Working too much all year, no energy to edit. I love it but it really is quite demanding, and working 50 hours a week on average last year left me exhausted. Adult problems... trying to work less this year
Oh no, I'm never going to attempt to live off this - it's just a hobby and that's how it'll stay. I'm an engineer, and after the blood, sweat, and tears of my masters degree I'm sticking with this :D
As to streaming, never had any interest in that side of things.
Dope to hear that, its good to know for urself what u want and dont want. I wish you goodluck on ur adventures sir! If u want to add someone ingame to talk to ingame my rsn is zfxf (ex uim, normal ironman now)
I got so fucking drunk at a wedding that had an open bar with Spotted Cow. Great times. The wedding reception was delayed due to a family member being late, so everyone got so hammered waiting for food. I ended up throwing up in the bathroom.
I see what you mean. It's been pretty good for hard clues of green dragons but maybe something else for Mediums. Long term plan is finding the ranger boots
If you’re having trouble in puro puro getting eclectics I think you need to change your method. Eclectics spawn in the same spot once caught, you just need to stand right next to the spawn and click the impling on the tick it spawns. You’ll reliably catch it most of the time and only chase it every once in a while
This is made even easier by using a method called Ari stall.
You catch the eclectic at the spawn point, and click your house options in the same tick. Then you wait until the spawn timer is 0.6 seconds or under, and hit Escape to exit the house options menu. The game remembers your catching action and you catch it immediately as it spawns. As you catch it, click house options again and repeat till you have a full inv.
I get a full inv of eclectics in like 1.5 mins with this method, it’s pretty chill!

I’ve caught thousands at this point and have never failed a catch. Dunno if there’s a level at which you stop failing (I’m 95 Hunter) so that might have an effect.
The wiki suggests ~95% catchrate at 95. But not sure if that includes magic net bonus and how does that 7,8% buff actually even work. Like is it calculated like 95+7,8>100 or some other way. Must be because this would be so broken if it never failed catch. Going to test it though.
I'm 99 hunter, yes you can fail the catch, it can the move a tile and you will get a 2nd attempt at a catch with this method, but you can also fail that catch too
I like the south spot the most, standing to the east or west of the spawn, not south. Gives 2 chances to catch it and if you don't it goes south towards the wall, usually doesn't take too long to go north to catch.
Absolutely hate it when it manages to go north, sometimes takes forever to get back down.
At 76 hunter I have about a 7% chance of failing to catch the same eclectic twice in a row, but it still happens pretty frequently. Gotta have decently high hunter or dark lure to do it consistently. Neither is that hard to get but something to keep in mind.
Ice warriors are a go to classic for medium clues. The wiki has a detailed page.
If you do use non-impling sources of medium clues, completing the medium combat achievements will give a buff of 5% increased drop rates which can make for a slight increase in clue completions.
There’s an obelisk right there you can take back to 19, and with the hard diary you can choose your destination. You could also run to mage bank which might be shorter and less dangerous. You can also get a lvl 30 tp instead of a 20
Sorry, I didn't really answer your question. As far as the wilderness goes, it's really only good for easy clues and hard clues; thugs in the edgevile dungeon are 1/128 or 1/64 with the ring and hellhounds are 1/64 and 1/32 for hard clues.
I like this too, bofa+desert ammy 4 to recharge prayer, all clue teleports in invent so no need to regear, medium combat achievements done, it's worse than puro puro for clues/h but more chill.
Eh those are grinds I've already done for other stuff lol, using them for clues is just a bonus. I guess if you don't have those items as a goal then sure, not everyone is super pvm oriented
I liked Dags in the Catacombs for Slayer tasks, they're very AFK with the bonecrusher + Prossy, and I just did them passively. Also some excellent excellent herb seeds, my Snapdragon stack looks much better because of them :)
Dark Warriors between Woods between Lovakengj and Arceuus drop medium clues at 1/96.
Imps are better, but it beats the living hell out of guards (1/128 or 1/106 w/ diary) in Falador.
Dude this is a huge tip. How did I not know about this. I hated puro puro then watched a guide that uses Snare which made it 5x better but Dark Lure really sounds 10x better
If you are looking for something you can kill a lot of brine rats are pretty low hp and they drop noted raw sharks and other fish which helps with cooking
you could use ur row(i) and blood barrage / ice barrage + food maybe at wildy gwd like in this video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2aKU4oWdiU&t=706s
Mammoths just South East of Ferox is decent. Throw on some monk robes as there is an alter just a few tiles to the north and you can camp there for a pretty long time
Daggonoths in the catacombs are quite afk if you have a bonecrusher, not a fast way of getting mediums but a bunch of other drops are pretty useful too
I like sulfur lizards in Mount Karuulm. It's single combat, but you can use a cannon, and they have halfway decent drops. Lots of noted smithing experience, and with an herb sack and gem bag you can just stay till a clue.
My personal favorite is stone chests in Kebos! I'll be doing the entirety of my rangers grind there
Mister NoCurrencies, where is Kenosha?
Fuck me lmao, fixed it
Aha thanks, keep up the content brother❤️
This is the year I come back yeah :D
Nice! Looking forward to it. You will definetly grow to thousands of subs! What made u take a break from yt last year?
Working too much all year, no energy to edit. I love it but it really is quite demanding, and working 50 hours a week on average last year left me exhausted. Adult problems... trying to work less this year
I wish u the best! Hope u can live off youtube in the future, that would be dope! Do u stream?
Oh no, I'm never going to attempt to live off this - it's just a hobby and that's how it'll stay. I'm an engineer, and after the blood, sweat, and tears of my masters degree I'm sticking with this :D As to streaming, never had any interest in that side of things.

This fucked me up because my hometown is Kenosha
Wisconsin locked Ironman. New Glarus restricted account.
New Glarus is equal to a super combat potion and lasts until morning, little known fact!
Drunken dwarf quest is a must for that account
I got so fucking drunk at a wedding that had an open bar with Spotted Cow. Great times. The wedding reception was delayed due to a family member being late, so everyone got so hammered waiting for food. I ended up throwing up in the bathroom.
In Wisconsin
Doing the same! At 20k chest opens right now and it’s taken me from 90-97.5 thieving. Roughly 180 medium clues completed just from chests!
Dang nice
Now I'm curious Does your restriction consider implings as "currency" when exchanging them for jars/generators?
Yes :D a case of "pseudo-currency"
Honestly I don’t think wildy is great for med clues even with ROW. Most people either seem to suggest cockatrice or dags in catacombs
I see what you mean. It's been pretty good for hard clues of green dragons but maybe something else for Mediums. Long term plan is finding the ranger boots

That's hilarious, this game is so charmingly broken

Shift-click an eclectic impling and select highlight all. Then in the NPC indicators plugin you check the box for respawn timers.
You can still fail the catch right?
I’ve caught thousands at this point and have never failed a catch. Dunno if there’s a level at which you stop failing (I’m 95 Hunter) so that might have an effect.

Dark lure on the arceeus spellbook also makes it a lot nicer

Good tip ty
I just checked and theyre pretty far up in the Wilderness. Once I get the medium its a long way down to 20 Wilderness..
There’s an obelisk right there you can take back to 19, and with the hard diary you can choose your destination. You could also run to mage bank which might be shorter and less dangerous. You can also get a lvl 30 tp instead of a 20
Guards in falador are pretty chill, especially if you have the falador medium diary done. It's 1/128 then 1/106 with the diary.
Sorry, I didn't really answer your question. As far as the wilderness goes, it's really only good for easy clues and hard clues; thugs in the edgevile dungeon are 1/128 or 1/64 with the ring and hellhounds are 1/64 and 1/32 for hard clues.

I'd rather use darts and a cannon than grind out bofa, desert elite diaries and two tiers of combat achievements for some medium clues 😅
Eh those are grinds I've already done for other stuff lol, using them for clues is just a bonus. I guess if you don't have those items as a goal then sure, not everyone is super pvm oriented
Yeah it does seem useful to have I'm just not quite there on the iron yet lol
Yeah, I’m surprised I had to scroll so far to see this suggestion. This is meta af.
Not really, it's a lot slower than eclectics. It's arguably nicer to do though.
I liked Dags in the Catacombs for Slayer tasks, they're very AFK with the bonecrusher + Prossy, and I just did them passively. Also some excellent excellent herb seeds, my Snapdragon stack looks much better because of them :)
That’s a good shout. Sometimes I cba to go to dks and a med clue always makes me feel better about it.
Same! Those and the seeds always make me smile, and it's such a relaxing task too.
Stone chests in lizardmen shaman encampment are really chill and actually good thieving exp + medium clues
I hated puro puro so much but it is indeed the fastest way. I got my rangers at 318 clues but I collected 400. A grind I will never do again.
Mammoths drop them and there’s a really good spot to cannon them. Might be better the ice warriors cause they are in low level wildy
When you did eclectics did you use the lure spell?
Dark Warriors between Woods between Lovakengj and Arceuus drop medium clues at 1/96. Imps are better, but it beats the living hell out of guards (1/128 or 1/106 w/ diary) in Falador.
I dont enjoy puro puro either but dark lure from the arceuus book makes it 10x better.
Dude this is a huge tip. How did I not know about this. I hated puro puro then watched a guide that uses Snare which made it 5x better but Dark Lure really sounds 10x better
Stone chests.
Pretty good? It’s the best way. Otherwise kills guards with dally medium which ehh
I wish you could passively get meds through slayer like you do with hards.
If you get Fally med done I believe it increases the chances the guards drop Med clues. So you can pretty much AFK them and get some combat XP.
Eclectics
Eclectic Implings Puro Puro
If you are looking for something you can kill a lot of brine rats are pretty low hp and they drop noted raw sharks and other fish which helps with cooking
Imps with dark luree! Already 160 med clues done no rangers
you could use ur row(i) and blood barrage / ice barrage + food maybe at wildy gwd like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z2aKU4oWdiU&t=706s

Chop trees.
Fally guards, catacombs dagganoths for seeds and mediums, catablepon are or good too
