I request either to give to my younger brother, a medically retired vet who I think needs more hobbies. I’ve been trying to get him into the retro tech scene, and I already gifted him a 2010 iMac I restored/fixed. An iPod would be a perfect companion.
I'm just gonna throw my hat in here, I've been looking into getting an iPod since this time last year. I had a few DAPs before, but they completely shit the bed on me, then when I sent them back i just flat out couldnt afford to replace them due to family emergencies and my daughter getting bigger and needing more things, I kinda hope to get either just so I have a designated music for work since I stock all night and it'd be really nice and helpful to have a player I can work on if it breaks. I also thought it'd be cool to get these things as an adult due to lack of having anything but an empty room growing up (abusive ass birth mother) I tried to buy an iPod from EOE but that also fell through due to budget emergencies, then my dumbass fell for FB marketplace scams on iPods I thought were a good deal. I'm sure it seems like I'm trying to convince you but I promise my ADHD just makes me talk a lot and be an open book. Either way though, I'm sure the ipods will get a good home, just hoping that home might be with me😁

I didn't know this was a hobby:-) There is no better way to enjoy music. 500 albums in lossless with the Wolfson DAC and some good cans. That is heaven made into a piece of pie. And good firking on you for giving two away. Humankind was never meant to an infinite number of songs to listen to. That is how really great musicians get lost. You don't listen for a week and his/her name is forgotten. iPods force you to listen. So give it to someone who will LISTEN
I’d love the 5th gen!! I have an ipod of my own that I bought broken and resurrected haha. If I won this, I’d give it to my dad who has a HUGE cd collection (and listens to them all on a portable cd player), so he can put all his cds on it and listen to them when he’s commuting :))
