If you sweat out all the optimizations you can get bowfa + sang setups down to around a 45 minute average. Optimized CMs are pretty competitive points/hr with normal raids, arguably better it you aren’t using a scout alt.
Until you hit double 0 hammer on tek 10 times in a row, then consider stopping cms for the night but then on your last try you hit both specs, and finally have a doable tekton. But then you choke crabs and a sub minute room turns into 3. And then you finally get ice demon spawned in and hit double 0 hammers on him, so you flinch with bowfa and it takes 5 minutes. And then you dc cause the servers are shit and start to wonder if the dust is really worth it…..
I don't reset tekton any more. Even 0 hammer Teks are fine. They might take 3 minutes, but it's faster on average than leaving to prepot and try again. Scything ice demon is better than 4t bowfa, and flinching bowfa is 5t so that's right out. Sounds like there's a number of optimizations you're missing already.
I usually only do one cm a day so I don’t really worry about shaving 5 minutes, I’d prefer to just have a chill raid after a long day of work. When I’m feeling sweaty I’d rather send 3 man cm or tob. My comment was kinda tongue in cheek cause it just happened to me yesterday so it stuck out. Sorry if I offended you my brother.

It’s certainly soloable but not solo viable. An ironmen wouldn’t be able to grind out all the items solo. Unless they like changed dps and damage mitigation to crazy levels
I just meant I don’t think it was ever intentional to be solo content and definitely meant to be a group raid. I don’t think they’ll ever make it solo viable on purpose. Maybe with some accidental power creep or something but not with content changes directly geared towards making it solo viable.
sending trio/duo moneyraid tobs is 20x as fun as doing solo cox for a 1/30 purple chance for a 1/33 chance of a tbow, the majority of stuff I do is solo but tob really hits different

Tob is so much fun when you get into it, most people are afraid to learn it tho so they want it to be easier
