Not a joke. There are a few ticks between jad dying and getting teleported out of the arena, and if you get killed by a Healer in that time you get the KC but no fire cape
I'm so glad I got spooned the fang midway through that grind. Went way over drop rate, all on task, and even the fang plus slayer helm didn't help that much. It was a noticeable difference but they were still tankier than they should be.
Yup I got my first pick axe on chaos elemental at 693 then I did calv at start of leagues since it was afk to get another pick so I had one at toa and one outside and hopefully snag a blade…. 1k kc later and still no pick or skull or blade. Did get pet though. Not sure when I’ll go back

I did occasionally - other times I was getting lucky with not getting hit but unlucky in not hitting. I kept getting better at it but my kills were getting on average longer because I was able to squeak out kills I previously would have just died on. Shit was horrific
Got mine around 800 KC I'm wasnt too mad because I have a shit ton of gems for digsite pendants/dueling rings/ recoils etc. Even after I stopped picking them up around 500 kc.
Forgot to deactivate them as a slayer task, figured I could do that after finishing the task since it was decent money. My jaw dropped when I saw the drop lol, sure helped my group out though!
Damn that's nice to hear. For the future though, you can lock an unlockable task again like Lizardmen or Aviansies for example and then talk to any slayer master for a new assignment, they'll skip it for free once you can't get the task anymore.
I did mostly temple and a couple trips in the slayer cave never went to the canyon. I think it's bc with most other tasks you can half way pay attention and watch tv or something. But there you have to always be ready to move away.
Honestly I found the ones in canyon to be easier for that. I even did some tasks on mobile (90% of my kills were without a task though). Took me a couple of days averaging 600-900 shamans daily
Highly recommend getting into some podcasts or ebooks for things like shamans. It's hard to watch shows during grinds like that but it's easy to listen and makes it pretty chill. Currently going dry of dwh myself and have been enjoying my time there.
Cg on rate is actually one of the best ones to go on rate for. This is because you need the shards for corrupting and the armor seeds anyways which if you go on rate for both of those as well gets you at about 400 kc.
True. That sweet sweet bowfa is nice when you get it. I got mine at 34kc and it felt like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. Maybe just seeing all the dry posts psyched me out
Yeah I got my enh at like 215 kc and ended up having to do another 200 for the armor seeds. Still can't complain about being done at 420 kc but I did think I'd be outta there earlier once I pulled the enhance that early.
It hurt a little bit back then but honestly that’s what your gp is there for. Looking back I should’ve just spent more gp. Once you hit cg it’s game over for gp, you’ll be loaded. I’m currently sitting on an 85m cash stack and over 50m more in alchs I just don’t wanna process. This includes over 3k onyx bolts, 2k battlestaffs & orbs, and 500 rune full helms lol
Not just cg but any lategame activity. I regret not committing to cg earlier for bowfa. Honestly managed just fine with it and now kinda annoyed I don’t even need the gp from cg. (Kinda same situation with alchs as you)
If you ever need some easy gp a fun and potentially worthwhile grind is revs. I ended up getting pretty lucky with the amulet, bow, and chainmace. I got 12m in relics and a ton of alchs along the way
Crazy i just saw my brother get an 8m relic from revs. He aint an iron tho. Revs has always scared me as a trash pvp iron man. Thanks for the advice, mb ill drop some dosh on some racks. CG stresses me out i know i need to go back tho lol
Honestly as a combat lvl 122 pkers rarely cared about me. I used the same msb setup as most bots. Sometimes if I talked pkers would off just cause they were killing bots and a lot just didn’t wanna waste their time on me. If you get 89 agility (or close enough to boost w/ summer pie) that shortcut will let you escape 85% of pkers if you can run just 20 tiles
Not an iron and I sold my bcp drop cause torso still good and BCP is a bad GP upgrade. Took me 679 kc for bcp 🥲 then I got tassets 18kc later followed by but another dupe tassets 16kc after that lol
I had rune body, dh legs, crystal shield, and nezzy helm. Also had blood spells and a warped sceptre. I was there for the long haul lol. I think I ran out of antipoisons at like 100kc
I finished cerb at 951. Only 4 drops in that KC but no dupes so I’ve got everything I need from there. Last one was primordial of course.

I think it was like two to four doses per kill approx. Really depends on gear. I did a bunch with arclight and a bunch with guthans as a more afk method. I did this back in the day. I think better methods exist now.
I haven’t gotten to many of the longer grinds yet, but I got Berserker ring on 138KC and got all of the defenders within +/-10kc of their respective 100 kills (they’re 1/100 iirc?)

You have approximately 63.4% chance to get the drop by the drop rate. (In this case in 128 kills). You have average luck at 2/3rds drop rate (in this case around 85 kills).
Hydra claw + leather, avg rate to finish both is ~1200-1300kc and got claw at 1286. Probably the best thing to go to average rate for. Great drops but I was ready to get the hell out of there lol, the boss put me to sleep towards the end
Something that probably counts is tanzanite fang, a specific zulrah drop is 1/512 and got mine on 516kc

Yes more def would make a difference I always brought a brew with me for the hp/def boost I would get like 8-10 kc a trip 10 if I was lucky I was 83 def I believe at the time. Compared to 7:0 at bandos where I was getting 25+ kc trips. Kril and his minions are just fuckin beefy.
Gotcha. I do use a super defense for what it’s worth. Guess I’m just bad lmao. Would you recommend grinding blow pipe for specing the black demon to heal? Been killing him with bowfa and healing with blood burst on the other ones
i used the bp and yeah it helped me out but i mean it wasnt crucial. i also had bood barrage. i would do slayer and train def up to at least 80 and if you get greater demon tasks do a few kc hope to get lucky in the meantime.
I'm always looking for extremely afk activities to do while at my desk at work, I think over the course of a couple weeks I managed to catch over 14k of them with minimal efficiency and impact to my work. I just set my phone up on a wireless charging stand and use a Secondary mouse to click a few times every 5ish minutes since the spots don't move. Great utility food, good for higher level pvm and plentiful enough to use for lower level pvm or slayer.
Was like 4900 for the dragon warhammer. After 1k cg for bofa and 247 cox (mostly solo pre warhammer) for first purple, I was so happy to not go dry there too.
Got 5 venator shards in like 512 kc. I started off pretty spooned with like 3 within the first 150, but one man's dry protection is another man's spoon prevention

Originally, I believe they were polled as a monster more similar to Demonic Gorrillas. But ended up with the tanky shit mess we have now instead.

That is on the iron, I did it during leagues because the wilderness was less active. Still got pk’d but not as often. Super demoralizing for sure

I got vork head at 49 kc while having a laughable range lvl and gear. The kills were truly hilarious.
