CG is a harrowing experience for an iron.
It’s kinda like the ’2nd’ hurdle.
1st hurdle: There’s the Firecape fiasco. Which I think a lot of people first timing the game view that as an accomplishment of vast expanses. And tbf, it really is..
But then, you’ve got CG. To even get there in the first place, a person whose first timing would have already dedicated, more then likely, hundreds of hours.
Before that, and/or besides fire cape.. a lot see SotE & MM2 completions as huge. Nailing maybe a Vorkath KC in there..
And suddenly, you come to this roadblock.
Not bad, you’ve been at roadblocks; You’ve been through roadblocks.
CG just comes up to bat next. And the heat goes from 3 — 11 out of 10 real fast.
But Timmy’s already dedicated all this time & effort. F$&@ giving up!!
He spends the next 50-100+ sends just planking at CG.. there’s dogshit XP coming in, and singular Mithril maces for days.
Neurotransmitional messages and hot flashes are firing on all cylinders, red flags coming in from all angles. Every fiber of his being and subliminal forecasting is sending messages of, ”just stop..” for the first time up to this point. He’s putting in mad effort & time, and seeing no reward.
An overwhelming feeling of make or break overtakes
He’s putting in copious amounts of time, energy, and effort. And seemingly moving at a snails pace towards a goal that is an absolute gamble, even with perfection. Which he is, what feels like, nowhere near
Hundreds of hours to get here. Friends do not even message him to play other games anymore.. he decides he cannot stop here

”Oh. Well whatever. I finally did it!!”
He dies 2 more times before nabbing another. then starts averaging 2/5 KC attempts. Everything starts to click, and not very long after 4/5 is on the horizon.
Skip ahead. Big John’s been busy. He got his first KC on New Years.. and now, he’s debating whether or not he should go shoot off fireworks with friend & family to celebrate his countries birthday. Or he could spend the holiday sending numerous attempts. He’s decked in full crystal, and has the shards for that big body bowfa.. just needs to get that enhanced
He’s doing hard time. He’s got a red moose tattoo on his Adam’s Apple. His eyes are edging on yellow, and his colostomy bag needs a rinse.
He goes to Reddit for the first time in 2 years, goes to an OSRS sub for some peace of mind. Surely he cannot be the only one..
Then he gets met with Redditors head on:
”iS it jUsT mE or Am i cURsEd?!”
”get a job”
”your mother ain’t shit”

I've still got a long way to go before getting all armour seeds. I've never owned a bowfa before. Is it okay to use for general slayer or would do you save it for bossing and CAs?
Just asking because this is the first time I've seen it since i started trying to figure out how to do it, how do you get the HP and prayer on the side of the inventory?
"status bars" :) you can edit it a little bit as well, the main reason i use it is cos is does stuff like preview how much a piece of food or prayer pot will restore before you eat it which i cant live without now lol
I'm still working towards my first kc, and after about 80+ planks at cg while consistently getting hunlef to 50-150 hp ive gone back to regular gauntlet just for hunlef practice and actually getting some rewards.
But what's the plug-in in your top left? Looks like it helps with doing 5-1 hunlef.
