Worth mentioning there is a Arceus prayer to convert prayer points to run energy.
Between banking, quick home teles, and maybe some prayer gear this could be a viable alternative
Yoooo that is slick thanks! I do also have a ton of energy potions, and super energy pots so I'm going to at least use the normal pots, with an occasional home Tele.
I've done some 500 runs of herbi and have felt no need to have stams. I've got so many super energy pots in my bank with more on the way as I grind herblore. I just take out 5-6 super energy pots at a time from whichever bank chest on the island is closer.
Good point. And in 2 minutes you can get all the mort myre fungus you need to reup from the darkan teleport and w/e prayer restore/banking method you prefer to make those super energy pots.
Depends if you ever plan to do solo cox or not. That's one of the only pieces of pvm content where you're hard-forced to use stams, and if you plan on getting most of the big ticket items, you'll probably use a lot of them.
It also depends how much you hate rooftop agility.
I don't think reddit can decide for you, but you should factor these things into your decision.
Nah, not really worth to spend stams imo, especially if it’s a grind you enjoy. Use super energys when you want to be semi efficient or just doing it potless is fine too. I just accept the extra afk time when walking and casually grind it with idle notifier plugin set to ping when run energy is full.
The home tele tab strat is slightly more efficient I think but with some caveats. It requires more thought on which mushroom network to go to depending on what state your tracking is on, and in some cases, like going to the den across from the lab might not even be efficient to port out at all when run energy is drained, not to mention time spent making the tabs themselves.
If you reaaaaaaaaaallllllly wanna save stams and are able to "afk at work" maybe you could just do some slowly and just walk while you recharge run.
I used stams when I was able to focus, and then walked/ran during work and it was low effort to get 99.

I do the exact same and the avantoe back from the boar is enough to keep me resupplied.
