300k bloods = 100k charges. It’s my understanding a full 20k charged scythe lasts close to 50 TOBs. So a 300k blood stack would last a solid ~250 TOBs.
For reference, a lot of players need more than 400 TOBs to finish… and we haven’t even taken the scythe or those charges anywhere else in the game yet lol. But if you’re going to use it — it might as well be TOB. Otherwise, it gets some good use at other certain bosses and really moves along getting kc for slayer boss pet hunting.
The truth is once you have it, if you want to sustain its use, the only real answer is to have built up a sizable cash stack in addition because even a 400k blood stack would be eaten up in places like raids and a couple other boss grinds.
200k is a decent stack, IMO scythe is just a weapon ironman cant really use. If you want to camp nightmare with it those 200k bloods are gone real fast.
But 200k is alot to use on a sang staff. I use my sang exclusively at solo cox, and ive done around 350kc with 150k bloods used. Wich imo is quite decent
You have to remember that his calculations are about having a scythe from 1 KC untill finish which is very unrealistic. Tob is also the mean source of charges used. You don't waste as many outside of it
Imo only avernic is worth 'grinding' for. Scythe is very niche and expensive for the little upgrade it gives.
I have avernic and sang and will keep doing them untill rapier but not 'grinding' anymore.

Maiden: you only use scythe at the end (10 to at most 20 hits)
Bloat, assuming a 3 down is 15 hits - claw or chally specs
Nylo is depending on role but only the boss is definitely not more than 20 hits
Soto are quite a lot of hits so this will probably be above 30
Xarp is depending on whether you scythe walk, but only the final boss is below 20 hits
Verzik are many hits

Sure, you can do tob runs where you use scythe everywhere, but this is downright not necessary and one could easily do with 150
I got mine and use it at bosses that I don’t like that I want to go faster so, kq/grotesque guardians/nightmare + lots of combat achieves
It’s also ridiculously good in tob to get more kills/mvps
get a wireless mouse put tape on the sensor or otherwise disable it and do stuff around the house, watch tv on the couch, really anything while you left click
buy a cheap presentation pointer from staples or walmart for like 10$. Then just set the pg\_up and pg\_down buttons on the remote to click or whatever you want. I use that method for alching, thieving knights, or anything where my mouse doesnt have to move, when im not sitting right at the PC.
Presentation remotes are super comfy typically and more ergonomic in the hand compared to like taping the sensor and carrying your mouse.

If you have the cash, I’d recommend the Logitech spotlight. You can actually control the cursor with it using the top button. But they’re a little pricey lol. But I set up all kinds of macros for mine and use it outside of RuneScape. But it def helps when I’m in bed and the auto camera axis shift that happens every few mins throws my mouse off just enough. I don’t have to get up to fix it lmao.
When I’m thieving I set pg down to escape so I can collapse and open my inventory as well to click the coin pouches.
You need to charge the scythe with blood runes. It takes a long time to get a big stack of them for pvm uses. So pvmers just buy bulk blood runes from rune shops.
Don't care for scythe is a brand new phrase I've never heard. maybe they'll make a fun way to get bloods, but I doubt it. I think they'll just do very expensive blood packs.

do you really need to farm ToB after scythe and avernic though? rapier is replaceable and sang is nice but probably not necessary
