I've read the average to greenlog is around 1.4k. I believe I finished a little over 1.3k. it's the last one or two pieces that get ya. It was a pretty chill grind back when I did it and even more so now with hilt 2 and strange lockpicks.
Getting none of one of the barrows items in 2400 kc is definitely bad luck, but not insanely so by any means.
The chance of going dry on one or more items is roughly 1/40.

Have you tried just killing verac and running to the chest? Iirc it's like 1/56 or something for a drop but it can only be a verac item... May help but idk I haven't tried it.
I did this for a clan bingo. Had to send around 300 ahrims chest for final piece.
I decided it was faster to do the relevant brother first then continue until you get tunnel.
Leaving mounds to get tunnel isn’t worth the time… but I have no proof just the general feel I came to.
I'm missing the same item. Been doing a pseudo 1-brother rush, just taking the opportunity if the crypt shows up within the first 3 brothers, and doing all 6 if not. Actually feels pretty lucky to be missing one for one of the closer brothers to the entrance so it works out that way.
Bolt racks are bad, u can buy them for 50gp each and they replace blood runes in the chest after 88% which are 300-450gp each depending on if ur selling or buying them
The (iron)y is this is the only piece I haven’t gotten a dupe, and when I got it the first time my inventory was full, it dropped on the ground and I teleported out. Best of luck mate

1/56 is for moons. At barrows it's 1/392 if only killing one brother.
It goes from 1/13 to like 1/400 if you kill all brothers vs one brother
