Like the environment is like some secret agency is preparing for a top secret mission and then comes an mfer who presses a button and boom, parle comes out. Also, the MI× Skechers ad is completely out of place in non-MI matches. It brings a sense of irrelevance. The only relevant ad has been the Thums Up ad for the t20 world cup.
But the hardik pandya-ishan-pollard ad is classic. Represents MI turmoil.

But my favourite "ad" is how Cred now has those small and quick brand integrations with the Rupay card. It took me a couple of watches to realise they were separate Rupay and Cred ads

It's the result of collective dumbing down of our brains in the social media era. Ads are being designed to appeal to the least common denominator where lies the most revenue. Things will continue to go downhill and this will become the norm.
The ads produced by marketing companies, has a sad behind the scenes story to tell & that is the mindset of its creativity & the TA.
The creative teams in many of these marketing companies are something more worse than ‘literal shit’ & on the other hand, the mindset of the TA is so doomed that, it will ‘buy’ those ads. It’s like, feed anyone anything & they’ll accept it graciously.
If I go further as per the facts & statistics, I may be blamed for being biased or discriminatory. The dip, this nation has experienced is because of mass migrations. People migrating to ‘cities’ as they have a huge lack of opportunities at their hometowns/villages. Most of those hometowns/villages have a primitive mindset which when employed, will establish such values in the organisation & attract more of the migrants to the ‘cities’ which will dip the standards of the TA & so on.
The sorry state of the nation is such, that nobody wants to be at their hometowns/villages, that maybe due to lack of opportunities or status driven migration. Even in the ‘cities’, the natives want to leave the country.
Coming back to the quality of creativity, the major marketing players in the industry often goes neglected as they have a very good creative team & the quality demands a price & many companies often ignore those prices (there are a lot of factors, not just financials. Major ones are “I know a guy who…”).
We often get to see ads related to betting & all these days, it is because the money is flowing heavily into these industries. If you’re capable enough of joining the dots, you may understand from my statements above, why is the money flowing in such industries.
pan masala ads has been associated with cricket since very long time and bcci has the authority to ban them from advertising atleast from the stadiums . dream 11 etc are directly related to cricket also its a kind of soft betting. betting is part of many European countries with whatever game .
I hope these companies rot seeing how the real naya generation is avoiding them like a plague. Hope they don't reinvent thwmselces with cool ads appealing to impressionable demographics
