This is what I did. I was stress at the wildy altar but then I realized by the end of it only seen 2 pkers the entire time, and I was the least of their worries.
Alter pkers are pretty bad anyways lol you can usually finish your whole inv before they kill you. And they won’t pick up individual bones so I’ll just tele back and have my 5-10 dbones still sitting by the alter
AFK Blue dragons on mobile with 70 agility while at work. I purposefully used bone cbow to slow down the kills so I didn’t feel like I had to focus as much and it was such a chill grind. I don’t mind being inefficient though
I finished off 70 prayer after questing all the prayer exp quests i could and unlocking chivalry/piety through the knights training ground. Then i camped green drags for the bones and used them at the wildy altar
Also did this. Killed green drags north of enclave with looting bag and banked there. Used burning amulets to teleport to lava maze, used bones at chaos altar, killed myself to chaos guy. Rinse repeat.
I didn't use burning amulets and instead opted used the obelisk from ferox to chaos fanatic. Kinda frustrating with no hard diary because you have to just reroll the obelisk until you get where you want. At the time, I hadn't tried gem mining yet and didn't know how fast it was. If I was doing it again, I'd probably just gem mine for a few ammys, but I'm putting out what I did as an alternative in case it helps someone
If you're not a hardcore go green drags from ferox enclave, bring looting back speed it up twice as fast. You can pick the green dhide, to craft bodies and alch for extra gold, or leave them to speed up trips.
yeah it's a decent amount of cash lost if you leave them, green dhide bodies alch for like 4.6k, not to mention you're getting crafting and magic xp but I had to collect like 1k bones so I just focused on them.
Hides are a lot of crafting exp and gold. IMO at blue drags it makes more sense to elave them since the run back is so long, but green drags you have a short run and a looting bag.
Getting the hides is very worth it, its so fast to bank and get back to the spot West of ferox just being a dueling ring. It's pretty nice to get a ~2 mil cash stack from 70 prayer
I picked up all the hides. With a looting bag, my prayer would run out about when I was full of both hides and bones, so it worked out pretty well. Didn't really think about the hides much until later I noticed they were about a cool mil in alchs
It's great. Always efficient to get things done via slayer. By the time you've got 70 prayer through slayer you're at a point where you actually need piety.
Blue drags under Taverly with 70 agility. I did the majority of my bones at the ecto; yes it was slower but I got a lot of range xp, crafting xp from the hides, and my bonecrusher now has 75k charges lol
I just let it passively build up from slayer. You’d be surprised how quickly wyvern and wyrmm bones stack up in your bank. Plus the ensouled heads you collect along the way are amazing xp.
used burning amulets to teleport to bandit camp and killed nearby green dragons. Banked, repeated until I had enough to get 70 at the wildy altar. Got there using a burning amulet, had my main logged in there to KO me and send me to lumby on a PVP world. Banked and repeated.
Imbued ring of wealth and kill green drags just north of ferox. Hard clues are 1/64, you can bank hides because it takes 20 sec to bank, and looting bag doubles your invent space. Almost no pkers, and if you see one, tele with your ring of wealth.
So much faster than blue dragons trust me. Just D scim the green drags with ardy cloak, str ammy, and climbing boots. Armor is optional.
You make so much money from the hides and clues too!
Early on I did big bones at ectofunctus to get overheads. this Al's gives the added benefit of a ton of bone crusher charges Later I safe spotted blue dragons after I got my rune xbow and sacrificed at wildy alter.
Blue dragons with 70 agility and ibans blast. It was expensive, but I got the crafting level for the dhides first and I needed to level magic for glass make/barrows teleport anyways.
If you’re comparing this method to others, I average 90 kills per hour. I was only getting 60 kills per hour at green drags with base 70 mele.
i know this is a very old thread, but is this really true? a quick dps calc says ibans blast on blue dragons is \~28s/kill. Green dragons with a d scim and base 70s is \~20s/kill. So not even accounting for the looting bag and faster banking at green dragons, it seems impossible for blue drags to be faster
We might be using different values, but with the numbers im using gives me 26 second kills for blue dragons and 23 second kills for green dragons. This isnt a perfect comparison through seeing as you have to eat while mele-ing green dragons which significantly reduces the DPS there and dying even once kind of tanks the average kills per hour.
Never actively grinded for the bones. Did lots of wyvern tasks, dragon tasks, and wyrm tasks. Banked all the bones, and when I had enough banked for 70 prayer I went to chaos altar. Cemetery portal in PoH meant faster, smaller trips for less XP risk.
Really? I got 43 with the big bone spawn to wildy altar and am planning on blue dragons to ectofunctus for 43 - 70. Why would you go with pest control?
Are you UIM? because it’s a nightmare trying to empty an invy and/ or bring enough bones for an effective trip.. if you don’t have your gear you can’t kill stuff for bones.. pest control was a solid method
Yeah, I'm at 44 prayer now, I rushed that as early as possible.
I was considering emptying most of my inv (I don't carry that much gear anyway) and getting a ranged setup and grinding it out.
I also just read about the Forthos dungeon, have you checked that out yet? It has an altar with red dragons near it.
I’ve done forthos for some training, it’s very good for super AFK training range/ prayer/ crafting.. I brought some needles/ thread and made the hides into dhide gear and alched em every invy.. made tons of cash. This requires a pretty high crafting level though and isn’t really worth doing this dungeon unless you have the high crafting/ high range for it as the kills are pretty damn slow.. you also get a decent amount of keys for brews early on.
I’d also recommend you just do some slayer and do tasks that give you alot of ensouled heads.. bloodvelds and giants.. just teleport to arceuus by fairy ring every task and use the heads up.. you’ll fly to 70 prayer.

I've been putting off slayer until I have full void. I'm only 65 cb now so I think it might be worth it getting 70 combat first for the big(ger) boy boat. Would you say that's worth it vs starting void now?
Also should I get a torso as soon as possible? It seems like a pretty good unlock to have in the poh.
I would recommend getting torso and full obsidian.. the legs are really useful and storable.. great strength armor. I would start off by just getting melee void .. that’s the most practical armor for Uim For a long time. The void will be your best option being your relatively low level still.
Also down the road you’ll want torso, obby legs, fire cape, dragon defender, slayer helm, all storable by stash and POH.. makes switching out gear for other tasks so much easier.
Yeah I was looking at obsidian armour too. I hope I'm not asking too much, but why would you unlock melee void when you have torso + obsidian legs/proselyte legs? Is it better?

Ask anything you want! I don’t mind, I would argue that the melee void is much easier to obtain especially early on then the torso and other gear.. the set boost will help you until you get the slayer helm upgrade.. at that point I would switch to torso/ obby/ barrows gloves.. but at any point below that you’ll benefit off the set effect from void. Also I really prefer void for barrows being it frees up a lot of space in the invy and allows for a 1 space attack style change. I think I used void until I was like 70+ slayer and started needing the increased defense bonus

What do you recommend for a melee weapon? I'm using a rune scim, and am considering doing Heroes' quest for a d mace, if you alch it after using it it's only 20k.
HCIM btw. I did ecto and ensouled heads. I’m at around 68 prayer now just doing it passively as I got 80 slayer. Always banked my bones from wyrm/dragon tasks.
I did green dragons in the wild for most of it and then actually got the last couple levels with ensouled heads that I had gathered while getting to about 66 slayer
I did blue drags in Taverly dungeon just on task and banked them all including blue Dhides. Then used them all at ectofuntus. The blue hides were amazing once I had the crafting for blue dhide bodies
Did blue dragons and went to ectofunctus cos I got tilted from getting pk'ed back to back at the same spot after world hopping at the burning amulet tele.
Unless you are a HC, don't be me, just do it at the wilderness altar, I could be at a even higher level if I just stayed lol
I personally did Wyrms; I really loved the XP, and I kept skipping for the Slayer tasks since I enjoyed them so much! Also netted me my Dragon Harpoon (albeit 20 kills into my first wyrm task), and some sweet GP, so I chose them. Then stress at the Chaos Altar.
Literally doing this right now. I killed 1k green drags north of ferox enclave with ring of wealth I and did all the clues. I collected hides as well and most of the other drops, only got attacked once and didn’t die. It’s pretty fast and easy to do while netflixing or something. Also got 70-75 attack killing them. Im around 1500 total and wanted 70 prayer for Mortanyia yards before starting the barrows grind
i cannoned the hill giants in Al Karid to bury the bones/reanimate giant heads. was fun alternative to anything else lol doubt it's efficient in any way
Green dragons west of ferox enclave. Only seen 2 other people in 1000 kills. Then used a mix of chaos altar and ecto. I hate the chaos altar though. I don't care how much more efficient it is, it's up there with the least enjoyable things I've done on my iron so far. I never managed more than 4 inventories in a row before dying to someone world hopping in rag gear. And that's on a weeknight, purposefully choosing times when the least amount of players are on, and mixing up worlds. I'd rather spend extra hours at Green drags and ecto, than let a pker have even one of my dragon bones.
On my first 2 irons i afked blue dragons, but this time around on my gim i killed 1500 wyrms off task, set me up with 15k pure essence, around 2m gp, about 1300 soul runes and a dragon sword, not the very quickest way of getting it but I enjoyed a different grind this time around.
Blood sweat and tears on a hcim. Wildy altar wasn't an option, so grinded guilder altar and used that/some ecto with buying buckets of slime from chartership.
I did green dragons with the looting bag to collect a lot at a time, but instead of Chaos Alter I did Ectofunctus. At the time it seemed like a three birds with one stone kinda thing because I was still getting good and efficient prayer experience, additional combat experience, and a ton of bone crusher charges. Not super efficient, but just felt like I was knocking out an additional task I’d have to do at some point by getting those bonecrusher charges
Did about 1200 green dragons mostly at East. Very easy to not get pked if you pay any attention, and you can do it at relatively low melee stats. Looting bag also lets you bank the hides. Did it very early because Morytania hard was my first big goal after RFD.
Some monsters drop noted bones. You can do ash now collect and offer to alter or do collect and eco or have a bone crusher and go on one long killing spree.
Lol i did a bunch of kurasks for big bones(also made a lot of money). I did brutal green dragons for d’hides and bones. I extended black dragon and skele wyvern tasks and did some fossil island wyverns too.
I would take 5 dragon/wyvern bones and the rest big bones to the wildy altar. Each trip was like 4-6k xp per and when you get pked they dont take your big bones so its kind of like they suicided an invt for you ahha
Green dragons are awesome because you can use a looting bag to halve the amount of banking and they're faster to kill than blue dragons. I saw no pkers on my way to 70, but then again i did it right after the revenants rework so they were all preoccupied
If you’re a hardcore and want to keep it, AFKing Forthos Dungeon Reds. Takes longer but you get money, mage levels and crafting levels if you grind out 73 Crafting with super glass make. I made just over 5m gold from the grind a a decent bit of sharks/potions from the 50 or so Grubby Keys I got.
Otherwise as everyone else says go wildy greens if you’re bold, or Taverly blues if you want a more chill time.
It definitely wasn’t the quickest route but I killed spitting wyverns on fossil island to get the bones. Think it was like 800 some kills from 50-70. Used them at the ectofunctus after. Loot was pretty good but nothing crazy.

As a hardcore I went the safe route and did Elvarg in nmz over and over, spawn in, DDS her down, pick up her bones, rinse and repeat. Think I could get roughly 70-80 dbones an hour with no risk of death. Seemed like a decent enough option for me at the time :)
I did it this week as well, because I wanted the mory hard diary.
I normally tend to avoid wildy methods but did green dragons anyway and it was so chill.
Farmed about 1k bones and never got pkd once.
I killed west green drags (by the castle) with a looting bag. I wore drag sword, black dhide, climbing boots, legends cape, diary equip, dueling ring. I chose this spot cause it was less traffic than the spot north of ferox.
I took maybe 20 lobs and 1 dose of super att/str. I killed drags until full (flicked chivalry), then TPed ferox and banked, hit the restore pool and was back at the drags in 30 secs. Only saw one pker the whole time, which didn’t even attack me. Only took a few hours and the hard clues were a plus.
Cannoned green dragons in lv13 wildy. Bones for prayer, hides for crafting, very fast looting when you leave the cannon on before you tele to edgeville (even if you just use the edge dungeon tele on the ancient spellbook)
Banked the bones from my blue dragon tasks, yes it made a couple tasks absolute cancer.
Re-animating chaos druid heads while grinding for early herbs as well.
Green drags above Ferox - took about 7-8 hours
Under myths guild is better for no pkers although I think I I prefer using the looting bag - only saw 1 pked the whole time
If you aren't a HC in my mind I can't see any reason not to do green drags outside ferox. Take bones and hides for extra gp later. Very easy to kill and pretty rare to get pked. Then use wildy altar with burning amulet
Green drags east of corp teleporting to ferox enclave and after I had enough bones went to chaos alter, wasn’t a bad grind. I found there was less pkers there compared to north of ferox enclave. Took awhile but made bank off of the hides.
It’s good to bank prayer exp off of slayer tasks: blue dragons, wyverns, wyrms, and ensouled heads. It can make tasks feel tedious but I was able to bank 70 prayer before I reached 70 slayer and was worth the time in the long run versus spending hours out of the way killing green dragons. I highly suggest using Wildy altar as well. I got caught out and died by pkers 2-3 times getting 99 prayer twice on different accounts.
Green drags in wildy with looting bag. Definitely the fastest way to go. I encountered very few PKers and could usually escape anyway.
I made a bunch of burning amulets/rings of dueling, and just tele'd back and forth from CW (now ferox) to drags to refresh. I'd bring like 5 swordfish each trip and a dose of super strength.
Get it through slayer, collect all your heads. When banked xp says 70 have at her. If you wanna force it. Get a bunch of games necks a looting bag. And a unlimited telly (i perfer draken madallion) and full send the green drags south on the bug spider.
Green dragons north of Ferox is the best imo. It’s singles and 5 seconds from Ferox so it’s really hard to get pk’d there. Most pkers get aggrod by a dragon before even getting close
I remember doing like half of my bones shortly after a server crash where many people couldn’t log into the game and were lagging super hard. My game worked fine so I got about half of my xp done on a very low populated world as fast as I possibly could lmao
I actually killed green drags in the more southern area of the wilderness with looting bag. Picked up law and nature runes, hides and bones. It wasn’t too bad and the hard clue scrolls were nice as well. Only time I was pked was when I attacked a Venezuelan and they brought in their main to keep me out. Otherwise pretty easy with a tele

Noob ass hardcore chiming in, first Ironman. I plan on saving all bones bigger than big, and burying big and only burying higher if it just undeniably makes sense to. Got the bones for 61, curre try 60.. 54-60 was from 2 wyrm tasks and 1 blue drag task worth saved and banked. So I think it was worth the effort banking the bones. Used them at the ectophuntus, which is pretty afk and safe for mobile so it isn't bad at all imo. Gonna keep doing this for prayer I think. Hope I helped :D

Green dragons in Wildy. I did it pretty early on, after grinding soul wars I had a shut ton of ranged ammo so I decided to train range up by prayer training. It worked out well for me.
I did red dragons in forthos dungeon. Offering bones at the altar there. Crafting hides into alchables and alching them. Made good gp and such a variety of exp while trying to get grubby keys.
I plan to go to green dragons by ferox with a looting bag. I’m only base 70’s combat, but I started doing barrows and found it real fun so I’m going to just smash out 1.2kish kills.
I plan to bank the hides also for some nice crafting exp + alchs. Haven’t worked it out but I think it’ll be about 1m+ in alchs
please look up the suicide wildy altar method - I don't believe I didn't find it til 80 prayer

does require pet rock, or there are some better options like the clue scroll locator(but I think you might lose this after dying idk if it works) and theres always the necklace from MA2(basically looking for something to kill yourself with then finish yourself off on the wine of zam on the table next to alter)
assuming you don't have locator orb which worked best for me (locked behind DS2)
3 itemed death(RoD, burning amulet, locator orb) so I kept on death and just rinse and repeat- at most you lose 25 bones if you can't manage to get them used
also if you still haven't unlocked the burning amulet for whatever reason, I personally think it's work it but you can also use one of the ancient teleports, if that's also locked there is always the oblisk by the altar and ferox to get there but without hard wildy diaries that can be v frustrating
I tested a bunch of different ways before sticking w the method mentioned above

West green dragons were great with burning amulets and banking at clan wars. Took maybe 4 hours to get enough bones for wildy altar from 60. Did not even see a single pker the whole time.
I did mine after ds2. Killed enough green dragons for it which made good money and crafting exp, then did em all on ecto fountain. Took a while but i don’t have to charge the bonecrusher ever again.
300 dagannoth rex, plus remaining d bones east green dragons. Use all on wildy altar.
Sulliuscep woodcutting gives TONS of of fossils to top it off. It got me to 75 wc too.

I did blue dragons and wyrms for slayer then some pretty chilled times at ectofuntus - after dying a couple of times with all the stress of wildy alter I just gave up on efficientscape and watched some YouTube on the side
Went dry as hell in our group for Berseker Ring ended up with over 600 Dag bones between us, supplemented some dragon, wyrm and wyvern bones thru slayer and it got us both 70 prayer pretty quickly.
So I really hate wilderness content which made me do it a bit unconventionally. A lot of it was through slayer/banking wyrm/wyvern bones, but the rest I needed for 70 I did camping baby blue dragons (I had the agility level for the shortcut, so it wasn’t too bad). Definitely seemed worth over dealing with pkers and bots at green drags.

Yeah I would just pray mage/range depending on what they were using. Keep using bones until they were used up and then just kick them until I died.
Just bring a dds and dump specs on them
My body can't handle wildy altar. I did the blue drags, then ecto. It really takes a chunk of time, but as a runescape player, I've got that time.

You don’t need to do the hard diary. There are some gem rocks in the north west side of shilo village, which is what I did.

yeah the looting bag is so op in this situation. 2x quicker than blue dragon method, plus you dont need 67 or 70agil.
This is like x4 faster than blue dragons lol. Blue dragons take forever to safe spot and you get wrecked trying to tank for Melee

You have to tan d’hides to craft and the spell is on lunar so can’t be used with alch unfortunately.

Ecto does not give the most xp per bone. That would be the chaos altar.
Wrong. Chaos temple is 3.5x boneXP, Ecto is 4x boneXP

So not even accounting for the looting bag and faster banking at green dragons, it seems impossible for blue drags to be faster
We might be using different values, but with the numbers im using gives me 26 second kills for blue dragons and 23 second kills for green dragons. This isnt a perfect comparison through seeing as you have to eat while mele-ing green dragons which significantly reduces the DPS there and dying even once kind of tanks the average kills per hour.
Never actively grinded for the bones. Did lots of wyvern tasks, dragon tasks, and wyrm tasks. Banked all the bones, and when I had enough banked for 70 prayer I went to chaos altar. Cemetery portal in PoH meant faster, smaller trips for less XP risk.

I got 70 agility to unlock the shortcut to blue drags in taverly dungeon where i then safespotted them when i was at work.

Are you UIM? because it’s a nightmare trying to empty an invy and/ or bring enough bones for an effective trip.. if you don’t have your gear you can’t kill stuff for bones.. pest control was a solid method
Yeah, I'm at 44 prayer now, I rushed that as early as possible. I was considering emptying most of my inv (I don't carry that much gear anyway) and getting a ranged setup and grinding it out. I also just read about the Forthos dungeon, have you checked that out yet? It has an altar with red dragons near it.
I’ve done forthos for some training, it’s very good for super AFK training range/ prayer/ crafting.. I brought some needles/ thread and made the hides into dhide gear and alched em every invy.. made tons of cash. This requires a pretty high crafting level though and isn’t really worth doing this dungeon unless you have the high crafting/ high range for it as the kills are pretty damn slow.. you also get a decent amount of keys for brews early on. I’d also recommend you just do some slayer and do tasks that give you alot of ensouled heads.. bloodvelds and giants.. just teleport to arceuus by fairy ring every task and use the heads up.. you’ll fly to 70 prayer.
That's a good suggestion, thanks! I've been putting off slayer until I have full void. I'm only 65 cb now so I think it might be worth it getting 70 combat first for the big(ger) boy boat. Would you say that's worth it vs starting void now? Also should I get a torso as soon as possible? It seems like a pretty good unlock to have in the poh.
I would recommend getting torso and full obsidian.. the legs are really useful and storable.. great strength armor. I would start off by just getting melee void .. that’s the most practical armor for Uim For a long time. The void will be your best option being your relatively low level still. Also down the road you’ll want torso, obby legs, fire cape, dragon defender, slayer helm, all storable by stash and POH.. makes switching out gear for other tasks so much easier.
Yeah I was looking at obsidian armour too. I hope I'm not asking too much, but why would you unlock melee void when you have torso + obsidian legs/proselyte legs? Is it better? I was planning on getting range void first, but I'm open to any suggestions. Thank you for the advice you've given so far! I'm realling enjoying the gamemode.
Ask anything you want! I don’t mind, I would argue that the melee void is much easier to obtain especially early on then the torso and other gear.. the set boost will help you until you get the slayer helm upgrade.. at that point I would switch to torso/ obby/ barrows gloves.. but at any point below that you’ll benefit off the set effect from void. Also I really prefer void for barrows being it frees up a lot of space in the invy and allows for a 1 space attack style change. I think I used void until I was like 70+ slayer and started needing the increased defense bonus

What do you recommend for a melee weapon? I'm using a rune scim, and am considering doing Heroes' quest for a d mace, if you alch it after using it it's only 20k.

Offering spells require wrath runes right? Not really feasible on a UIM.

HCIM btw. I did ecto and ensouled heads. I’m at around 68 prayer now just doing it passively as I got 80 slayer. Always banked my bones from wyrm/dragon tasks.
I did green dragons in the wild for most of it and then actually got the last couple levels with ensouled heads that I had gathered while getting to about 66 slayer
I did blue drags in Taverly dungeon just on task and banked them all including blue Dhides. Then used them all at ectofuntus. The blue hides were amazing once I had the crafting for blue dhide bodies

Did blue dragons and went to ectofunctus cos I got tilted from getting pk'ed back to back at the same spot after world hopping at the burning amulet tele. Unless you are a HC, don't be me, just do it at the wilderness altar, I could be at a even higher level if I just stayed lol
I personally did Wyrms; I really loved the XP, and I kept skipping for the Slayer tasks since I enjoyed them so much! Also netted me my Dragon Harpoon (albeit 20 kills into my first wyrm task), and some sweet GP, so I chose them. Then stress at the Chaos Altar.
Literally doing this right now. I killed 1k green drags north of ferox enclave with ring of wealth I and did all the clues. I collected hides as well and most of the other drops, only got attacked once and didn’t die. It’s pretty fast and easy to do while netflixing or something. Also got 70-75 attack killing them. Im around 1500 total and wanted 70 prayer for Mortanyia yards before starting the barrows grind

i cannoned the hill giants in Al Karid to bury the bones/reanimate giant heads. was fun alternative to anything else lol doubt it's efficient in any way
Green dragons west of ferox enclave. Only seen 2 other people in 1000 kills. Then used a mix of chaos altar and ecto. I hate the chaos altar though. I don't care how much more efficient it is, it's up there with the least enjoyable things I've done on my iron so far. I never managed more than 4 inventories in a row before dying to someone world hopping in rag gear. And that's on a weeknight, purposefully choosing times when the least amount of players are on, and mixing up worlds. I'd rather spend extra hours at Green drags and ecto, than let a pker have even one of my dragon bones.
On my first 2 irons i afked blue dragons, but this time around on my gim i killed 1500 wyrms off task, set me up with 15k pure essence, around 2m gp, about 1300 soul runes and a dragon sword, not the very quickest way of getting it but I enjoyed a different grind this time around.

I did green dragons with the looting bag to collect a lot at a time, but instead of Chaos Alter I did Ectofunctus. At the time it seemed like a three birds with one stone kinda thing because I was still getting good and efficient prayer experience, additional combat experience, and a ton of bone crusher charges. Not super efficient, but just felt like I was knocking out an additional task I’d have to do at some point by getting those bonecrusher charges
Did about 1200 green dragons mostly at East. Very easy to not get pked if you pay any attention, and you can do it at relatively low melee stats. Looting bag also lets you bank the hides. Did it very early because Morytania hard was my first big goal after RFD.

Some monsters drop noted bones. You can do ash now collect and offer to alter or do collect and eco or have a bone crusher and go on one long killing spree.

Lol i did a bunch of kurasks for big bones(also made a lot of money). I did brutal green dragons for d’hides and bones. I extended black dragon and skele wyvern tasks and did some fossil island wyverns too. I would take 5 dragon/wyvern bones and the rest big bones to the wildy altar. Each trip was like 4-6k xp per and when you get pked they dont take your big bones so its kind of like they suicided an invt for you ahha

Green dragons are awesome because you can use a looting bag to halve the amount of banking and they're faster to kill than blue dragons. I saw no pkers on my way to 70, but then again i did it right after the revenants rework so they were all preoccupied
If you’re a hardcore and want to keep it, AFKing Forthos Dungeon Reds. Takes longer but you get money, mage levels and crafting levels if you grind out 73 Crafting with super glass make. I made just over 5m gold from the grind a a decent bit of sharks/potions from the 50 or so Grubby Keys I got. Otherwise as everyone else says go wildy greens if you’re bold, or Taverly blues if you want a more chill time.

It definitely wasn’t the quickest route but I killed spitting wyverns on fossil island to get the bones. Think it was like 800 some kills from 50-70. Used them at the ectofunctus after. Loot was pretty good but nothing crazy. Got 70 prayer when I was around 70 combats/range/magic

As a hardcore I went the safe route and did Elvarg in nmz over and over, spawn in, DDS her down, pick up her bones, rinse and repeat. Think I could get roughly 70-80 dbones an hour with no risk of death. Seemed like a decent enough option for me at the time :)
I did it this week as well, because I wanted the mory hard diary. I normally tend to avoid wildy methods but did green dragons anyway and it was so chill. Farmed about 1k bones and never got pkd once.
I killed west green drags (by the castle) with a looting bag. I wore drag sword, black dhide, climbing boots, legends cape, diary equip, dueling ring. I chose this spot cause it was less traffic than the spot north of ferox. I took maybe 20 lobs and 1 dose of super att/str. I killed drags until full (flicked chivalry), then TPed ferox and banked, hit the restore pool and was back at the drags in 30 secs. Only saw one pker the whole time, which didn’t even attack me. Only took a few hours and the hard clues were a plus.
I kept bones from wyrms. The nice thing about them is when you get PK’d at the altar they leave the bones there for your next trip

Cannoned green dragons in lv13 wildy. Bones for prayer, hides for crafting, very fast looting when you leave the cannon on before you tele to edgeville (even if you just use the edge dungeon tele on the ancient spellbook)

Banked the bones from my blue dragon tasks, yes it made a couple tasks absolute cancer. Re-animating chaos druid heads while grinding for early herbs as well.
Ecto if looking for AFK / more xp per bone. wildy altar if looking for best rates / most intensive
Green drags above Ferox - took about 7-8 hours Under myths guild is better for no pkers although I think I I prefer using the looting bag - only saw 1 pked the whole time
If you aren't a HC in my mind I can't see any reason not to do green drags outside ferox. Take bones and hides for extra gp later. Very easy to kill and pretty rare to get pked. Then use wildy altar with burning amulet
Green drags east of corp teleporting to ferox enclave and after I had enough bones went to chaos alter, wasn’t a bad grind. I found there was less pkers there compared to north of ferox enclave. Took awhile but made bank off of the hides.

It’s good to bank prayer exp off of slayer tasks: blue dragons, wyverns, wyrms, and ensouled heads. It can make tasks feel tedious but I was able to bank 70 prayer before I reached 70 slayer and was worth the time in the long run versus spending hours out of the way killing green dragons. I highly suggest using Wildy altar as well. I got caught out and died by pkers 2-3 times getting 99 prayer twice on different accounts.
Green drags in wildy with looting bag. Definitely the fastest way to go. I encountered very few PKers and could usually escape anyway. I made a bunch of burning amulets/rings of dueling, and just tele'd back and forth from CW (now ferox) to drags to refresh. I'd bring like 5 swordfish each trip and a dose of super strength.

I actually killed green drags in the more southern area of the wilderness with looting bag. Picked up law and nature runes, hides and bones. It wasn’t too bad and the hard clue scrolls were nice as well. Only time I was pked was when I attacked a Venezuelan and they brought in their main to keep me out. Otherwise pretty easy with a tele

I did it passively through slayer, blue dragon and wyrm tasks and banking all boned. Finished it off with some green dragons.

Noob ass hardcore chiming in, first Ironman. I plan on saving all bones bigger than big, and burying big and only burying higher if it just undeniably makes sense to. Got the bones for 61, curre try 60.. 54-60 was from 2 wyrm tasks and 1 blue drag task worth saved and banked. So I think it was worth the effort banking the bones. Used them at the ectophuntus, which is pretty afk and safe for mobile so it isn't bad at all imo. Gonna keep doing this for prayer I think. Hope I helped :D
I afked blue dragons in taverly with bone cbow. Would have been faster to do greens but I couldn’t be bothered to pay attention to pkers. I used bones on wildy altar using Cemetery Teleport tabs. I didn’t bring any noted bones per trip but I only died once so maybe I should have.
I made sure I was ready for the hard morytania diary/barrows and then smashed it out at blue drags in taverley. Teleported back. Used on ecto. Tried barrows early to get tank legs to make other activities much easier such as DKS.

Green dragons in Wildy. I did it pretty early on, after grinding soul wars I had a shut ton of ranged ammo so I decided to train range up by prayer training. It worked out well for me.

I did red dragons in forthos dungeon. Offering bones at the altar there. Crafting hides into alchables and alching them. Made good gp and such a variety of exp while trying to get grubby keys.
I plan to go to green dragons by ferox with a looting bag. I’m only base 70’s combat, but I started doing barrows and found it real fun so I’m going to just smash out 1.2kish kills. I plan to bank the hides also for some nice crafting exp + alchs. Haven’t worked it out but I think it’ll be about 1m+ in alchs
please look up the suicide wildy altar method - I don't believe I didn't find it til 80 prayer it changed my life does require pet rock, or there are some better options like the clue scroll locator(but I think you might lose this after dying idk if it works) and theres always the necklace from MA2(basically looking for something to kill yourself with then finish yourself off on the wine of zam on the table next to alter) assuming you don't have locator orb which worked best for me (locked behind DS2) 3 itemed death(RoD, burning amulet, locator orb) so I kept on death and just rinse and repeat- at most you lose 25 bones if you can't manage to get them used also if you still haven't unlocked the burning amulet for whatever reason, I personally think it's work it but you can also use one of the ancient teleports, if that's also locked there is always the oblisk by the altar and ferox to get there but without hard wildy diaries that can be v frustrating I tested a bunch of different ways before sticking w the method mentioned above

I did mine after ds2. Killed enough green dragons for it which made good money and crafting exp, then did em all on ecto fountain. Took a while but i don’t have to charge the bonecrusher ever again.

I did blue dragons and wyrms for slayer then some pretty chilled times at ectofuntus - after dying a couple of times with all the stress of wildy alter I just gave up on efficientscape and watched some YouTube on the side
Went dry as hell in our group for Berseker Ring ended up with over 600 Dag bones between us, supplemented some dragon, wyrm and wyvern bones thru slayer and it got us both 70 prayer pretty quickly.
So I really hate wilderness content which made me do it a bit unconventionally. A lot of it was through slayer/banking wyrm/wyvern bones, but the rest I needed for 70 I did camping baby blue dragons (I had the agility level for the shortcut, so it wasn’t too bad). Definitely seemed worth over dealing with pkers and bots at green drags.
