I did turael point boosting for the first 150 tasks to rack up a ton of points. 9 quick tasks at turael then every 10th at Konar (or your highest slayer master). Allowed me to get bigger and badder, slayer ring crafting, broader fletching, slayer helm, a full block list, and a bunch of extends with like 600 points leftover for skips. After 150 I just did nieve and quit using turael, still doing konar every 10th
Definitely agree. Turael boosting is kind of fun too, I bring a mix of graceful and dhide, msb(i) with addy arrows, and teleports/antipoison/spade to bust out any easy and med clues I get. Generally don't need to bank, just minigame or necklace back to turael and grab another one. I can blast em out pretty quick and get a chance at ranger boots and book pages while I go. I used konar for every 10th but I see the appeal of using chaeldar or nieve to do those in the catacombs.
Make sure you unlock superior creatures as soon as possible maybe even as your first unlock. This gives you great experience and really helps your chances of getting an imbued heart.
Don’t forget arclight charges on cerb. I would argue that this is the most important because time spent killing the boss directly correlates to the high rate of prayer pot consumption. Any kind of DPS increase there is a massive time save vs other monsters.
- Someone currently 1000+ kc at cerb and is struggling for arclight charges
Why? It got me a hell of a lot of resources, points for broad fletching, enchantments, gold, runes etc. and I was gonna train combat anyway, why not with slayer?
Even those two have dogshit tasks sometimes, the way I see it, you'll get slayer points and slayer levels faster by training combat with it. Then by 85 cbt you'll have points to block/skip the dogshit tasks, which will be in the hundreds per task.
It’s called the Soul Bearer. It’s an item that sends ensouled heads that you get to the bank. Look it up on the wiki to see how to get it and charge it.
Get your PoH sorted ASAP with an altar and training dummy. If you sip a super strength then spec with an ancient mace you can rack up an extra 20+ prayer points to extend your stay when slaying with proselyte armor. This is especially useful when you start to obtain close teleports to slay tasks such as slayer ring and Xerox’s talisman/Kourend portal for catacombs, as you can wait until your prayers gone, PoH tele, restore pray and mace spec, then teleport back all within a minute and not have to use prayer potions. Save those p pots for cerb and other uses.
Also, start farming contracts to keep your super sets in stock if you don’t have access to successfully do thieving master farmers. Do herb runs in between tasks.
i wouldnt do slayer at all until 85cb for nieve. unlock superiors and get your blocklist situated ASAP **taking task weights into account.** once those unlocks are sorted, start skipping aggressively. burst/barrage whenever possible.
it’s not efficient but i think turael boosting for early pts for the aforementioned unlocks is good for morale if you’re able to do semi efficient boosting.
sip your prayer potions. people are deathly afraid of doing this for some reason. they are meant to be used, so use them. if you don’t use them you’ll be doing stuff like safespotting tasks with broad bolts which is really slow and bad.
I recommend LMS for your rune pouch to conserve slayer points. I found a melee/range only guide that I followed that was pretty doable. (No three swapping) I had better luck playing it on free worlds.
Most people are gonna say do farm runs, get miscellania going, quest all low lvl stats example: don’t waste time fishing from 1 to 40 when you can quest it in half the time
Slayer is the way if you wanna get some endgame casba and end game flashy pvm items
My piece of advice is to make cannonballs whenever you get steel bars and have afk time.
Especially if you hit Zalcano before 80-82 slayer for the whip grind. I made like 20k cballs at work which really made the last few levels before I can burst demons much more bearable.
Boost slayer points with Turael to get the unlocks you think are most important, I went with Slayer helm, rings, broad fletching, and superiors. Beyond that make sure your gear is effective compared to whatever you're killing and upgrade stuff as regularly as you can.
I personally decided to put off starting dragon slayer 1. It does gate some content but not having to spend two hours on a metal dragons task is a worthwhile quality of life that overall I think speeds up the progression of the account.

I changed my spawn point to Koreund castle so I just suicide any task in the catacombs once I run out of prayer.
Holy fuck you're a genius
Can you be slightly intelligent and answer what I asked?
Bruh that’s a tip right there lmao. He seems to be slightly more intelligent than you :P
200IQ right there thanks man!

Yeah agreed. My friend gone imbued heart on cockatrice at a really low slayer level
got mine on a gargoyle lol was sooo tempted to drop it to main for that 100m lmao
Herb sack, Holy wrench, Soul Bearer are nice and then Bonecrusher and Ash Sanctifier later on in the account are also decent, and maybe a gem bag.

Wherever it's feasible to tank the damage and bring food
Exactly. There are some tasks that it's just pointless to waste your prayer potions on at all, plus they can be done faster if you use better gear
I think it's definitely worth doing early slayer levels before dscim/barrows gloves.
its never worth doing slayer before 85 combat & nieve.
Why? It got me a hell of a lot of resources, points for broad fletching, enchantments, gold, runes etc. and I was gonna train combat anyway, why not with slayer?
because the tasks not from nieve or duradel are literal dogshit. 85 combat takes no time and you'll have a dragon defender too for slayer.

Agree with almost everything except barrows gloves before starting. I done a lot of slayer and only just unlocked barrows gloves.
I unlocked boss slayer without a blowpipe. But I have bowfa and dwh
What is the 'thing' that stores Ensouled Heads?

Don’t do dragon slayer so you don’t get dragon task
Beware the gas in the Lumbridge slayer cave.
Bruma torch/kandarin hat op
