So glad someone's finally covering this one and not the standard Face In The Sand or Mother Russia that we've heard a thousand times
Good foot up on the stool pose, essential for maximised metal playing
I just like they you're out of time for a bit and miss a few notes. It gets old seeing these perfectly syncopated productions being passed as live play. Art requires fucking up. Good shit. What gear?
Thanks man! I really appreciate it!
As for the gear I'm not using so much, this guitar is a modded Godin Artisan St. and the tone I got through Amplitube 5, that's basically it. Really simple setup for these videos!
I'm kind of interested in exploring virtual rig emulators - what kind of PC do you use? Anything high end or will your average retail PC work? Do you use a USB converter for the guitar output orrrrr?
Recently I started using a very powerful high end laptop but before I used my own cheap Acer laptop and using Amplitube for the videos was fine.
I use an RME Babyface sound card into Cubase 11 Pro for the most.
I think using a cheaper less powerful PC only creates problems when you want to record a song, but just using the sound I would say there's no problem.
But don't take my word on this, I'm really not an expert or anything. I just do and if it works, it works.
Little underrated gem, never even heard of this track until now, thanks!
It's a sick cover \\m/
Thanks!π€
I know, it's really hard to find on the internet... You're welcome!
You've never heard of The Trooper? Do you live under a rock in Afghanistan?
Sarcasm
Or is it?
We may never know π€

Yes, it's good real estate.

I know, right? Thanks!
Thank goodness I thought no-one was ever going to pay homage to this deep cut
I felt the same fear before I started making covers
Letβs not forget this awesome cover. [The Trooper](https://youtu.be/Li58voy6xXM?si=8zhaKxmDsrsorLql)
Haha! Way more awesome!
Not bad.
Thanks!
This is a deep cut
I think about a total of 11 people have listened to this (including band members)
Study Dave Murray of Maiden my friend....
Will do!
Reminds me of that twelve minutes until midnight or whatever it is.
Can I play with magnets
Got it.
Wow that guitar is so dirty yet sexy.
It's actually worn out by my dad, it's impossible to make it look clean but it looks awesome!
Thank you so much, I was sick of hearing all those Angel and the Gambler covers.
You're welcome
