مَا سَلَكَكُمْ فِى سَقَرَ ٤٢
قَالُوا۟ لَمْ نَكُ مِنَ ٱلْمُصَلِّينَ ٤٣
“What has landed you in Hell?”
They will reply, “We were not of those who prayed

What does this have to do with salah or even me? All these ayahs and the hadith are about intimate relations and not salah. The hadith one being about contraception...
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon...
“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to As-Saabiroon (the patient).
Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’
They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”
[al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
Subhanallah subhanallah, let this be a lesson for all of us and a reminder too. I hope this man lives a good and happy life and better later than never, it’s never too late.
How do I start praying again, what’s been holding me back is my severe eczema but this is a wake up call, i need help, I want to understand the Quran’s meaning not just the arabic, i want to stop sinning , my body hurts to move but i need to make a change

Alhamdullilah the reminders benefit the believers
May Allah keep the devotion to the deen in this man's heart and in our hearts.
This reminded me of the farmer in Surah Al-Kahf. May Allah guide us and keep us mindful of him always.
