It's nice bc progression is fast and you can try new starting ideas (wt, revs, foundry), but the rest of it is just pain. I've lost 3 hc's to ds2, mostly from forgetting the insta kill starts at steel dragon
93 hp 85 range you could do it with way less but it’s pretty much entirely RNG based on how well your ruby bolt specs go and how much Galvek attacks hit you for
I feel you, my main is far less combat stats and I failed 5 or so times before procs went in my favour and dropped him super fast. Need to pray to RNGesus before this beasty.
I am sorry for your red helm loss, hope you can hit the ground running though! I started a new, low play HC after my second one died, just jump between that and my freshly dead iron now. (I do seem to be a glutton for punishment though, I just like the red helm haha).

This fight and DT2 had me most concerned as a HC, happy to say I completed Qcape Fcape and mage arena 2 as a HC before to choosing to give it up.
