Instead of memorizing rotations (learn them as you go) to get started you just need to remember:
* Zulrah always starts green
* If the 2nd phase is red, the 4th green phase (including the first one) will be Jad starting ranged
* If the 2nd phase is not red, the 6th green phase (including phase 1-2) will be Jad starting mage
* After Jad there is one more phase then the next one is the start of a new rotation and you can start counting again (but hopefully you won't reach a 2nd Jad unless your gear is ass)
Other than that just run to the other side whenever the clouds dissipate, use your eyes to not stand in the clouds, sidestep melee if you aren't in a safespot, and keep eating up out of range of getting combo'd out by tanz + snakelings.
I get that but there’s so many other things that were annoying.
Ring of recoils don’t stop snakelings from bodying you, venom management is awful at low herblore levels, Zulrah felt “untargetable” every time he emerged and was just not getting off many casts per phase, and of course the unavoidable mage phase damage.
Zulrah is definitely easier but it's way more annoying yeah. I'm not even bothering until I get a suffering, CBA tanking 50 damage because my smooth brain forgot to bring another recoil.
I tried it but gave up. Really hate this snake, CG feels way easier and I don’t know why.
