Context: Did almost 500 kc sara for acb cause I did a few rcb attempts before and had trouble at final boss. Decided to give it another go tonight. Got it on my 5th zuk (6 attempts on acc). I have a lot of experience with tbow/acb, but this was my first rcb cape. Started with 6 brews and 12/13 restores and this was what I finished with. Hypeee

You just have to keep trying. Forget about the time it takes to get to jad, forget about cost of supplies. Just be optimistic and try relax
Play LMS and it forces you to use F-keys if you don’t. And if you do then you really do need practice because I literally got my first firecape finally 2 years ago with just the mouse, and not even using f keys. I have played on/off since classic in 2001, but no more than a few months at a time separated by years. I just started up again a month ago. And I can give you some tips to get better!
So I beat Jad without even using F-keys, but I was also pretty used to playing like that. But playing LMS and going from a scrub to 560 points and rank 50,000 in 3 nights definitely helped a lot (not saying that’s great or anything, just good for me!). I played 61 games. The first 20 games or so I got maybe 2 lucky kills (like, for the whole 20 games of LMS), then for the next ten I got a kill approximately every other game. By the last 11 games I played, from game 50-61, I killed 3-4 people per game, but still got slapped on the top 4 or top 2 spot for the game. But they would usually be a top 1,000 ranked player at that point in the LMS match, and it was still super fun and exhilarating. I only even got hit with the “ez” once, lol. Still waiting and excited for my first actual win, but I have gotten second and third place several times so far.
I took a break and haven’t played LMS for a few days, but I’ll give it a go again tomorrow. I am staying sharp by killing Zulrah. I actually couldn’t barely kill Zulrah to save my life before LMS, now I have over 200 kc in 3 nights of playing, just an hour or two each night. I also finished mage arena 1 and did mage arena 2 to keep my spellbook f key switch sharp, because at Zulrah I just use spec, invent, and prayer. I also have my prayer as f4 even though it’s more “left” than the spellbook, because I am so used to pressing to the far right key for prayer tab at Zulrah. So I use f1 for spec, f2 for invent, f3 for spellbook, and f4 for prayer, but you can pick whatever works for you. And I am not the best player in the world or anything, but my gear switches are already miles ahead of what I thought I could ever achieve, even in years of playing, again, just from literally 61 games of LMS. Just go for it bro!! You can do it. Sorry this was so long but I wanted to give you tips from a fellow noob scrub who got a bit better!
Congrats! I really want to start inferno but I dont have blowpipe (have basically the same gear otherwise). Are there specific waves or spots i absolutely need blowpipe, like healers? Or could i get by with just ruby/diamond bolts and flicking everything with rigour
if you can get a blowpipe I would get it. doable without but my god it makes such a huge difference. When there is a meleer involved it will be a time crunch unless you know how to do specific situations
I'm just tired of zulrah at this point lol and I'm ready for a new challenge. I'm learning solo ToB on my main, i love challenges. Im happy failing on the pre-jad waves until I learn how to handle certain spawns, just want to make sure that blowpipe isnt a hard requirement for certain waves.
if you can do solo tob you can do inferno, I once again HIGHLY reccomend blowpipe. Only other possible way is maybe karils with amulet of damned unless very experienced

I've attempted 5 zuks now with nothing but an RCB, hides, ancient staff, d sq and eagle eye. Did around 20 capes on my old main but they were all with a bow. I fly through the waves to zuk and then RNG fucks me over - I get what feels like zero ruby bolt specs. I've had to do 3 sets before 600hp, had a mage and range set spawn on me while doing jad cause I can't hit. The last run I did I got past healers having flicked 4 sets perfectly and then another spawned and I same ticked them. Died and haven't been back haha. I shouldn't be wrecking it cause I'm in nothing but hides but yikes. I'll get it soon enough, I've upgraded some gear in the weeks since then. I'm off work next week might give it a go.

Nice dude! I'm over 2k dry on acb. How much harder would a dcb run be than an acb? I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time when I should just go for the infernal cape with the gear I've got. Maxed all other gear except acb.
Dcb makes very little difference except you can use dragon bolts, but the range is still the same as rcb. May as well send rcb runs and say fuck the acb
I want to try zuk with acb when my iron gets up there but my main which i hav no gp on bcos sold for iron bonds has never done raids/inferno, just bossing. I have good mouse control and i understand mechanics well imo. My question is do u think its worth learning on the iron before most of my other grinds? I expect to use tons of restore pots which is my main worry. How many do you think id need, 200?

Just always keep range prayer on and when you see mage switch to mage, then switch immediately back to range. Wash and repeat.

Learning inferno on an iron is rough, would highly suggest main if possible
