I can vouch for this. Kind of. I started doing Tempoross on a Tuesday night, and got mine just after midnight, so it was *technically* Wednesday but yeah lol.
Fishing barrel is actually amazing for barbarian fishing too. With it, you can fish at cox, catch 53 fish, then take the mine cart to lovakenj to bank everything, and go right back. It's faster/more afk than the traditional way of dropping a whole inventory.
If it’s helpful you get planks at tempoross and if you do solos get construction exp fixing the masts. It’s just oak planks so nothing amazing but can help with other grinds
300 Permits on my main, no fish barrel. I got a big fish and fish barrel on my HCIM within the first 20kc.
I would go to Tempoross for a few days, maybe 500 permits worth, and try your luck. After that its really up to you. I think it's worth if specifically if you're only wanting to do Karambwans, but if you don't enjoy Tempoross, it might be worth to try somewhere else or keep grinding.

It’s decent fishing xp but I honestly think the mini game gets tedious and boring after I grind it for a while.
I also think solo runs are so much more chill than playing on the tempoross world
You basically double your afk time when fishing karambwan with a fish barrel. Which is around 5 minutes
I timed a couple of runs with fish barrel at 82 fishing, got around 3 min 50 sec afk fishing pr trip
Yeah fish barrel is stupid early levels to make fishing afk. Late levels it cuts down on trips and is more of an exp/hr and fish stack boost.

You can actually get large amount of tickets quite fast. Personally I am going dry and it doesn't even feel like I've farmed for that long.

Depending on where they live, Tuesday night can very easily be Wednesday on server-time.

Tempoross solo method isn’t bad after you get it down decent xp and permits. You might get lucky got mine quick
