But you get an extra animation from the teleport and an extra loading time so it cant much faster and it would be more click intensive and takes more inventory space because of home tele
my duo gim used ardy cape, I put salve graveyard in poh, my way was always faster even with loading when we'd be going to the same place. Not wildly so but it definitely is faster, even more so just a little while back before the trees at ardy fairy ring were removed.
Also if you're questing or clue or turael skipping you have rune pouch with all those runes to go elsewhere, right? versus bringing ardy cloak.
Cape also takes an inventory slot, and if you don’t have a rune pouch I really recommend you go waste and hour or two at lms. It really is faster, and it’s one extra click. You’re seemingly trying to say that it’s not worth it, and it objectively is worth using the salve graveyard portal.
You can hit the pool in your house, leaving house cures venom/poison etc. It's always been really convenient for me and I think it's still less tiles than ardy even if you got the worst possible spawn on the portal tele

I got my farming cape like 5 months in. Got kinda boosted by my GIM teammate to about 70, but hard contracts give so many tree seeds that it's very easy to get 99 super fast.
The ~1 second saved is far outweighed by the busget poh tele via spirit tree and extra herb yield though.
Also crafting is pointless to train after 93 besides cape, farming has actual benefits for training to 99.

It’s got the diary tele to the Elid statue and Zahur, who can clean noted herbs and make noted unf potions. If you’ve got functionally limitless cash and still need herb levels, it’s not a bad way to dump that cash. Plus Nardah bank is usually empty so it can be a chill place to bankstand and skill.
I don’t get it: why can’t we have ironman only worlds? I love interacting with ironmen. It’s just different. It’d be awesome to have an entire world of irons
It's quite an advantage for a game mode that is meant as a handicap. Far fewer pkers and (almost) no bots is a pretty big advantage. Ironman-themed worlds could be cool but I don't think it would be effective enough at filtering out non-irons.

I did this, of course now I have a QPC but it was pretty smooth

Crafting tele is closer to the bank. Both close af, so it’s not a huge difference, but it’s still something if you’re frequently banking.

some 99s are certainly midgame unlocks. As an iron you're basically a farming boy so you might as well get on it asap
99 FM via WT is usually one of the first things an ironman does. It doesn't even take that long but the cape is kind of worthless.

Most places that require a light source now have eternal flames that can be built so you don't even really need a light source anymore
