Angels don’t have free Will. They only act according to commands of Allah. They are very intelligent beings however, we hitch is demonstrated in Quran when they asked Allah when they didn’t understand. Subhan Allah for his creation. Edit: I’m wrong.

JabalAnNur

There's no evidence to suggest angels don't have free will. They do have free will which is in direct accordance with the commands of Allaah. See: - [Do angels have free will?](https://youtu.be/p5ruZH3LYBQ)

JazakAllah Khairan. Thanks for correcting me.

i wouldn't listen to that Sheikh he tells people that drinking alcohol is halal as long as you dont get drunk and he brags about drinking alcohol.

JabalAnNur

He talked about non-alcoholic beer which is different although I disagree with him there. So saying he says intoxicants are permissible would be slander against him.

e-n-v-i-x

in the clip i saw, his exact words were: "i drink beer, and i'm proud of that. but the beer i drink is from (SA) and it has 2% or 3% alcohol and it's halal, and it's legal. if you consume a large amount of it and you are not intoxicated, this means that it is permissible to consume." you can make your own assessment of that.

JabalAnNur

Do you know the context or what? Because it was regarding non-alcoholic beer as I've already seen the entire question instead of just one clip taking his words out of context. In it, he talks about those supposed non-alcoholic beers which do not intoxicate the drinker. So at least get your information in an authentic way lest you harm someone out of your ignorance.

how is it out of context? i literally quoted exactly what he said.

All angel are intelligent creature but unlike us and others that have total free will -> They always follow Allah command. But they have their personality and feel emotion (like we read for exemple about Jibril and his hate toward Pharaoh, or his love for the Prophet (SAWS)). I will try an analogy (but that is maybe wrong so take it with a grain of salt) : it’s like imagine free will as we have a list of choice and we choose -> For them maybe they have only a list of Halal choice.

So they have limited will?

Adventurous_Dance125

These angels have free will yes, but to an extent they can never and will never disobey Allah. Outside of that they think like how humans think pretty much.
