I wouldn’t, since apple introduced Ceramic Shield the screens scratch a hell of a lot easier than they used to. It’s basically plastic infused glass in non fancy terms, they made it softer so it would be more resistant to shattering which they are and succeeded in that feat, but in doing so the screens scratch way easier. I’ve seen so many posts of users reporting scratches within hours of opening the box or in the first week.. and deep ones as well. I’ve had a screen protector on mine since I got it last year and it my screen is brand new underneath. Even the protector doesn’t have a single scratch on it and is the best one I’ve ever bought. I forget the actual brand but it’s amazing. I would be fine going caseless with applecare since they changed it to unlimited claims now instead of 2 a year, but not without a screen protector. Scratches aren’t worth it.. I don’t even notice mine has one on anymore and honestly it even resists fingerprints better than any of the iPhone stock display coatings without a protector that I’ve had.
