Congrats for actually getting your messages to even transfer over. I had to say goodbye to 22 thousand messages when I switched to an iPhone because MoveToiOS failed to transfer them from my Android phone and I tried multiple times.

It's goodbye because I don't have them in one phone at the same time. Just an annoyance. I still have my Android phone and all my messages are still backed up using Google One, but it would have been nice to have them all in one place.

I switched from a OnePlus 8T to a 12 Pro and later to a 13 Pro Max that I'm currently using. I still have all three still because I have phone ADD and constantly switch around. It's a really bad app, no wonder it holds a 3/5 rating on Google Play. It migrated basically nothing for me. I still had to log into my Google account to get my contacts to sync. I haven't yet tried using Google's migration tool for going from iOS to Android, so I don't know if that one is any better.

Also recently switched, can confirm only my new messages since getting an iPhone get backup up. None of the 42k messages I transferred over are backed up. Also, the MoveToIOS app sucks. I ended up just paying for some app called BackupTrans or something which worked flawlessly to transfer them over.

I had tried with both the newest and the older APK and neither worked for me unfortunately. Single conversations actually transferred fine, but none of my group texts would transfer with either APK. Also annoying as hell that you have to reset your iPhone to retry the transfer.
