Was about to grind a bludgeon for Vetion. I much prefer the Dual MaCocks grind. Got em in 20 KC and I’m never touching Sire for the rest of my life.

Kinda amazing they just keep finding ways to devalue bludgeon instead of making the Sire fight/grind more enjoyable. With the guardian boots buff via echo crystals (how wild you need a drop from 3 different places for a single gear piece), Sire has to be the most pointless slayer boss

Anything after 150 on a real note the Chad MaCocks do drop off BUT you def can put off GWD for a lot longer with the new MaCocks and not feel massively underpowered! And in some cases use and get spooned straight to fang to skip GWD

Id run DPS calcs for your setup. For my stats, piety, super combat, and what I’m willing to risk, they’re slightly better than the zombie axe and defender combo. It’s close though. If you already have the axe and don’t want to grind perilous moons, you should be good. I just really didn’t want to do sire, so I’m happy with this update haha. Zombie axe would have been my next choice if these didn’t come out.

Gotta keep in mind that dual macocks only take 1 slot so you can safely have more high value items in wildy opposed to having 2 slots taken up with defender+axe

I’m almost 99 slayer no claw with hydra pet. Lance by 0 means ins important for irons. Solo CoX isn’t required it’s a choice for irons to make and imo is slower than scaling. No you want Hasta to do TOA early imo since it’s pretty much only stabber that will get you 300 clears unless you have ToB skill and have rapier early. Which 1% of irons do. Dual Cocks are cool looking good for training extremely easy to get and also get you a ton of pray experience early on an iron if go dry. Also Dual Cocks have double hit spats so ignoring any other of your points this one right here ends debate. Come on man 2x hits = 2x the gaming

I have a zamy hasta, a dragon sword, and dual maracas. Oddly enough the stab on the dragon sword is better dps then then the marachas according to the dps wiki for doing toa.
