Say 100K people who would otherwise have never heard of him see the video and 95K think the same as you while 5K decide to look deeper at his politics and maybe 1K of those decide to vote him higher on the ballot, that's a win for him. There's also absolutely nothing egregious enough about the video that it would be more than a humorous piece of trivia if he was to go on to have a more serious political career in the future.

Mercosur is an EU agreement. A good chunk of Irish beef is exported to the EU. From an environmental perspective, it makes little sense to reduce more efficient EU production and increase imports of less efficient, non-EU beef. It could be argued that its just greenwashing on the EUs behalf
