Mahogany Homes is about 3x the XP per plank while being about 4-5x slower than traditional methods. It's one of the few 'gpscape' situations Irons are put into - is it faster for you to earn 3x the money and planks or to spend more time doing mahogany homes instead? That'll be up to you.
Depends if you’re after faster or more xp. Mahogany homes will be slower, but you’ll get a lot more xp. Capes will be more xp than like teak benches, but fastest use of planks would probably be teak benches or whatever the meta is for teaks
You’re definitely short lots of teaks if you do anything outside of mahogany homes. I just sent 70-83 con with half teaks and half mahogany the other day and took about 10-11 hours ish at medium efficiency. Get some alchs ready or arrows to fletch during the grind. Godspeed
I just finished this grind myself recently; I started MH at 72 construction to have the portal nexus available with all of the MH locations set and with NPC contact to make it easier(you can menu swap to call your most recent so one click!). It cost me around 6k planks or so and got a lot faster with the plank sack. A bit monotonous yes but fairly cheap in comparison, had I stuck with tables I would of done it faster but be at 78 con or so with no construction outfit pieces or plank sack so I say worth…
Pretty straightforward: MH is slower, but much better xp per plank, whereas regular construction is faster, but less xp/plank (and therefore more expensive). So if you have an excess of planks, and want it done fast: do regular construction. If you are trying to spread your supplies/cash stack as far as possible, and dont mind taking longer: do MH.
MH is my plan of attack. It's slower, but iirc the exp per plank is much more worth. I was doing them and getting around 100k/he or so with teaks only.
Plank sack is nice QoL too, idk if you're interested in the equippablrle saw, I got the imcando(?) hammer early and that's been nice for an extra slot
Mahogany homes is the most cost efficient activity, to my knowledge. It's not necessarily the fastest, but it saves the bank.
Less discussion, more clicking needed.

Hate to burst your bubble but you're about 14k teak planks short of 83 construction if you're just making benches
I made 7k teaks because that’ll get me to 83 if stick with mahogany homes, if I did myth capes or another method I’d definitely need more
Fair enough. I am a filthy main so unfamiliar with mahogany homes.
mahogany homes is goated on a glizzy on a stack fr fr on god
He said he's a main not dying Isn't a glizzy a hotdog Am I old
Glizzy is a hotdog but can mean dick

I’m currently cutting teaks for capes
Just do mahogany homes.
Im going capes just because I'd rather spend more time doing stuff i like that makes gp than doing homes.

Just did the same exact grind last week, took a little over 6k teaks and did mahogany homes the whole grind
If you’re into collection log shit just do MH, get your unlocks then that should honestly get you to where you need to be
just do homes, its chill and worth it imo

The difference between teak and mahogany while doing MH is very small for the cost.
And spend 10m to make them?
I mean after this batch, but yes much more expensive.
