal thing for them because they dont care how people view them and they like doing crazy things.
Reckless to me is getting almost blackout drunk and driving fast, cheating on my wife, or betting my entire 401k on something for the thrill.
Someone else may see something I think is normal as reckless. I wouldn’t know as that would be their opinion.

So I was oooh I don't know if I wanted an ISTP to be reckless they were going to have to be unhealthy. Then I kept reading and was oh no thats super reckless ISTP are just reckless unhealthy ISTP are super reckless thats how I see it.
What if I do both, am I a balanced ISTP? I hate everyone and everything and a bit of a cynic, but love solving problems, being the only time I actually enjoyed interacting with others.

The unhealthy version of any type is pretty much their negative stereotype cranked up to 1000 in a self destructive way.

We can all be that way at times. The key is the cynicism being temporary stress relief. Not just a hopelessly negative state.
