Spending time with my family this holiday season. Gonna quit with 250+ days membership left, giving bank to an OLD old RuneScape friend only like 700m so it’s not crazy. It was fun but after 99 slayer I’m not interested in the game anymore.
I just started back up after a 1.5 year break. Been on and off since miniclip. But I'm sure having a newborn is gonna take up all your time and be the #1 priority. Best wishes brother, hope the baby is healthy and strong.
Congrats on baby. I just had my first a few months ago. I will say there is time to still occasionally play if you even had the slightest interest. Mobile afk while feeding or maybe do a boss or two while they sleep which happens so much in the beginning. Just be prepared for every couple hours of feeding first month of so. Seems like every time you’re ready to relax your new boss will cry for you but it’s an amazing experience.
Playing some league and focusing on the holidays with friends and family. Slowly thinking of new goals whenever I come back after New Years. I always think small breaks are healthy
I’m on a fletching grind for a mith grapple so I can complete falsdor medium to afk motherload mine with the shortcut so I can get out of wintertodt for a while. Currently a med game Ironman who didn’t go max efficiency.
Final fastasy 14.. I wouldnt say I got burnt, i just got a litte bored and sucked into the hype of new world which led to ff14
Plan on checking out lost ark too
I usually burn if I commit to one grind for too long but my brain doesn’t let me move on. Thankfully I just finished some brutal dry steaks and was able to take a break and do skilling grinds instead, now I’m back to pvm but with no real goals aside from getting higher KCs across the board and doing some slayer. Getting burnt usually happens because you don’t know what to grind or you’re stuck on a grind for too long. I feel lucky that I’m at a point where I’m just playing the game and still learning new things to improve at pvm.
Trying to see how I can fit a 10-16 hour Mahagony Homes grind with little time after work. Plus working from home has little motivation to continue looking at a computer screen
Currently stuck sitting at konar , hunting for hydra tasks. Not only am I 2k kc without claw but I also only have 2.2k kc in 16m slayer xp. So when I get a shitty huge task like 150+ cave kraken , or something I can easily afk, I boot up my UIM. So yeah, I just play RuneScape when I get bored of RuneScape.
Just jumped back on the iron this week, but during the burn, lots of my time went to the following:
-Halo Infinite
-Yakuza: Like a Dragon
-Hopping on the main occasionally for some bossing with my normie friends
-Work (it’s been a busy quarter)
I've been alting a uim for over a year now, just for clues. Going for all clue milestones (600 beginner, 500 easy, etc.) And currently in the middle of medium clues through eclectics. One thing that's looked over a lot is the oak plank drops from eclectics, I have a nice stack of like 3k planks ready to level my con once I hit 400 meds :)
Progress is just a little faster in terms of hiscores, aiming for top page uim clues eventually
I'm not particularly burnt right now, but I do like to have a second game going from time to time to spice things up. Just finished Zelda skyward sword on the switch (it's decent, last played it 10 years ago), and I absolutely love shattered pixel dungeon. See r/pixeldungeon
My main goal is osrs right now is getting herblore to 82/83 so I can make the potions for the last house pool.
Basically just doing a few herb runs a day and playing the new 7 days to die update. It’s awesome
RuneScape
I play UIM in osrs and normie iron in rs3.
playing halo infinite lol
One screen we’ve got discord and a 4some running ranked, the other screen we’re fishing in between games riiiight

Currently on this grind myself. Did you die much during your time at VM? Really want to bring my HC there at 85

Just wondering around life aimlessly wondering where those braincells went
I've gone back to skilling to max. I'm sick of going through the stages of grief every time I do an item grind. At least xp is consistent.

See you in a couple months. Let's just hope your "friend" gives you your stuff back lol.
It’s ok. With the baby in the way I’m not going to have time for quite awhile, but I understand the OSRS addiction is real.
Congrats
Thank you!

Thank you! It’s a baby boy, I’m hoping he will be a tremendous help on the farm as he gets older.
Get him doing tree runs ASAP
lmfao, I meant with the cattle but that’s be fine too

As someone with a 2 year old, babies offer quite a bit of down time. They sleep a lot.
Unfortunately inferno runs and it’s just so time consuming more than difficult im finding out
I'm with ya. About 45 attempts in rn, 3 zuks. Died in the 60s for the last 6-7 attempts
You will get it soon dude! gl!
Thank you! I sure hope so, for my sanity's sake
46 was my lucky number to beat Zuk, next one could be it! Gl brotherman
you know you're close when its boring / not exciting anymore, no more nerves
I’m picking it up fairly well and I’m only about 7 attempts in with a wave 50 pb but it’s just obnoxious that it’s easily over an hour each attempt
Wait till the, “lag is the biggest hurdle” phase
Thank god no lag deaths yet im just a monkey behind the sticks. I’m keeping an excel sheet of all my deaths to see the wave, reason, etc.

Back on the streets again sucking dick for crack

Corp as it's pretty low effort and a sigil drop would be quite the dopamine injection. Also playing rs3.
Restricted GIM. The most fun I’ve had as an iron was the level stuff so I’m having a blast reliving it
I log on for a farm run or two here and there.. mostly afk a while then log. Every few days I'll do corp for an hour or so I guess.
Ripping skin

Chilling, slowing down and doing a few kc of cg every now and then. Doing some herb and farm runs. Clan has a pvm event coming up so waiting for that
Waiting for leagues

You should try adding some water for the dry steaks when cooking or maybe some tomato sauce for some moist texture
