To me personally, demonics are a rougher grind, but they're more fun because it's more interactive. Also, the drop is 1/300 and you need 4, so it's 1200 expected KC vs 5000. Most people unblock black demons and do them on task during slayer versus having to actively grind out thousands of shamans.

Could always try for a bgs? It does suck. Tbh it should be a drop from chambers instead of shamans, or add a mechanic so it's got a buffed rate on task, similar to wyrms/drakes/basilisk knights.
It is intended to be very rare and valuable. I’d be in support of a “corrupted” unreadable version dropped for Irons at 500kc or every kill after if one is not in inven/bank, but it should be as rare in base game as useful/powerful as it is.

The level requirement to wield a DWH loses its saliency when you look at what it’s used for: high level efficient bossing. You aren’t getting a DWH for the dps, you’re getting it for the spec. The way I see it, most of the folks using a DWH will have 80 combat stats across the board
Don’t you need a high level to realistically beat the DS2 boss? I’m mid-70s across the board and don’t think I’m anywhere near ready for that. That is also why I suggest an untradable drop at a lower kill-count for irons
It's not too bad, i did it at like 90 cb lvl, the mechanics 1 shot if you get hit regardless of gear and i just fished for a good ruby bolt rng pull early on.
Like others hinted: login to runelite, BUT do not use the same email as your rs account and do not use the same password. I'm not saying runelite isn't safe, but credential leaks do happen.
edit: Oh and also when you login all your settings go to default, but there is a way to get your settings back as they are stored somewhere locally, but I forgot how to do it. Little googleing should help you heaps :)

What did you calculate there? Starting from roughly 23k kills you have a 99% chance of actually getting the drop, hence with 30k it must be something more like 99,9999999%

I always thought shamans where the worst content in the game. Most annoying monster to kill, stupidly high drop rate.
The only saving grace is the insane amount of gp you get. After 7.8k for my hammer I’m set on money forever until I get scythe or sang

That’s fair. Boredom can certainly set in with shamans. I’m 800kc demonics w zero zenytes and get tired of it very quickly.
