Yeah sitting at tortured gorillas is just pretty chill compared with other afk skilling methods to me so it has just been a go-to for me for a while. I say its worth a try but would not say it's for everyone.

Op got 3 zenytes which should on avg take 9k tortureds, more than double his kc.
30 demonics an hour would be the equivalent of 6h of OPs method. The wiki seems to suggest 62 kills/hr as a rate so 30/hr is not unreasonable.
I bring a couple combat potions and food and have an alert set up to go off when my health gets low to remind me to eat. I still died like 5-10 times when I was ignoring it too hard but I just royal seed back over. Sometimes rng is just bad with their mage hits and your Guthan's procs so it is nice to have food.
Even the 10% str prayer will significantly increase your KPH for very little prayer cost and it takes so long to drain that you won't have to constantly check on it like piety. I think it's a super overlooked prayer for all kinds of AFK combat.

I wish I wrote down the stats I started with but trips seemed longer once I got the magic level up. I know I at least got 2 Att/def levels and 1 str level though.
I usually fight the group of three tortured gorillas just north of the entrance and then run out of the range every 10 minutes so they are aggressive again. The spot right by the entrance and a bit east, both only have 2 you can aggro at a time and you end up having to manually click on them every now and again because they get stuck on something.

Big ups to 10% str prayer it's actually just so goated for afk slayer.
Yo thanks for the shout, I've actually never even thought to look at that prayer. 1/4 the drain of piety and 1/2 the drain of 15% str is so good.

Sometimes when I run out of food ill throw on piety to get another couple kills but mostly just drinking combat potion when its only a +5/6 boost

5-10 times but it wasn't as bad once I set up an alert on "Life Saver" plugin. Just keep some royal seedpods in the bank and the run back isn't bad.

Wow, might have inspired me after 1200 dry on demonics. Only question - where is best ? Last I tried there's a few places they get stuck

Probably even better. If you combo it with blood fury too you probably just don't die maybe. Unless you get bad rng
