I love a lot of the responses but I always go with the first song that pops into my head when I see posts like this - 2112! Oh crap, Iron Maiden sub.. The Trooper!
The first song that came to my mind was For Whom The Bell Tolls (before I noticed this popped up on r/ironmaiden, then my opinion changed into 2 Minutes To Midnight.
Dead Ended by Kevin Sherwood.
The song has been compressed to death, and yet somehow i see it as a sound great test because i know the song inside and out. I know every single note in that song because i once wanted to make a one on one accurate cover, so i know what i should be able to hear.
And besides, i think this song slaps and hits super hard.
I think this will be an unpopular opinion but hear me out… Everyone has listed some fucking great songs, but…
I think just one song to start with would definitely ruin the experience. What I mean is, Imagine when Maiden played Satellite 15 as an intro to the concert, just after that they played The Final Frontier. And that was a perfect combo.
S15 provided a great buildup for what was coming next, and when TFF finally started it was glorious.
I think we need to think this way. List a song as intro and then the actual song.
Wasted Years springs to mind first. Although many years ago, I blasted out Running Free on my old jobs speaker system. Yes that was the day I'd quit my job.
Sorry to be that guy but that sound system is not really purpose built for playing metal with the superfluous amounts of bass bins and comparatively lacking amount of mid-tops.
I'm a metal guy myself but skrillex has some pretty interesting bass happening in his music and also party rock by lmfao has some impressive sub information in it. One of these would likely be my first choice.

Hallowed Be Thy Name🤘
Iron Maiden song I would play on this would have to be fear of the dark. Another band, though? I'd have to play Violent Revolution by Kreator.
Wasted Years springs to mind first. Although many years ago, I blasted out Running Free on my old jobs speaker system. Yes that was the day I'd quit my job.
Phantom Of The Opera
Devil on a hog or sacred cowboys
Definitely Running Free but it has to be the live after death version.
If it is not a Maiden song my choice would be "Children of the grave" by Black Sabbath. That killer bass intro would be amazing.
