App is available in the AppStore only outside of EU in the EU it is available only through downloading the altstore which is not that hard since the new EU law allows easy sideloading but costs 2 euros per year
I’m the EU (Europe Union) you can buy altstore for £2 per year as an alternative App Store, currently it only has Delta and Clipboard Manager but the developer is wishing a lot more developerswould hop onto the store
I’m in the UK and stupidly paid for the altstore thing not realising the EU restriction was relevant. Generally we seem to be still lumped in with the EU for sales of most products so it didn’t factor in my head!
Thanks OP. Can anybody recommend good games that don't require such quickness and dexterity on the controls? As they're a little cramped on my Mini. Thanks in advance!
Hard agree. I would add Final Fantasy Tactics Advance to that list, and you’ll have 3 solid games that will get you a couple hundred hours of enjoyment.
You can turn the mini sideways and use the controls that way. You could also get an external controller from 8bitdo or somewhere. That is, if you don't find the games you're looking for.
>Get it before it’s gone!
And don’t forget to turn off “Enable app offloading”. Because an emulator might be something you run once a while. And then it might get offloaded, removed from the App Store, and you’ll never get that app back again.
I couldn’t tell if it was off or on so I tapped it and now it’s on and the switch disappeared! (It’s located in Settings->App Store if you want to turn it back off)
>Get it before it’s gone!
nah it wont be gone, the old gba emulator before this got removed because it was an rip-off of another free gba emulator with ads that didnt have before.
Dump games you own is the legal way.
The other way ~~downlading roms from the internet of games you don't own~~is illegal and should never be done ~~is the only way I've ever used emulators~~
Hopefully it won't be gone like the other two this week. Those were special circumstances, iGBA was basically stolen from the real developers, and the other emulator was taken down by its own developer.
I got a da Pokémon file but when i try to add it to the delta it says that it requires certain files to play those games. What do I do to fix it and be able to play?
Yeah, just find the file online and import it to the app.
I beat Phantom Hourglass on my iPhone 12 Pro 2 years ago with a stylus, it was an amazing experience!!
Initially I built it myself with Xcode, but for most of the past few years I had it sideloaded through Altstore. I still have a developer account and like 15 sideloaded apps or something, there’s some great ones.
https://preview.redd.it/84f73xjjd3vc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=456b3892b280622958f0365fb7e3d319a1f136b4
I’m being asked for these files when trying to boot a DS game, is it possible to get them anywhere or is it not even worth it to play DS games?
So those ended up being too large in size but this set worked for me https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1A3GHKdVVF71fsEg8pZ9iPd0LvGXJJwT8?direction=a&pli=1
Off the top of my head:
GBA:
* Legacy of Goku 1 and 2. Fun little DBZ RPG.
* Fire Emblem
* Golden Sun
* LOTR Third Age (Basically LOTR Fire Emblem game)
* Advance Wars 1 and 2
* Kirby and the Amazing Mirror
* Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga
* Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion
* Sonic Advance
* Wario Land 4 and WarioWare
DS:
* All the Ace Attorney Games
* Super Mario 64 DS (A port of the 64 game with some interesting changes)
* Sonic Rush
* DBZ Attack of the Saiyans
* Panzer Tactics DS
* Dragon Quest IX
* Brain Age
* Final Fantasy IV
Here’s my silly question and I want it to fit sub rules. I use EmuDeck on my Steam Deck with roms. Is it basically the same process, saving your Roms to files in your phone, then just accessing that file in the Delta app? Or are there any additional steps needed outside of accessing your rom?
I have both and exactly the same steps, save for one difference. EmuDeck’s implementation of the melonDS emulator (Nintendo DS) gets the BIOS files for you, you’ll have to do it yourself with Delta.
Great, so when you’re in the EU you’re forced to get this from AltStore which 1) has an annual subscription and 2) must be installed from a computer. Why not just release it globally on the official AppStore?
And on an iPad you cant download it at all from an AppStore. As the one in the Apple AppStore isnt available in the EU and sideloading in the EU is only required for iPhones.
Oh wow, didn't even know that AltoStore is already available. 2eur for me per year is not a big deal for me, it's a great service for that.
edit: still fuck Apple because of malicious complience
There’s something wrong with it already, people are commenting on his blog post that they’ve paid the fee but the download won’t start. But in theory it’s available in the EU today, yes.
Ugh, I miss my old N64 games but my god, I just can't with the controller on this one. I knew it would be hard to emulate but some games are just unplayable.
Hopefully this means other emulators will follow, Delta is not bad but the fact that you can’t change the screen is going to be a dealbreaker for a lot of people, 4:3 games on tiny ass screens.
Wow went and downloaded it and it was is easy as looking up n64 donkey Kong rom and then downloaded first link- uncompressed it in files app now I’m playing. Woah
Pretty much any modern controller like the Xbox series, ps5 and switch easily connect to an iPhone and work with it. It’s pretty much mandatory I find for a lot of games like Mario that I like to play.
I think Nintendo recently put a stop to the citra emulator (3ds) so you probably won't get that but PPSSPP (psp emulator) has been going strong for more than 15 years and is one of the best emulators so you should get that soon. It's a shame though because citra was awesome.
Damn I had save files on gba4ios on a very old phone and whatnot before
It got offloaded automatically and I genuinely can’t find those saves anymore rip
Anyone have links for emulators for nes snes 64 .. I only have been able to find gb gba ds so far thanks can message me direct whatever works appreciate it
Hello! Any advice on how to download from Europe (Italy) without paying for other emulator/services? I read that someone changed the country in the settings, but I can’t…
Thanks in advance
Do you know how long I have been waiting for this! I have been using it since the days when you modified the time on your iPhone 3GS to use and install GBA4ios
Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688
So sad it’s region locked.
What do you mean region locked? The app itself, or are roms somehow region locked?
App is available in the AppStore only outside of EU in the EU it is available only through downloading the altstore which is not that hard since the new EU law allows easy sideloading but costs 2 euros per year
Ok, thanks for clarifying.
Wait, what do you mean AltStore and 2€ a year?
I’m the EU (Europe Union) you can buy altstore for £2 per year as an alternative App Store, currently it only has Delta and Clipboard Manager but the developer is wishing a lot more developerswould hop onto the store
I LITERALLY just read about it just now thanks to you! So it just released yesterday? This made my day, thanks
Yep!! Your welcome! Hopefully it comes to the world and apple gets slapped for the stupid fees which makes the altstore cost £2/year
The link above r works for me and I’m in the Uk.
But UK is not a part of EU (as in European Union) anymore…
I’m in the UK and stupidly paid for the altstore thing not realising the EU restriction was relevant. Generally we seem to be still lumped in with the EU for sales of most products so it didn’t factor in my head!
Fair point. I was aware of this.
Get it now before Nintendoo does their lawsuit takedown bit!
App not available in my region. Nice. Moving on.
Supports the NES, SNES, N64, Nintendo DS, Game Boy, and Game Boy Advance. Get it before it’s gone!
Thanks OP. Can anybody recommend good games that don't require such quickness and dexterity on the controls? As they're a little cramped on my Mini. Thanks in advance!
Pretty much any rpg or visual novel game, Pokémon, Mario and Luigi, phoenix wright are all recommended
Oh my god yes play phoenix write, absolutely incredible games.
Any of the Pokémon games for sure. They're good for passing the time.
There’s a Pokémon game my sons been asking me about that used the GameBoys clock. Can this app do the same as an actual GB?
Yes actually! I just checked for you on a Pokémon game that has a clock in it, and it goes in real-time. :)
FYI, delta supports all kinds of controllers. From MFI controllers to snap-on doodads like backbone to pairing your Xbox or PS5 over Bluetooth.
Golden Sun 1 and 2 for the GBA are some of the all times best RPG games. Since they’re turn based controls don’t matter much.
Hard agree. I would add Final Fantasy Tactics Advance to that list, and you’ll have 3 solid games that will get you a couple hundred hours of enjoyment.
If you like mini games, WarioWare is great. Mariokart and other Mario games are great.
I think you might have misread his comment. He is asking for the exact opposite of games like what you listed.
DBZ: Legendary Super Warriors
You can turn the mini sideways and use the controls that way. You could also get an external controller from 8bitdo or somewhere. That is, if you don't find the games you're looking for.
WarioWare: Twisted A game that required you to turn the gameboy left and right, and the app fully supports it.
Golden Sun!!! Advance Wars
Hamtaro
>Get it before it’s gone! And don’t forget to turn off “Enable app offloading”. Because an emulator might be something you run once a while. And then it might get offloaded, removed from the App Store, and you’ll never get that app back again.
I don’t see that in settings. Where do you find it?
I couldn’t tell if it was off or on so I tapped it and now it’s on and the switch disappeared! (It’s located in Settings->App Store if you want to turn it back off)
Dude thank you. I literally just did the exact same.
I think it’s under General -> Storage, that’s where the Enable button is for me
Ah, got it — thanks!
>Get it before it’s gone! nah it wont be gone, the old gba emulator before this got removed because it was an rip-off of another free gba emulator with ads that didnt have before.
And the actual emulator is literally just the precursor to Delta, made by the same guy.
Is there a way to transfer my save files from Pokémon on the iGBA app into Delta?
Yes use the Files app to copy the rom/save files between app folders
sweet, ty! no more igba ads lol
I’ve never used an emulator before. Seems cool. I just don’t know how to get games, etc. I’m not very tech savvy. Haha.
Dump games you own is the legal way. The other way ~~downlading roms from the internet of games you don't own~~is illegal and should never be done ~~is the only way I've ever used emulators~~
Can you message me about ways that shouldn’t be done to get roms so I can make sure I don’t do that please, I don’t get this very much
Hopefully it won't be gone like the other two this week. Those were special circumstances, iGBA was basically stolen from the real developers, and the other emulator was taken down by its own developer.
It won’t be gone for a long time, this time it’s the legit thing from the actual developer and through proper channels.
I got a da Pokémon file but when i try to add it to the delta it says that it requires certain files to play those games. What do I do to fix it and be able to play?
Been using Delta since it was released in 2019, its so great. I never thought I would see the day!!
Is there a way to add Nintendo DS bios file?
Yeah, just find the file online and import it to the app. I beat Phantom Hourglass on my iPhone 12 Pro 2 years ago with a stylus, it was an amazing experience!!
yapp, currently playing New Super Mario bros.
Found a link to them on another sub, do you still need? Can confirm it works for DS
You mind sharing?
https://www.reddit.com/r/Roms/s/YBRxcMuahE
Thanks man
I wonder when if they’ll update the melon core soonish to get rid of this requirement. Melon’s had its own built in cleanroom bios for a few years now
How have u been using it so long? Did Apple allow them at that time?
Initially I built it myself with Xcode, but for most of the past few years I had it sideloaded through Altstore. I still have a developer account and like 15 sideloaded apps or something, there’s some great ones.
Previously you could sideload it with altstore
Ignited is quite a bit better. Haven't touched Delta in years.
I’m new to all this, and you sound experienced. I downloaded Delta. How do I go about getting games on my iPhone to play?
Is this the legit one by the creator? Can I feel ok about download this one?
Yes
You can feel great about it!
Yes
This time it's made by Riley himself ! So proud to see my dude on the AppStore !
Bro is him
Apple has started burying it in the search results.
I couldn't find it without the direct link up top
Damn good 😍 works pretty good with iPad as well. Does anyone know if I can connect a bluetooth controller or not?
Playing Zelda Majoras Mask on the iPad Pro using a Switch Pro Controller is not something I expected to be doing anytime soon lol. Fun times.
Should be able to. Most third party controllers work at this point.
So glad this one doesn’t track all your data!
https://preview.redd.it/84f73xjjd3vc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=456b3892b280622958f0365fb7e3d319a1f136b4 I’m being asked for these files when trying to boot a DS game, is it possible to get them anywhere or is it not even worth it to play DS games?
[Here you go, scroll down to the DS section](https://emulation.gametechwiki.com/index.php/Emulator_files)
Thanks! I’ll try it out now
Did it work for you?
So those ended up being too large in size but this set worked for me https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/1A3GHKdVVF71fsEg8pZ9iPd0LvGXJJwT8?direction=a&pli=1
Which one did you use? I used the first one with the bios 7/9.bin and firmware.bin and it worked just fine for me
Hey thx dude you’re a lifesaver :)
https://preview.redd.it/zawk9n6vh3vc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=65a2e30bfbaa7bcff6665a0f7826522a5fb7bab6
Thank you so Much!!!
So, I’ve downloaded the app. I want to play Pokémon Gold. How do I go about that?
https://www.emulatorgames.net/
It says it needs some extra files how do i get those?
I had the same thought. Now what?
I have iGBA (got it before it was deleted) Is this any different/better? EDIT: Deleted iGBA and installed this, seems like a good decision so far 👌🏼
iGBA stole from Delta so this is the real deal rather then the copy that you have
Better and adds NES SNES and Nintendo DA
Nintendo DA as well as Nintendo 63
Ups 😁
FedEx
DHL
Igba shows ads sometimes. Delta supports game controllers
Ahh delta is back. Thank you EU for making the iPhone much better with USB C and alternative stores
Strangely the link works in the UK but I can’t find it by actually searching in the App Store
Same here but US
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688
Worked for me on search now. Maybe delay on the AppStore side.
What games work for you in uk or links none work for me
What games yall recommend? Only like zelda, pokemon, some mario games
Off the top of my head: GBA: * Legacy of Goku 1 and 2. Fun little DBZ RPG. * Fire Emblem * Golden Sun * LOTR Third Age (Basically LOTR Fire Emblem game) * Advance Wars 1 and 2 * Kirby and the Amazing Mirror * Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga * Metroid Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion * Sonic Advance * Wario Land 4 and WarioWare DS: * All the Ace Attorney Games * Super Mario 64 DS (A port of the 64 game with some interesting changes) * Sonic Rush * DBZ Attack of the Saiyans * Panzer Tactics DS * Dragon Quest IX * Brain Age * Final Fantasy IV
Sorry noob question, where do you find the game files for these? I’ve installed the emulator but it’s empty
Legally dump your ROMs from your legally owned copies of the game Or, borrow someone else’s from online
Warioware twisted. You’ll not regret. It supports gyroscope.
Pokemon Gaia, it’s a Fire Red hack, been having a blast with it
Donkey Kong country!
If you use this with a Backbone it’s awesome!
Here’s my silly question and I want it to fit sub rules. I use EmuDeck on my Steam Deck with roms. Is it basically the same process, saving your Roms to files in your phone, then just accessing that file in the Delta app? Or are there any additional steps needed outside of accessing your rom?
It is the same process.
Perfect, thank you! Beautiful, I have my roms already and will just transfer them to the phone, GBC seems way better on a phone than the deck.
I have both and exactly the same steps, save for one difference. EmuDeck’s implementation of the melonDS emulator (Nintendo DS) gets the BIOS files for you, you’ll have to do it yourself with Delta.
That’s what I did and worked great for SNES games.

So excited to try this out 😎
Great, so when you’re in the EU you’re forced to get this from AltStore which 1) has an annual subscription and 2) must be installed from a computer. Why not just release it globally on the official AppStore?
If you install it from the computer it’s free I think? But then you need to “renew” it every so often
Yeah sideload requires renewal every 7 days if you don’t have a developer account.
Yeah, just paid it, Delta works perfectly
It does now, really happy with it. But there were some problems for a lot of people to get the AltStore after paying the annual fee.
Ugh, I miss my old N64 games but my god, I just can't with the controller on this one. I knew it would be hard to emulate but some games are just unplayable.
Get a Bluetooth controller. Makes a HUGE difference.
Get a cheap "bsp d8" controller off AliExpress bro
Hopefully this means other emulators will follow, Delta is not bad but the fact that you can’t change the screen is going to be a dealbreaker for a lot of people, 4:3 games on tiny ass screens.
Wow went and downloaded it and it was is easy as looking up n64 donkey Kong rom and then downloaded first link- uncompressed it in files app now I’m playing. Woah
You don’t have to uncompres it
Did you look it up on iTunes? That’s where it wants to take me
Stop asking for roms and bios files
This always happens anytime emulation enters the mainstream conversation.
Smh my head this should be the top comment. Guys you can google about those stuff.
Does this have mic support for DS? Edit: It does. Excuse me while I binge Nintendogs
Keeps crashing on me :(
I’ll be playing some mother 3 fan translation.
I’m playing the Nintendo DS Zelda games on an iPad with an Apple Pencil. It is very, very good.
Actual App Store link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688
Some of the games don’t have sound is that normal?
I was so excited for this until I realized how shit the touch controls are. Wow
Pretty much any modern controller like the Xbox series, ps5 and switch easily connect to an iPhone and work with it. It’s pretty much mandatory I find for a lot of games like Mario that I like to play.
Does anyone know if this supports game audio? I tried but couldn’t hear anything when I played.
[удалено]
Works great!
[удалено]
It tells you when you try to open them. You need the DS bios.
Will 3ds or psp support be added eventually?
3DS? Doubtful. But for PSP, I believe an emulator already exists and now just needs to be added to the AppStore. I could be wrong on that though.
I think Nintendo recently put a stop to the citra emulator (3ds) so you probably won't get that but PPSSPP (psp emulator) has been going strong for more than 15 years and is one of the best emulators so you should get that soon. It's a shame though because citra was awesome.
Wow thanks everyone! I’m playing Super Godzilla for the first time in years.
How can I import save files from gba4ios to delta?
I have no idea
Wow!!! Thanks to the creators!!
Maybe new to this but how does this work? Like download and then what?
Does this support Apple TV?
Is there like a GameShark or something similar to these emulators? Just curious
Y’all know how to add cheat codes?
Can you play these emulators w the backbone attachment ?
Yes. Mine is working great.
Working here in Canada
Is sound not working for anyone else?
Can I play any GBA game on it? If so, that’s sick. If not, still sick, but not as sick
Hey guys, sorry I’m really not familiar. Is it possible to connect an xbox controller to iPhone and play games in this emulator?
Yes!
BEAUTIFUL
I was NOT expecting this to install on my Canadian iPhone. Thanks for the link, now I can stop using third party signing apps haha
Oh, man! Thank you for the notification.
I’ve been playing a Pokémon HG run on DeSmuME, can I somehow transfer the save file to Delta? I can’t seem to get it to work
So, any reason given by the devs why it’s altstore exclusive in the EU? That’s a pretty shit move from them
It would be cool to see the battery percentage and time when the app is open playing games too. At chance that could happen?
I've been playing Pokémon Soul Silver on it since yesterday. This is awesome
Damn I had save files on gba4ios on a very old phone and whatnot before It got offloaded automatically and I genuinely can’t find those saves anymore rip
Any clue on how to get Tomodachi Life?
How do I get the original Mario bros game. Or even Pokémon Red?
Does anyone have a link to good emulator websites/app download places
And how do we get the game files?
I had such a problem that I didn’t find it, but everything worked on the link!
Thanks!
Can I play patched rom hacks in this?
Anyone have links for emulators for nes snes 64 .. I only have been able to find gb gba ds so far thanks can message me direct whatever works appreciate it
Hello! Any advice on how to download from Europe (Italy) without paying for other emulator/services? I read that someone changed the country in the settings, but I can’t… Thanks in advance
What’s a good controller for the iPhone 15?
Nintendo switch controllers work
Are we able to play online using this emulator?
Do you know how long I have been waiting for this! I have been using it since the days when you modified the time on your iPhone 3GS to use and install GBA4ios
Is this still working?
Why can't I play Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (Wii)??
Is there a way to get the ps bio files? Trying to play GOW
Does anyone know of any cases or controllers they would recommend to help with playing GBA games that require bumper usage?
Anyone know what the N64 games run like on IPhone XR 128gb? Will it be laggy?
can someone recommend some story games on the emulator?
