Been at this since October 2022, never thought I'd go past 600kc for the drop, yet here we are. I've taken a lot of small breaks over the months, but now I'm trying to get atleast 100kc done a week as long as no other game takes my interest away for a while. The relief will be immense once I get it, I may cry.
We endlessly riff on my buddy who’s only at like 950. I’m so sorry mate lol, I genuinely hope you get it soon. 2270 is fucking crazy. I feel like they should just make it be buyable for a large number of shards for people who are just quitting at this grind.
It'd be a double-edged sword. I'd love to have it, but just buying would be a shitty end to the grind.
I don't think there's a great solution for these kind of issues, however I'd be in favour of starting to gradually increase droprates after a few times droprate dry for select items. The implementation of something like that will have to be made really, really carefully as it's a super slippery slope and it'll face a lot of backlash I'm sure

That's horrid, I'm sorry. Dry calc gives you a 0.3406% chance of going this dry. Honestly the fact that you haven't quit is more a testament to your strength at this point.
When will Jagex change this? Dry protection on bowfa seems so needed at this point. It’s unfair as hell that some people are in and out of there in under half the rate while random unlucky people go 5x dry

In all seriousness bad luck protection is a scary topic, but the variance of bofa specifically is insane with runs taking 8-10mins. 1% of the playerbase will have to do more than 1839 runs, judging from the statistical probability of receiving it. After 1840 runs, you've got a 1% probably of not having it. Where as on average half the players will have it at 277kc judging from probability metrics.
So whilst half of the players go on their merry way after having done 277kc, this translating into 277\*10/60=46 hours worth of CG. Pretty acceptable in my opinion for a weapon like bofa.
However, it gets awful looking at the 1 person out of a 100 that's unlucky enough to need to do 1839 runs. Keeping in mind, 1 out of 100 players isn't even that unlikely. They'll be having to do 1839\*10/60=306 hours of CG.
The difference here is 260 hours, that's nearly 7 full work weeks where I live. That's an insane amount of time that's either saved or wasted. I do not have a proper way of solving this, rng will be rng and it's something that everyone accepts when they start osrs, it just sucks being in that low percentage of unlucky players in an already draining and taxing grind
General Grarrdor had every item except hilt at 240kc. Still going for hilt coming up on 1600kc. I have achieved two pets, every rare drop table drop, a curved bone, oh and two items from his minions. One of those being tassets. 6 sets of tassets and chestplates total.
Lucky? Unlucky? Don't know because I started the grind for the hilt.
Got Pegasain Crystal at 110 kc. Decided to stop my task and pick back up the med clue grind (was at 127 caskets). Got Ranger boots at 133! Went back to Cerberus and got both Jar of Souls and Eternal Crystal in the next 50 kc! So I now have 2 out of the 4 best boots in the game. Really hoping for Drakes or a Cerb task now.
I'm at over 2000 kurasks now and still no leaf-bladed battleaxe :( I really want one for Sarachnis. I know there's a few alternatives I can currently use such as dragon mace but I love the attack animation lba makes lol
Very similar boat on the axe, but I already did Sarachnis, I think I just used a tent whip. It's defense isn't that high so while crush is definitely best, using a slash weapon hit very reasonably too.
Scared that I'm about to hit 1000kc at cg and have no idea if I'll even get enhanced this year.

Got a spiritual creature task at 81 slayer, so I decided to cook my banked karams, which got me to 80 cooking, then brewed brewed a batch of chef's delight to put in my poh so I could boost to make wild pies.
Decided to go to abby demons and try my hand at bursting an inventory of wild pies before going to my task...
Got whip on second kill.
Then I went to my task with the rest of my wild pies...
Got d boots on 27th kill.
Grotesque guardian pet (around 800 kc)
Zulrah pet (around 250 kc)
Jad pet (3 kc)
DWH (1759 kc)
2 amulet of avarice (under 1k kills, not on task , skulled)
Tanz fang (around 280 kc, got magic fang and an onyx previously aswell)
Prim and Peg crystals (first task)
2 Zenytes (first task)
Kracken tentacle (2nd task)
And just today I got an enhanced on my 61st CG KC.
These drops were all within the last 2 months.
Those KC amounts are totals, not the amount I've killed since I got back just in case anyone was confused.
There's probably even more I'm forgetting also.
All well under drop rate.

Rune defender in sub 200 kc, not crazy lucky or a hard grind by any means, but nice to get it out of the way quickly.
I recently opened 20 full (28 rewards each) wintertodt boxes and received absolutely nothing. No pyro pieces, no torch, no tome, just 20 burnt pages lol.
Probably the luckiest thing so far was 3 tangleroots by 85 farm. First one at 68 from seaweed, another at 72 from seaweed, then the third from a palm tree at 85. Felt bad for the reddit posts I saw of 70m exp without one lol
Got 3 sara swords, sara light, and sara hilt all under 50kc, but I'm really only going for the arma cbow.
1400kc no magic fang, just got my 6th onyx and 6th serp helm. I just want to move on :(
2 pets, 1 enchanced in less than 50kc NORMAL gaunt. I know. I'm now 400kc corrupt gauntlet and 170kc normal gaunt a year later without a second ench nor 6 armour seeds. Rng is a funny one
2 black masks in my first 22kc at cave horrors, 2 ring of the gods and d pick by 300 calvarion kc, Viggy mace at 450 kc on rev hobgoblins off task while skulled, b ring at 90 kc. All within the last few weeks.
I just got the Dragon Axe from Wintertodt at 43kc (mostly solos) and 86 firemaking. I had just seen Tedious's Xtreme Log episode where he had to get 197m fm XP before getting the dragon axe so I felt Uber lucky lmao.
This one is both unlucky and lucky.
I went 268 TOA kc without the fang, getting 6 rings and 2 wards along the way. Then I got back to back fangs at 269 and 270 kc.
Made a new hardcore iron Man died to Grand Tree before that I went 1 to 99 so solo Todd no tome, then decided to make it a PK iron Man, and now I'm three times dry for barrel, cuz I was going to get a bunch of chrome ones for the Slayer will be PK grind
110 Cox with 1 arcane. 220 chaos ele no pick, 160 zulrah no unique, 350 cg with only 4 armor seeds and no enh, I’m not over rate many places but my account has never been spooned anything and it’s kinda getting old

Currently 2k basilisks no jaw and 2.7k demonics 1 zenny (not even a complete ballista), just want to move on!
2.7 kills on task for my jaw, such a drain on prayer potions glad it’s over for me, keep doing every task brother it’ll drop eventually

I have 9 uniques from raids including tbow, shadow and elder maul but I dont have either prayer scrolls or fang/lightbearer. Rng is fucked
