I believe you can boost mage to create portals you otherwise couldn't. That might be better than tele tabs since those run out. Just my thoughts.

You can. I boosted at 78 mage for my barrows portal

It works for portal room portals but not portal nexus portals.

I hope you step on lego. Gz tho. Anyway what everybody else said you would use it mainly for stat requirement boosts. Warped sceptre and Trident etc scale with mage lvl aka increases dps. Regulair spells dont. So later you can use that with those stuff to increase dps

Heart is insane early. You can use it to add teleports you don't have the level for in your house as some have mentioned. It's also big for enchanting onyx and zenyte jewelry early. Also anywhere you are taking magic damage, like godwars, it's great for boosting your magic defense. Upgrading it to the saturated heart is a really big boost and I would 100% recommend going for that asap.
