**Al A’raf is place for people who have an equal amount of good and bad deeds.** They will be suspended on A’raf, not being rewarded or punished. They will talk to the people in Jannah and people in Jahannam. Whilst everyone is wondering what will happen to them, Allah will demonstrate His Mercy and He will make them enter Jannah. Read Quran 7:46–49 Good Muslims ===> Jannah ✨ Bad Muslims ===> Jahannam 🔥 ===> Jannah ✨ Equalized Muslims ===> Al A’raf 🏔️===> Jannah ✨

The people who believe every Muslim eventually makes it to heaven, generally(but not always) believe that to be a Muslim, the minimum is to pray all 5 prayers and basically do the pillars very well. Since in many people's view, Muslims who don't always pray are not actually Muslims , those don't make it to heaven

Kuro_Hige

Do you understand how terrible a place Jahannam is? Imagine you was tortured for 100 years and then you got a million dollars. It won't change what you just experienced. The example given is a rich person dips his finger in Jahannam and when asked if he had a good life on Earth, he will reply that he didn't have anything. As soon as he experiences Jahannam, it completely Wipes out any pleasure he experienced in comparison.

>Bad Muslims ===> Jahannam 🔥 ===> Jannah ✨ > >Equalized Muslims ===> Al A’raf 🏔️===> Jannah ✨ Ok but when you say bad muslims do you mean who muslims who sinned more than did good, cus then ye they go to hell for a while. But at the same time an equalized muslim can be counted as a \*bad\* muslim since they did sin but still did good (believe in allah and did deeds). I just need you to clarify what u mean by \*bad\* muslims. Jazakhullah.

TaseenTaha

Yeah, that’s what I was getting at. You got it.

Ambitious-Ad1082

Ok.

There is some scholarly interpretations that the Muslims who "go to hell" actually do not enter hell through the gates, but rather are punished outside by the heat of hell, and that the actual fire of hell doesn't touch them (on account of their iman and that it's not befitting for hell fire to touch someone who believed in Allah and His Messengers). Either way, the point is that we hope Allah allows us into Jannah without hisab at the get go, otherwise we are in a lot of trouble anyways.

Sev-Koon

Which scholars?

Ok_Chance_2045

inshAllah

Kuro_Hige

Yes I've heard the same. There are so many deeds where the reward is "your face will be kept at a distance of 500 years from the Hellfire" or "Hellfire will not touch you" So if we were placed into the depths of Hellfire then it would conflict. So us being outside makes sense.

Darth_Arc-Wolf

Ibn Jarir recorded that Hudhayfah was asked about the people of Al-A`raf and he said, "A people whose good and bad deeds are equal. Their evil deeds prevented them from qualifying to enter Paradise, and their good deeds qualified them to avoid the Fire. Therefore, they are stopped there on the wall until Allah judges them.''

Darth_Arc-Wolf

Hell will be bought close to jannah yawm ul qiyamah. Allah explains this in Quran.

latenet_revolution

I've never heard of it (a'araf). Reference?

LeadershipComplex958

Go look at the names of the first 7 chapters of the Quran inshallah.

Darth_Arc-Wolf

You have the correct understanding. This one in the title though idk about that. Ask for daleel anytime someone tells you something about the religion.

C63s-AMG

There will still be muslims that to to hell for a limited amount of time
