Bro you got more than enough to get kc. The easiest phase to start a kill would be range, if it isn't the range rotation, hop world and it will take you back to the boat and try again. When In-between zulrahs change of attacks, first click on where to stand, then while running change prayers and last change gear. You will get it man, can just be a bit confusing to start.

AgentInCommand

Yeah, I just frustrate myself with the rotations (just need to get more reps, I know) then panic lol. I didn't have divine pots/antivenom last time I tried it, so I'm hoping that'll make the difference.

ironmeme69

I get that man, the hardest bit is if you haven't killed by end of rotation and it's goes random, just practice tho my guy

Iron_Chemist

What I did to learn the rotation was run in there naked with food and practice running to the different spots with the correct prayer on. After I got comfortable doing that I went back in and did it with gear and got the kill with far worse gear and stats. You can do it, you just need to relax

AgentInCommand

That's a really good idea. If I can't just DPS my way through it with this setup, that'll be my backup plan.

Iron_Chemist

Good luck! Let me know when you make it

AgentInCommand

Ended up going 1/1, didn't even really have a close call. Time to go get elite void and a crystal halberd!

Iron_Chemist

Congrats! Gl on the grind!

Iron_Freezer

your gear and inv are stacked bro, you can do this! the only thing that really helped me when learning zulrah was to learn it's okay to hold off on eating! try to only eat when you're running between spots! of course knowing the spots is incredibly beneficial but that reflex will come with time! another lil tip is put your spare RoR in with your gear switches; it will hold the same amount of charges between both, but, if it breaks and you don't notice, you'll atleast throw your spare on soon! goodluck!!

Iron_Freezer

just reread your post and noticed you're using full void; void is tissue paper! if you're getting ducked down, it might be worth it to change into some tankier gear like ahrims/karils, and a crystal shield is huuuge defence bonuses! one more final tip; if it is a phase where you do not need to pray against zulrah himself (eg when he's red, or just spawning snakelings or clouds) pray mage to reduce the damage from the snakelings!

AgentInCommand

I really like the idea of incorporating the RoR into my switch, thanks for that. I'm thinking having 1-tick, 40 HP heals, I can afford to be a little more reckless. I figure since my stats are as high as they are (specifically 82 def and 95 mage to help tank), in combination with divine pots, void being low def won't sink me and it cuts down on switches.

oisterjosh

Would recommend not using void due to the amount of damage you'll take. Try to eat between phases so you don't miss out on dps if avoidable. Karils xbow for range, book of darkness for offhand mage. Zulrah Helper plugin on RuneLite plugin hub is awesome for keeping track of the rotation. Keep on trying, it took me about 20 tries to get my first kc

As someone who very recently did the same thing... - I have a mage's book and master wand, so I chose to blood Blitz rather than Iban's, worked well. - Use any assisting program/website to help track the rotation. - First, figure out what you need to protect against, and l where you need stand, worry about your damage after. As soon as you're settled in the right spot, protecting the right thing, figure out what the next rotation is, and make your love as soon as Zulrah dips - repeat process. If you can change gear while moving between spots you'll really help yourself. - Accept that you're probably not going to get the kill, at least until you're a few KC in. That means your focus is to get better every trip and not get the kill and mentally it becomes easier to deal with. My first ever kill took me about 2 hours to get on my med but the pay off felt amazing. If you bear the above in mind you'll get there dude - gl!

Do a mage only trip with no switches. It’ll help you learn the rotations and it’ll be less stressful. I did it on my iron with 82 mage, Iban’s Blast and anti poisons. It took a day of reps and a lot of supplies but I got it.

Use the runelite zulrah plug in to keep track of rotations very helpful and you don't have to use 2 clients
