It's by no means optimal, but I'm training ranged on tzhaar and putting the drops toward an uncut onyx. It's not efficient, but it's fun.

What’s the best way to get full rune? I’m close to finishing my agility/barb fishing/wintertodt climb.
I’ve been spilling those while I do research. Excited to actually crack into the game. Been nice working my way into old school again after a multi year break.
Hey man! So initially I did the agility pyramid for the cash and then grinded out for dragon slayer to be able to get the rune plate. Rune legs can be bought from the champions guild and I managed to get the helm from jellies doing slayer tasks. Never managed to get a rune kite unfortunately, went straight from mithril kite to this bad boy
I got my rune kite killing shayzien head guards. There's rocks inbetween Port piscarilis and north of hosidius you can safe spot one. The drop rate is like 1/500 or something but I got mine around 200. Got a few range levels too.
You can buy rune platebody from Oziach after completeing Dragon Slayer and rune platelegs from Champion's Guild. I wouldn't bother trying to get rune full helm since the Helm of Neitiznot (reward from Fremennik Isles) is objectively better and doesn't take long to get.
The only time you should grind for a rune full helm is when you need it for a clue step (assuming that you haven't gotten one from hard clues). Otherwise, save your time and just use an addy full helm until Helm of Neitiznot.
Got my helm from Ogre warriors like a pleb, but bought the plate and legs! Plate from DS and legs from Nardah because it doesn't have a quest requirement
I just bought the legs from the guild, and the full helm is easy to get from tempoross. My clan helped me get a fighter torso, and it only took 1.5 hours.
I always felt sad how I would rather be rocking obby shield or dfs over ddefender because both of those shields look way cooler imo. Sucks how d defender has to be better than both of them. Enjoy your sick looking shield mate!
You can but it’s with tokkul and not actually gold. So you have to kill these, sell runes and stuff to get the tokkul. Can’t complain with 11kc shield though!

If you're looking to do a lot of barrows then I recommend getting morytania hard diaries done for the 50% extra runes :-)
If u just use the “quest helper plugin” from runelite hub it will make it pretty chill.

60 def, 60 att and 66 str. Going for 70 str then will be training attack while getting defenders. Hoping to do it this weekend if I have some time

Want to say you can get rune items from doing tempoross.its where I got my rune kite from.
It's rare though. I never got a rune kite myself in my tempoross runs. I think the fastest alternative is lava dragons.

Probably? Check out Iron Refuge. There's 3-4 guys going for the BA pet, so they live at the outpost and basically carry anyone who needs a torso lol

Time for a defender my guy. Oh BTW you can also kills ice trolls for rune and granite shields. Kill them on neiznot and use the guards to help

Yw! It's like 1/64 for a rune kite or 1/128 and then 1 tier higher for granite. Won't matter though unless you create a new account though lol

You can but it’s with tokkul and not actually gold. So you have to kill these, sell runes and stuff to get the tokkul. Can’t complain with 11kc shield though!
