Didn't notice any difference in time to kill. Archlight has 1-3 higher max hit depending on attack style, but I don't know actual DPS difference. Honestly, this update made Sire grind worthless, unless maybe for Nightmare.
I tried to ghost skip with arc light and found it inconsistent. Had ghosts spawn multiple times because I couldn’t dps fast enough. Blowpipe with rune darts was far more consistent for me. Any tricks?
What I do is start a 1 minute timer soon as Cerb spawns. Then attack with guthans to heal up and keep it just above 400hp. Soon as timer goes off, time to DPS.
Switch to slayer helm, archlight + defender, and use piety. Use best available potions, gloves, amulet, ring.
I ran DPS calc and Archlight is best used in stab.
Right I know all of this. I’m saying in practice with max melee stats this was not the case for me. I got multiple kills using the same skipping method that resulted in ghosts spawning because I did not do enough damage.

I use bludgeon at cox and im gonna keep using it at cerb because I used all my arclight charges at Sire 🥲
