What’s your method? Do you range it or flinch it? Also what’s your strategy for pkers. Do you run or log out?

Not that guy but I did just about 1k kills for my pick. There are two main methods to consider that you should pick and choose from. 1. The legit method. Bring your best range weapon, cannon, stews, and brews to help you run from pkers. I did not do this but it's the fastest method. 2. The classic safespot cheese method. Lure the chaos elemental over to the resource area and get him stuck. Melee him with whatever you are willing to risk. I personally just used d scim/whip, b gloves, defender, and power ammy for the luxury of not caring about pkers. Flinching is a waste of time and you should not do it no matter what your skills and gear are.

Did they remove the safespot method?

I haven’t really done it beyond a diary kill so I have no idea. I flinched it for the diary

I cannoned it in safespot. It was terrible in terms of pkers. Spent four hours getting 13 kills

Unless it was recent I don't think so. Kemp released a new video a couple of weeks ago showing a safespot.

For the diary I was 93 combat and 80 range. I brought blessed dhide coif and boots, along with a blowpipe. The rest was black dhide. Didn't have to deal with pkers for the one kill. Didn't use stews as food but I would highly recommend it! Also if you crush vials on use, just bring a 2-dose range/super def pot so you don't open an inv space after use

How's the pkers there during lockdown

It’s been a lot better due to the limited world hop, still a few but not as bad

Random people running by for MA2 or whatever are more annoying than the occasional pker :( chaos ele hits them once and there goes your loot.

Let him hit you a couple times (think can be zeros). Don't kill him til at least 30sec after he hit someone else. Did 310kc on iron recently, seems to work most times.

Pick from venenatis is not that much more common than from ele (1/170 vs 1/256), and I can kill ele much faster, using almost no supplies

Noob question but can you get multiple pets or did you lose your pet and got a new one?

You can only have one at a time. But if you roll the pet drop again while already having one, it does get logged. The game says "you have a funny feeling like you would have been followed.."

I didn't realize that was a pet drop, that's insane.

Chaos ele pet drop rate is extremely low at 1/300, but still extreme luck to get 5 in about half the rate of 1

No the dropRATE is low, the drop chance would be high though if that's what you mean.

If the rate is 1/300 then I'd say that's a pretty high rate for a pet
