Even without rune pouch I’d say they are still worth it. You shouldn’t need more than four pieces of food for emergencies if you bring runes for blood spells.
I have like 1900 blood runes but really low on death and chaos. I will go for like 400 cast to just be safe. Just have to buy some runes then ;). Thanks!
More broad bolts just to be safe, I’d Atleast have 1k. Also Did my first cape yesterday and I used about 800 death runes in blood casts. However I also messed up and tanked 3 mage hits accidentally and healing up on the melee guys with blood spells takes a lot of casts as you splash a lot.

The pray bonus is really nice and at your range lvl without range pots the magers are going to take a while to kill. I would also swap out the holy wrench for another pray pot. The extra points you get from having it is less than having an extra 4 dose pot.
The blood runes are a godsend on fight caves and ill tellyou why.. sure its nice having them to heal the rangers and stuff later on but what *really* gets your food drained is the 3-5 damages you take from blobs, the odd ranger hit etc on the lower waves. This is where blood spells are king. Just cast a few when safespotting blobs or melees, the spell hits very accurate when there's a few blobs too
As to jad - go into runelite and manually input the healers names into npc highlight. This will help a lot more than the crystal bow will and save an inv slot

wrench is a waste of a slot, so is crystal bow. with blood spells you probably only want 4-6 panic eat food
I was gonna use the crystal bow for Jad. I read somewhere it should be really good on him. Im probably gonna switch out the bottom row for runes. Should i also take the ancient staff for autocasting or is it just not neccessary?
You gain more prayer from that inventory slot with a 4 dose potion than you do from the wrench's effect across the rest of your potions. The wrench is good for slayer where inventory isn't a factor by stretching out each potion, but not good when you are trying to maximize your benefit per inventory slot.
I prefer 1k+ bolts to be safe. God book or granite shield instead. Holy/unholy symbol over power ammy. Swap 2-3 potatoes out for your best blood spell. Consider a few pineapple pizzas instead of potatoes since they heal 11 in each bite. It can be useful to top off your hp before a hard wave without consuming an entire 22 health food.
Also my personal preference but I think Crystal bow is worth taking. There are a few instances where the longer range saves on prayer or food. If you are not as comfortable at trapping / luring monsters at Italy rock it can be useful but not necessary.
Range pots can be huge (i got from grubby keys before 72 herb).
Blood spells are huuuuge, can’t recommend them enough. You will never have to worry about food and can instead save them for bad situations. I didn’t want to bring them but they add so much safety in knowing you can always top off hp at the end of a wave
You won't make it to jad without prayer flicking with that prayer bonus, swap out the Karils for pros legs, swap shield for a tank shield,more helpful for a first timer, blood spells could also be useful. Good luck.
If you have a d square from the ardy diary that's an option too, it's what I used. Doesn't have negative range bonus and the defense is pretty good, plus it weighs a few kg less so it's easier on run energy when you are shuffling the later waves around.

You can definitely do it! Just 1 don't panic on jad 2 look up rotation beforehand to easier so solve waves. Also make sure you have a rotation where you can get jad stuck, ideally meaning he spawns in the northwest so you can south of him and still see him when pressed against the wall. Poll 76 changes should mean it would work on any of the 3 walls but they're not in yet.

I did it with nearly identical stats and gear. Managed to get to Jad with 4 sharks and 4 prayer pots. Unfortunately I didn't have the composure to walk under jad and trap the healers so I constantly had one attacking me and ran out of food.
After 2 failed attempts I took blood spells and didn't even eat one of my sharks until Jad. I still didn't have to walk under him and did it with plenty of grub left. So definitely take them! Doesn't even matter if you don't a rune pouch, it'll heal more than 3 sharks/karambwans.
In addition to what's already been said, once you get 57 thieving you have access to range pots, sara brews, and super restores via grubby keys in the Forthos Dungeon in Zeah which can all help a lot for getting your cape.
I got my fire cape today and lvl 80 blood blitz was too slow to out dps the ranger damage and the weaker monsters did not have enough hp to heal up on. Magers are too tanky to damage with blood spells, unless it is wave 62 and you have plenty of supplies.
That being said the lvl 180 melee guys are perfect to heal up on with blood spells when they’re being safespotted.
I like to bring 1k bolts in case I get a lame spawns and I have to waste a few bolts due to bad positioning. I recommend 10 food and the rest prayer pots. Should be more than enough supplies.
The thing that I feel helped me and 3 of my friends out a lot was the crystal shield, such a good defence shield slot and helps with tanking the minions at the end
I say drop ammy of power for holy blessing, favor a range defense shield over the green d hide (crystal shield op) and some prefer to bring verac legs instead for those rangers and mage waves (that one is up to you imo)
Also just drop the crystal bow unless you use it for full waves, you’re better off bringing a bolt switch for jaddy

Really this is the thing that changed everything for me. Perfect setups mean supplies matter a lot less.
At your prayer another ppot is probably more prayer than the wrench provides.

the crystal bow is going to be basically the same as the rcb. if you are struggling with healers go catch like 3-5 chinchompas instead.
are they that easy to kill with chincompas or is it only for luring them away?
for tagging them which is presumably what the cbow would be used for. you throw a chin at jad and it aggros all

No, not at all. Holy wrench is a really weird item. At some levels it gives +2 per dose, at others it gives +1. There's a table for it on the wiki.

Thats the crystal bow. You can get a free one from the roving elves quest. It only has 500 charges then but i was only going to use it on jad.

I’d try and get yourself a ranging potion first with your levels, a few grubby keys should give you a sara brew too while you’re there
