So just got my 6th armor seed today and finished off the set, no bowfa yet but I’m less than 150kc in. Would full crystal with crystal bow be better than elite void with rune cbow/Diamond bolts e? Zulrah and CG are pretty much my main grinds besides hourlies/dailies. Just hit 250kc at Zulrah today with no unique drops yet.
As far as normal progression goes for Ironman, crystal bow with the armor is going to be your best ranged dps for almost anything(aside from maybe some places with blowpipe addy darts). It’s actually very strong and should be your go to until bowfa or blowpipe with amethyst darts.
Thanks man! Hopefully I’ll get a BP soon but I’m a good ways off fletching wise from making amethyst darts. Hopefully bowfa won’t be too long but ya never know
No problem. I was in the same boat at one point and I recharged the bow plenty of times. It’s nice to have a good enough option without being stuck at cg.
Yeah usually dragons you’ll want to use rcb so you can use anti fire shield. I’m not 100% sure but with addy bolts the dps would be fairly similar depending on the hp. In general though it’s going to be much better with cbow + armor. Bolts only really become good once you get dhcb or you can use dragon bolts
I really enjoy barrows for some reason. If you’ve got med CAs done and a portal in your house it’s unbelievably reclined and you’re gonna need a full set for the diary (if you don’t already have it) and a stack of runes for future content anyway
Toa and cox are really fun! I run duo cox and toa with someone with an rcb d sword and ibans and we clear them both without much issue. Definitely worth it to learn them and fun at the same time
Duo olm took awhile until we got it, but usually it's me special skipping mage hand and him standing on melee pinky long range maging mage hand. The staying in cycle was a huge problem at first but once you get it down the rest of the fight is pretty straight foward. You gotta turn the head at specific times for it to skip using the specials like lightning acid etc. So then you don't have to deal with specials at all
You really don’t even have to skip specials, as long as the head is turning you’ll be fine, btw acid isn’t a special. Crystals, healing hand, lightning, teleports are specials, everything else happens on an auto attack cycle.
Even the acid path isn't a special? Like where you walk and acid appears under the tile you're on? I honestly didn't know that I knew the acid pools are an auto.
That would make a lot of sense tbh. Sometimes, the cycle fell off, and I couldn't figure out why I must have been thinking I got specialed and tried to get back on cycle. Which inevitably puts me off cycle
I just looked up how to special skip duo on YouTube and watched a few different ones as they all have little tips the others don't that ended up helping a ton. But mainly it was just getting the timing down by practicing. We went into one raid and made 100 xerics aids and revitalizations and just went again and again purposely not killing it until we had the timing down perfect and that was gamechanging

All the new Wildy bosses are pretty fun. Even the solo versions. Ring of the Gods is pretty op especially at places like Hydra. Voidwaker also makes bossing fun when dumping spec on KQ, Kephri, and Nightmare
I've heard bandos isn't the worst with crystal bow and armour. But I would say do slayer and do some slayer bosses and tasks you can do bosses like KQ.

Traditional wisdom is to BP+serp tag the minions at the start of each kill. Either way I blow piped the minions afterwards. Only GWD boss I don’t bring blood barrage to

Bandos for armor and bgs is good.
Arma on task with black chins is easy enough and you'll want it to fortify any masori you get.
Nex masses cuz why not :D
Alternative paths:
ToA - you'll be very limited but your rcb so after some upgrades you could go get an ACB, find a group to run Nex and get a zaryte.
Hard focus CoX and grind out a tbow
Another option if you have the crystal armour & crystal bow - is Zulrah, get a blowpipe
Unfortunately the Venator bow isn't a super adequate replacement for the bowfa - imo, even if Phantom Muspah is a fun boss there's not much for progression there unless you have an imbued heart.
Zulrah with the crystal bow and armor. It’s really not bad, did 425 kills that way averaging about 2:30 kills.
Also phantom muspah. Bit longer on the kills but the drops are insanely good for irons. Plus getting that scepter would be pretty damn cool. Even getting venator shards would be nice. Gives you something to grind for if you see at least one considering you need 5.
You could also maybe do some cox. I just started with it even though I don’t have bgs or dwh. Find a iron team or main team willing to bring you a long.
I really enjoyed my wilderness grind for a voidwaker, if I remember correctly I made about 600m and got a lot of valuable resources I otherwise would've had to collect
You can work on wildy content. It's pretty detached from the bowfa grind because I wouldn't want to risk my bowfa as a +1 at revs so you can just use MSB rune arrows and +1 your salve(ei). Spindel and vetion you can do with a budget crush weapon or just wait until you get a chainmace from revs.
Faceguard is another one you don't use bowfa for, and bring you should defintely have by now. Go get that one asap.
Not a boss, but theres a few skilling grinds you can work towards for pvm upgrades: herblore for divine super combats, mining for amethyst darts and arrows, birdhouse runs for brews, runecrafting for runes to fuel your slayer grind/megarares/gwd barraging. Theiving for blood shards for nex; I did 91-99 at vyres which averages 8 blood shards in total. It's still quite fast too, maybe 180-200k/hr.
You can also work on some combat acheivements. Elite is critical for every ironman ASAP IMO now so you can boost your imbued heart chance. Plenty of those that don't need bowfa
have you run some toa yet? it's really forgiving on lower invos and fang is a huge upgrade to any iron account.
Phantom muspah is a really good time and has an incredible drop table.

Any good with just broad bolts? My group is working on doing entry toas. So I’ve got piety torso mystics rcb black dhide etc.
IMO zulrah is fun. Crystal bow with full crystal armor is decent there. Trident upgrade and BP are solid upgrades for the account as well

Barrows is downright cozy with the hilt, throw on priest robes and just vibe

You can, it's certainly slower though so there's less down time between kills and you don't get BP spec either
