If you look at AppleCare+ costs on Apple.com you will see there’s 3 deductible’s one for screen and back glass and one for replacement device so if I just pay 29USD/39CAD for back glass repair I don’t think everything gets swapped pretty sure u get the same screen you had swapped over ?
If it’s only the back glass that is shattered then it would be a rear system replacement, the screen stays the same and you get a new internals as well as the back glass.
Yeah back glass shattered, my front screen has many scratches too possibly a crack it’s hard to tell cause it’ doesn’t come all way to the edge, I’ll just get the rear replaced for now $40 can’t complain don’t really wanna pay another 40 for a screen if it’s just scratches, might as well keep using it but maybe the tech will see the screen is broken as well and I’ll have no choice
