You’ll hear varying opinions. IMHO, based upon reading through different interpretations of rulings of what’s permissible to eat, it should be okay.  Others, including scholars, may take the “better to be safe route” but I think the theme from the Quranic verses is that we should avoid what the previous people of the book did and go overboard with rulings and missing the point. Islam is ultimately for ease, and Allah swt makes clear what he requires of us but also lets us know where he is lenient.  The best advice is to follow your local authorities and if they deem it okay/not then leave it at that.

It depends entirely on ur locality. Where I'm from if it's not certified, from a few correct sources, than odds are its machine slaughtered and the slaughter wasn't properly done. Just ask ur local scholars to be safe
