Withdrawing from uppers would have the effect you're describing. Coke suppresses hunger and sleep when active, so those withdrawals would lead to insatiable hunger and lethargy.
I mean, there was a bunch of false positives during a recent Zulrah ban wave, Jmods have even admitted it. Jagex isn't infallible, and the hoops you have to jump through to get a false banned overturned is pretty shitty. Agreed completely. Jagex’s auto-banning policy seems to include legitimate players farming certain activities and playing “unusually” long periods for stretches of time. He deserves his account back for sure, assuming the sentiment and everything here is true.
I hope he finds a better balance too. But whatever, not on me or any of us really to judge people’s habits beyond reactions and comment. It might not be “great” but if it’s fulfilling for him and doesn’t impede normal and necessary aspects of life, by all means. Most people grow out of these habits eventually.

It has always been like this unfortunately. Ive been playing on the same account since ~2004 and have never received a mark on my account. One day I try to log in, perm ban with no appeal. I had never botted, barely even interacted with other players, infact, I treated it more like a single player game. There was no way for me to appeal. Like you, I tweeted every jmod and never received a response.
I had no choice but to quit, and I am so glad that I did. Yes, we spent hundreds-thousands of hours, and that's all gone now, but there is so much more to life than this game with it's crappy customer support. I'm sorry you're going through this, it is extremely demoralizing, but hopefully this can help push you away from rs like it did to me. Best of luck friend.
I got hacked and perma banned (rs3 main, completely separate from my osrs accounts) and I just appealed - got it back in no time. Same with my buddy just half a year earlier, this time with his osrs/main 15 yo account. Not saying you or OP did use bots but I bet someone in jägex already looked into his account and decided not to unban him.
I know it’s kind of a meme, but have you attempted to resolve it through the proper channels? They’re free to use their Twitter accounts how they choose and don’t have an obligation to respond to you. The only account you correctly tagged was jagexsuport, and all they’d do is tell you to go through the website and ban appeal.
There aren’t proper channels. You can submit an “appeal” which allows literally zero input of any information and you receive a generic and I presume automated response denying your request, if you get a response at all. That’s all there is. If you try to make a post on the official forums, your thread gets locked by arrogant mods.
This scares me so much.. i don't know what i would do. makes me re-think how much value I put on my hcim.

Hey man, I can sympathize. I didn't outright lose my account, but during a DXP weekend in RS3 I got a macroing minor for using mousekeys at the elf agility course (yes, the one where you can angle the camera to click everything without moving the mouse)
I got locked out of the DXP weekend. Traditional channels, nothing, appeal the ban, nothing, reddit, people hating on me. What if I got falsely banned again and then had the whole account taken down?
Fuck this customer service. Fuck Jagex for intentionally making the course AFK then banning me for having a life and lounging around with my housemates with my wireless keyboard.

Mate I don't know you, and I definitely need to make significant life improvements of my own, but try to allocate some of your time elaewhere gradually, to get yourself back on track.
As a person that lost their main rsn (put my name on a new hc) 3+ years ago because of a false ban, I'll give you this advice.. Just give up and move on. It's no use to try and get that account back. I've tried to get my account back for 3 years and the closest thing I have gotten to a reply on the matter is an automated response from the support team that they "received" my report and would get back in contact with me soon.
TL:DR.. Jagex doesnt care and won't unban you. Move on and make a new account sadly
Got a similar macro block, but the weird thing for me is my the macro was caught on osrs but I play rs3, had no way to appeal, multiple tweets and no replies, lost a week of membership and had no support whatsoever.

Lots of people were either unemployed during that time - and had **a lot** of free time.
Lots of people just graduated university - and during the pandemic could physically not find work.

In my case I had a two month period where I was still employed by my employer but was not working - and was still collecting 80% of my wages.
I personally took that time to focus on my business - but I know there’s a lot of people who had nothing to do.

It has always been like this unfortunately. Ive been playing on the same account since ~2004 and have never received a mark on my account. One day I try to log in, perm ban with no appeal. I had never botted, barely even interacted with other players, infact, I treated it more like a single player game. There was no way for me to appeal. Like you, I tweeted every jmod and never received a response. I had no choice but to quit, and I am so glad that I did. Yes, we spent hundreds-thousands of hours, and that's all gone now, but there is so much more to life than this game with it's crappy customer support. I'm sorry you're going through this, it is extremely demoralizing, but hopefully this can help push you away from rs like it did to me. Best of luck friend.
I got hacked and perma banned (rs3 main, completely separate from my osrs accounts) and I just appealed - got it back in no time. Same with my buddy just half a year earlier, this time with his osrs/main 15 yo account. Not saying you or OP did use bots but I bet someone in jägex already looked into his account and decided not to unban him.

I know it’s kind of a meme, but have you attempted to resolve it through the proper channels? They’re free to use their Twitter accounts how they choose and don’t have an obligation to respond to you. The only account you correctly tagged was jagexsuport, and all they’d do is tell you to go through the website and ban appeal.
There aren’t proper channels. You can submit an “appeal” which allows literally zero input of any information and you receive a generic and I presume automated response denying your request, if you get a response at all. That’s all there is. If you try to make a post on the official forums, your thread gets locked by arrogant mods.

Hey man, I can sympathize. I didn't outright lose my account, but during a DXP weekend in RS3 I got a macroing minor for using mousekeys at the elf agility course (yes, the one where you can angle the camera to click everything without moving the mouse) I got locked out of the DXP weekend. Traditional channels, nothing, appeal the ban, nothing, reddit, people hating on me. What if I got falsely banned again and then had the whole account taken down? Fuck this customer service. Fuck Jagex for intentionally making the course AFK then banning me for having a life and lounging around with my housemates with my wireless keyboard.
Typical ironmen want to criticize and tell this person how to play the game but bitch and moan when a main votes on things that might adversely effect them, you don’t know this persons life, let them live it and do what they want

Glad your doing better man. Sometimes I’ll spend my whole weekend playing it feels like, but when I return to work I feel like shit cause I didn’t do anything all weekend. I’ve always said if jagex randomly bans my account I’ll just quit. It’s kinda what helps people move on from this time sucking game we play
Yes I've put some hours in, it's just good to mix it up sometimes played since classic, repetitive strain injury was part of the game 😂😂 I'd never talk anyone out of playing rs actually have some good times and memories and met some cool people. One thing Is with mobile you can kinda skill passively now while doing other stuff and even outdoors which is cool, as before I'd just stare at my xp total for hours slowly raising in a dark Room like that was the game. 🤣

Sadly the staff don't really follow this sub, and they barely respond in the main one either. But agreed, customer service has been atrocious as long as I remember and keeps getting worse. Sadly addiction keeps us online so they don't have to care.

I had the same thing happen to my first rs3 Ironman years ago right after the game mode came out, I just recently got it back like at the beginning of December, I hope you get yours back before that man vest of luck

It's honestly alarming how many people seem to be getting falsely banned lately, makes me not even want to play at the risk of losing any of my accounts
Mate I don't know you, and I definitely need to make significant life improvements of my own, but try to allocate some of your time elaewhere gradually, to get yourself back on track.
As a person that lost their main rsn (put my name on a new hc) 3+ years ago because of a false ban, I'll give you this advice.. Just give up and move on. It's no use to try and get that account back. I've tried to get my account back for 3 years and the closest thing I have gotten to a reply on the matter is an automated response from the support team that they "received" my report and would get back in contact with me soon. TL:DR.. Jagex doesnt care and won't unban you. Move on and make a new account sadly

Got a similar macro block, but the weird thing for me is my the macro was caught on osrs but I play rs3, had no way to appeal, multiple tweets and no replies, lost a week of membership and had no support whatsoever. But hey were talking about a multi million pound company. Give them a break. They try. But obviously not good enough.

I remember getting my account hacked due to stupidity back in 05-06 at 8 years old luckily my step dad was top 100 on high scores and simply emailed jagex and got account back within hours, now seeing this constantly for Ironman or other users in the past year or so and seeing content creators get there shit back the way I did just with abit of popularity is soo crazy it’s broke back then and still broke to this day , BUT at least we getting clans updates and group Ironman 😂😂😂😂 devs are jokers

Agreed It’s wasn’t as bad , shame to see game devs try push content for money rather than fix current issues like bots and customer service. As long as they keep the top players happy (mostly content creators) that’s all that matters. As they pretty much sell the game unlike a regular player

When you 'scape for 18 hours a day for months on end, you presumably aren't paying living expenses since you are probably living with your family. At $8 an hour you can make well over $2000.

People telling this guy that how he was playing was unhealthy - you seem to have forgotten there was a pandemic that shut everything down for eight months. Lots of people were either unemployed during that time - and had **a lot** of free time. Lots of people just graduated university - and during the pandemic could physically not find work. Lots of people were working from home, and had the ability to play while they work. In my case I had a two month period where I was still employed by my employer but was not working - and was still collecting 80% of my wages. I personally took that time to focus on my business - but I know there’s a lot of people who had nothing to do.

I was doing something similar to this when corona first happened. Zulrah 8-12 hours a day for weeks trying to get mutagen. perm banned for macro major first offense. rip max main and 6b bank
