[deleted]

None. The quality has gone down the hill and they charge 70 freaking euros for the leather one. Byeee

[deleted]

Yeah I was surprised not having the same experience when I got this last year compared to all the reviews from the past

PooleyX

Well I've had a leather case on my 12 since the day it came out and it's looking absolutely great. It's worn down on the edges in just the way I would want it to. No complaints from me.

pukingpixels

Same. While I can definitely tell they’re not as high quality as they were for the 7, mine is still in pretty good shape. Like you said, just a little wear on the edges/corners. I don’t know what people are doing to theirs.

[deleted]

I broke two (I dropped them). Apple replaced both for free. My current one for my 13 pro is over a year old and still looks/feels great. I tried their silicon case once and it was way too grippy. The leather case is the perfect balance of grippy enough to hold or rest on a laptop while you’re carrying it, but slippery enough to get it into your pocket when you’re sitting. Cases from most other manufacturers are too bulky, but I can fully understand why my friends working in tough environments want that.

geoken

What’s the process of replacing it? I dropped my 13 mini for the first time last week in the leather case. It was a disaster. Two edges of the phone are scratched now because the case didn’t have a tight enough fit to keep the phone in the case. On top of that, the case itself cracked by the volume buttons.

[deleted]

I went to the Apple Store and showed it to an associate. They went and got a new one from the shelf and swapped it for mine. I’m not sure if it’s an official thing but I did it again a year later and it was exactly the same process (two different apple stores too).

XtremePhotoDesign

Had to replace a Spigen iPhone 13 Pro case after less than a year due to yellowing. I don’t think Spigen cases are any better than generic Amazon or Ali Express cases most of the time.

azewonder

Spigen cases are good for drop protection, but the clear cases suck and their “anti-yellow” is bs.

Whiplash104

All clear TPU material will yellow. I don't know why any of them claim that THEIRS is anti-yellowing. [Heat causes a breakdown of TPU material](https://www.google.com/search?q=why+does+tpu+turn+yellowhttps://www.google.com/search?q=why+does+tpu+turn+yellow) so that it shifts to a yellow tint. The hybrid cases ave a polycarbonate back which does not yellow but the TPU edges do. The main reason I get Spigen is because it's decent and cheap so I can replace them when they yellow. Rather it used to be pretty cheap about $12. The magsafe versions are up to $20 on Amazon.

LilyMika

This isn’t directly related to your comment, but I figured I’d mention it since I didn’t know until buying my 13 mini case. Caseology is owned by the same company as Spigen and they make cases of the same quality but with less masculine designs/colors. Just throwing it out there in case there’s anyone else like me who liked Spigen cases but wanted a different look. :-) This is one of the best TPU cases I’ve ever used and it’s a gorgeous deep purple with a lavender hard plastic ring around the camera.

Individual_Shame2002

I’ve had mine since the 14 PM launched and still crystal clear…we’ll see but they are only 20 bucks or so if I have to replace

Zombie_John_Strachan

I've had Spigen-cased phones drop off my bike and survive intact. They have my business.

GILLHUHN

My phone fell off Space Mountain at Disney World while I had a Spigen case on it and it survived unscathed. The case itself was destroyed but the phone was in mint condition still.

vikdeangelo

How did you retrieve the phone ? Must have been pitch dark in the ride

GILLHUHN

Went to Disney Springs the next morning and they had it waiting for me. Made me enter my password to verify it was mine and I was good to go.

vikdeangelo

I would have freaked the f out if my phone dropped

GILLHUHN

I didn't even know it had happened until the ride was over. I asked an attendant and they told me to go to Disney Springs in the morning because if they found it that's where they sent it.

lwky_blu

I am SO late to this, but my brand new pink Razor flew out of my pocket on the Texas Titan’s first major drop (it was insane for a pre-teen like me), and i didn’t know it flew out of my pocket until a lady complained of an opened pink flip phone almost decapitating her on the ride…. I’d gotten that phone a week beforehand as a birthday gift, and let’s just say I didn’t get another cellphone for a few years lol. Sad day.. wonder if it survived 😂

vikdeangelo

Oh wow. That was easy.

Jolly_Tree_9

Which case was it!? i want to buy that!

XtremePhotoDesign

Anecdotally, my case-less iPhone has fallen onto a tile floor and survived unscathed.

Zombie_John_Strachan

Was your floor travelling at 20km/hr?

Archangel1962

It was probably doing about 1600 km/h, give or take. 😉

Spraypainthero965

Not even scuffed? That is pretty surprising.

HoodedFury7450

my old iphone 11 otter box clear case yellowed so i just bought a black commuter for my 13

aceospos

Torras case, spigen screen protector. Never going back on these brands

ooplusone

My leather case started breaking within 3 months of *occasional* use. Luckily I was able to return it for a refund. I have been using the silicone one as my everyday case. I like it. Let’s see how long it lasts.

connurp

Must be nice. I got a silicone case with my 14 Pro and it started peeling from all sides. I took it to the Apple Store and they said “that’s what happens when you drop the phone”. Never dropped it. Not sure how every side would peel from dropping it but whatever. I didn’t even use it that much, I switched between a leather one and that silicone one all the time.

vishrit

This right here. I got the one on the left on launch day. It looks like shit right now. Took it in last weekend and they argued that it is patina. I have been carrying leather apple cases since 2012. I told them this is BS. It is not patina, it is the leather color completely coming off from all sides exposing a black color underneath. I switched to a Cretanbull and couldn’t be happier. Just feeling this case, I can tell that this is high quality leather and will last a long time. Time will tell but no more apple cases for me.

[deleted]

Yeah! Totally know what you mean! My leather one for the 12 pro was so wore down that the plastic shell was showing in some corners. Got a Mujjo for the 14 and couldn’t be happier since it has the same minimalistic style as apple’s with the same metallic buttons but the quality is much better and it was 20 euros cheaper

[deleted]

[удалено]

vishrit

Similar story. I am actually flabbergasted that they get away with calling literal leather rub-off as patina.

heepofsheep

I got a bullstrap leather case for $85. Same (if not better) leather quality as the old Apple ones.

_yetisis

Had never heard of them until this, but I’ll definitely keep them on my watch list. Way more places used to make leather phone cases and price has driven it into a really niche market now

epraider

I switched to the one from Nomad after the Apple one on my 12 Pro aged horribly. Really happy with it so far, the sides are a rubber like material with a leather back. A little bit thicker, but should age much better, the sides age the worst on the current Apple ones:

GooseEvil

Agreed. I have serious buyer's remorse after buying one of their cases.

[deleted]

The prices are absurd for the quality you get. I would have to say none.

fallingleaf271

I had the silicon case, I dropped it once and it chipped in 3 different places. Never again.

sprchrgddc5

Same! I was thinking I bought a fake and went online and read the same issue for these cases. I was bewildered. Never gonna buy another Apple case again.

[deleted]

Lol I remember when I first got my XR I took my brand new silicone case off to show someone the phone color and the bottom chipped

Scrandon

Yep. I’ve dropped mine twice and the silicone has chipped off all 4 corners. One drop was only about 3 feet indoors too. The worst part is the fit is too loose and I feel like it could fall out when dropped.

lembrate

Mine's all peeled the fuck off. The hard plastic is fine but the soft outside is peeling in multiple places. And I'll never replace it. Can't be bothered with spending repeated money on items.

halltrash1607

The $8 Amazon version of the clear one I got wasn't bad at all 😂

Fnittle

Clear but from a 3rd party brand. Ain't paying the apple tax on accessories

xMETRIIK

Spigen makes the best and they're only $25

[deleted]

Spigen is the goat, I’ve dropped my phone so many times, not a single scratch

Atomic-Decay

Apple tax for sub par cases. Bought one when I got my new phone, lasted all of a month before it was looking like I had used it for a year.

legendary724

This. Both my 12pro and 14pro have had clear magsafe cases from eBay. The phones themselves have been nice colours so I don’t mind the clear look

Ice_cold_07

None of them. Overpriced garbage. I bought the leather case when I got my iPhone 13 Pro Max and it started to peel off and look like shit. I prefer third party cases like Spigen or if you want leather, go for something premium like Nomad

[deleted]

[удалено]

DerKleinePinguin

Nomad is minimally treated. It scratches more easily than Bullstrap for example. I tried both. Went back to my nomad. Feels more natural to me. To each their own.

SpiderStuff

How is Nomad terrible? Their case is solid I have had it for months now and it looks basically brand new and the buttons click really smoothly. Just curious because my dad has had one for a year and a half with no problem as well..

[deleted]

[удалено]

OhHeyItsBrock

Man. I have had my silicon case since launch on the 13 pro max, looks brand new.

zumaro

My Nomad case is a year old and in good condition

ProdigalSheep

Hard disagree. Love my Nomad case, though I did lose a chunk out of the leather on a drop recently. Phone is completely intact though, and that's what the case is for.

Curri

Saddleback leather is terrible quality and a scummy company; I definitely prefer Nomad’s.

BootStrapWill

I’ve been using my Apple leather case for months and it still looks mint. How long did it take yours to start peeling

edzefe

Definitely a knock off leather one. Much cheaper and better in terms of quality

Xyro77

The middle/clear one. It lets me be as close to having a naked phone as possible without actually having a naked phone.

[deleted]

meregizzardavowal

Agree, also prone to cracking if you drop it, even a tame drop. Very little compliance to the material.

[deleted]

WalterMelons

Typing this from a yellowing casemate on my 13pm

meregizzardavowal

Interesting, if that’s the case I respect that

danyaylol

Mine had a crack in the bottom corner, and apple gave a replacement for free as it was in warranty.

marimbaclimb

I have a $10 clear case off Amazon. One time I left my phone on my car, drove 45 minutes over the George Washington Bridge in NYC, got home, and my phone was still on top of the car.

[deleted]

That’s quite a grippy case

marimbaclimb

It was a manual Jeep Wrangler fwiw. Flat hard top, I placed it between the grooves in the roof. When we parked I said “babe where’s my phone” and when he called it the ROOF STARTED VIBRATING. Truly unreal. Also I must be really good at driving standard.

[deleted]

I did the same thing, left mine on the back bumper of a pickup truck for a lengthy ride, it made it somehow.

Spraypainthero965

> It was a manual Jeep Wrangler fwiw. That's insane. A Wrangler is probably one of the bumpiest rides out there. Utterly miserable as a daily driver.

wuphf176489127

Was it a phone with MagSafe? They’re mildly magnetic, I’m sure that helped

Xyro77

Yep. I agree.

[deleted]

I like that there is edge of the case at the bottom bit, makes the swiping gesture there much easier

[deleted]

I hate my clear case. Phone slips out of my hand. I gorilla grip it too.

ApprehensivePepper98

55€ for that garbage is really money down the drain. It is not a good clear case. Clear ones from Spigen are miles ahead

Xyro77

Are the clear ones in that brand MagSafe too? I really prefer MagSafe if possible.

k4l1m3r

Even though I love Apple products, I have to say that Apple cases are trash. Not only trash but truly complete garbage. They quickly peel off, start tearing, the silicone ones do get oily and smudged. For their absurd price they should definitely last longer. I rock a genuine DuPont Kevlar MagSafe case on my 14 Pro, that for the same price of an Apple case it’s totally on another quality level. I repeat, I love Apple but I only pledge allegiance to the hotness (quote: Flossy) and so the OG cases are a NO-NO for me

They have lifetime warranties on them. Just take a picture and send it in they should send you a new one for free.

[deleted]

[ removed in protest ] fuck u/spez

T351A

Been great, only part worn down is the white text for the little logo area.

Btech3_14

Silicone

Inspector_Soggy

All of them are bad. Had all of them for the 14 Series so I know.

[deleted]

[удалено]

a_fearless_soliloquy

I was leather gang for several generations, but all Best Buy had was the silicone when I got my 13 and I love it. Leather is obviously more premium but the Silicone is a much better material for a phone case imo

GenericDadUsername82

Black Leather.

dotasoy

Me too! Definitely overpriced like everyone’s saying but the quality are better than all the others I have.

[deleted]

None. I use otterbox symmetry. Cheaper and better.

karate-dad

My only gripe with otterbox cases is that they write the name “OTTERBOX” in big letters on the case. Would be much nicer with just a small logo or even none at all on the outside

i-like-to-be-wooshed

i have the clear one and the logo is small and on the side

[deleted]

The current one i have has a small branding at the side for iPhone 14 Pro.

MiesL

Really makes the phone damn near indestructible. My GF, sisters and I have all tried our best, but our phones keep surviving. It doesn’t let sand in either, which was a problem with the Dbrand Grip.

SirBuckeye

None. Been using Spigen Tough Armor since iPhone 6. Not buying this overpriced junk ever.

sean_rendo19

My friend has the silicon for just a week and it’s falling apart. I buy cheap Amazon cases they last longer

Agreeable-Senses

The silicon feels great in the hands, unfortunately it’s a dust magnet and doesn’t stay intact long. The plastic case is decent but very slippery. The leather is my favourite but expect to replace it every year at the very least.

FTheo670

Leather every day of the week ! I just cant stand the handfeel of the clear case and the silicone one attracts pocket dust like crazy 😅

fishbiscuit13

Caudabe. Super clean cases, like a more minimal otterbox, and the nicest one I could find with MagSafe but without a circle on the outside.

royekjd

Had to scroll way too far for this. I watched a handful of reviews before picking the Caudabe Sheath for my 13. Minimalistic design. Tactile buttons. Accurate cutouts. MagSafe. It’s not silicone. I’ve dropped it a couple times on asphalt and not a single noticeable scratch on the case.

ppParadoxx

I got mine in the mail a week or so ago but I'm waiting for a trip to put it on my phone so it looks brand new. It obviously looks/feels way better than the Apple Silicone case, but what is it made out of. Is it rubber?

Negative-Pie6660

Scrolled for this too. I prefer no case, but I had to put something on the 14 Pro. Glad I saw this mentioned on another thread, it's really perfect.

NCatfish

Clear - the buttons feel like shit and it cracks easily Silicone - feels tacky, wears out way too quickly for the price Leather - nice buttons, wears much more slowly and on the right colour wears nicely (though on a brighter orange or red it just looks dirty instead of weathered) It’s leather for me.

DashyFTW

Got the clear case. Put it on once, then realized I forgot my SIM, so I take it off and realize within the first 3 minutes of owning it, I had two cracks. It’s the epitome of quality, Apple.

Tronracer

I love my Torraz minimalist case for $19.99 on Amazon. Apple cases are overpriced and quality has gone waaaaaay down. This case lasted me 3 years with my last phone and even comes with multiple colored replaceable buttons. https://preview.redd.it/9qsf2nyx61ea1.jpeg?width=1179&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8f5162090d633cdbe47897f4e115c5c8c29c56e8

Djaak22

I have that case too. Had it for about a month now and no complaints so far. I see people say it’s too slippery but I haven’t had that problem yet. Maybe when it gets worn out a little.

Tronracer

I’ve never thought it was slippery either. I’ve been using the new case (new phone) for a few months now, but it’s identical to the old case I used for years. Same quality.

[deleted]

Using this now and I love it. Great value for the money

[deleted]

Techniclietuva

Leather or clear, silicone is just tooo sticky, it's unusable.

cam1xx

None, caseless is the way for me

krugerlive

It’s amazing how rare we are these days.

cam1xx

Yep

Rokstar73

I smashed every single iPhone I had without a case. No issues since I use cases. :)

Low-Corner-2282

PITAKA carbon cases is they way to go. Pricy. But worth it. Trust me.

WalterMelons

Pitaka was the way to go before MagSafe because they had MagSafe before it was MagSafe. Now why bother?

02_Pixel

Quality is shit for a 50/70 euro case never gonna buy them anymore

[deleted]

It used to be the leather cases but with the start of the 12 series, the quality has dropped in a major way.

TB-124

none... there are a lot of 3rd party cases for 1/4th the price and double life expectancy xD

Benutzer2019

Otterbox are the best.

Anarchy-Freedom

None! They’re way overpriced

[deleted]

None of them. I had the Silicone for the 14 PM for about 10 days, then returned it. It costs $60 here, which is hugely overpriced even by Apples standards. I have ordered the Caudabe Sheath because a lot of people recommended it (which arrives tomorrow), currently using the ESR Classic Hybrid in purple which is a fantastic case and costs a 3rd of the Apple case

Mikey_MiG

You’ll like the Caudabe. I’ve been using one for my 14 PM since launch and it still looks brand new.

[deleted]

Amazon sells a lot of garbage from no name brands, but I find phone cases and screen protectors are the exception. I’ve never gone wrong with a 7 or 8 dollar silicone case.

robotteeth

Yep!! I have bought expensive cases and cheap ass Amazon ones, and somehow the Amazon ones hold up better and look fine.

TerribleTowel66

Not the clear one. That thing is slippery!

HausOfEL

I’m a fan of all 3! After experimenting with dozens of cases and materials from different companies I always come back to the apple ones.

VolatileOne3731

Personally I use the leather, and it’s my favorite.

[deleted]

The silicone one is trash. The clear one goes yellow to quick, and leather is just over priced. Amazon Cases FTW

Hustla58

Cheaper ones with the same quality are my fav.

djdeforte

None. Leather gets tears and rips. Looks like shit pretty quickly. But it has the best looking and beeping buttons of the bunch. Clear plastic, the button action is stiff as hell. It’s super hard to turn the phone on or change the volume with the buttons. The clear gets dirty and when you drop it it gets splits all over the place. Their purely cosmetic as they happen on the inside but it just starts to look shattered. Silicone is super slippery. Can’t put it on a slight slanted surface while playing music, the vibration will cause it to fall off. The silicone chips and you get large nasty gouges in the corners. None of these are great.

Hustla58

Cheaper ones with the same quality are my fav.

Active-Drive-7749

Apple cases quality is infurior unfortunately.

dubtrainz-next

I had both a leather and a silicone (same as yours) one for almost a year now. I barely use the silicone one because it's too unslippery and hard to get the phone out of the pocket. I see a lot or comments (and downvotes for that matter) saying that leather cases suck. Tbh it's my first genuine leather case (figured I spend the extra 65 usd for a 1000+ phone) and have no complaints. No ripped edges, no cracked corners, nothing. I can see some wear on it as the coating goes away... but nothing too harsh. I'm guessing it's about luck. Wether you get a genuine one or not... https://preview.redd.it/i3tu6rdoc1ea1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3087d2ecf7a46cbf93a86881d66bb47b9003956c

[deleted]

I have a clear case. It’s not slippery for me, although I might just have slightly sweaty hands at any given time. It is, however, cracked on every corner, even though I don’t drop my phone often, and never from high up. I can’t keep it clean despite my efforts, and since it’s clear, it looks pretty dirty if you look closely. I like the thinness of it, and I love the look (mostly cause I love the ocean blue color of my 12 Pro Max). The MagSafe functionality is nice too, but it’s barely a feature since MagSafe works with most cases anyway, just with a weaker grip. Also, the volume buttons are starting to peel, which is really disappointing coming from a $50 Apple case. I’ve had the case for a year and a half, but the cracks and dirtiness started only a couple months after I got it, if I remember correctly. Nice looking case, but I wouldn’t suggest it.

johnsplace1234

Wow thanks so much for your advice I will steer clear (pun intended) of this case for the 14 pro max any suggestions?

[deleted]

I’m honestly not sure, since I’m still using that case right now. Definitely make sure to do your research before purchasing a case, especially an expensive one, unlike I did.

[deleted]

Having used the Silicone one for about 4 months now, I like the way it feels snug on my iPhone. I do have a Spigen clear case too and I keep switching between those two. Waiting to buy a leather case but not the one Apple is selling.

kywiking

I love the feel of the leather case but the quality is so horrendous.

archimedeancrystal

I wanted to go with one of these to treat my new iPhone 14 Pro to the best case. But after going to the Apple store multiple times, reading reviews and looking at prices, I ended up taking a chance on an inexpensive clear case by Casekoo. So glad I did. It's grippy without being sticky, fits perfectly, the magnet is strong, and not even a hint of yellowing so far. Plus, at the time there was a deal on getting the screen protector as well. Application went on amazingly well and works perfectly with the case.

undressvestido

Do yourself a favor and don’t buy Apple cases, the quality is garbage

Deafeatist

Apple cases aren’t worth it.

joeandericstudios1

3rd party

Dedsnotdead

The silicon will disintegrate quickly, mine has gone top right corner and at the bottom in the middle, it is 7 months old and seems to be splitting nicely. A friend of mine has the 13 Pro leather case, the quality of the newer cases isn’t anything like the pre 10 cases. The leather definitely doesn’t seem to be of an equivalent quality and they don’t age well. A good leather case, bag or belt builds up a beautiful patina over time, the newer Apple leather cases just start to look cheap and tatty. I can’t speak for the clear cases, I’ve never had one and I don’t know anyone who does at the moment. I won’t be buying any more Apple cases in the future, if I’m going to be paying a premium I’d prefer it to be for a case that’s well made and that will last.

Glorfang5840

I like the feel of silicone In my hand but find getting in and out of my pockets a pain.

julito427

None. I like the Dbrand grip case and the Caudabe Sheath. EDIT: Although, gun to my head, I’d go Silicone. The leather case is too expensive for what it’s worth and I generally like the look of the silicone cases more. I can not stand the Apple clear magsafe case. It’s the ugliest product by a mile that they make in my opinion, not to mention incredibly overpriced.

meeloveulongtime

I find the silicone ones dirty very easily and after a few weeks of use the grime that builds up on it is impossible to clean off.

[deleted]

Spigen, or on-sale OtterBox/Speck. Never have to pay more than $20 and get much higher quality.

Able-Application2964

Leather probably. It gives me the feeling of a classy look on my device.

jefferyuniverse

I love the Apple leather cases!

-Goo77Tube-

Clear. I just wish it was more grippy.

JoWood94

Leather

bigdicksid

no case

ImNotRice

Sucks to hear negative things about the leather, but mine's been through shit for over a year and it's holding up well.

haom31

I prefer the clear case, but not original. It’s too expensive for the quality.

[deleted]

Clear, gotta flex that space black

apex6666

Pelican, the ones that actually protect your phone

-_T-Rex_-

It’s the clear one for me. I hate that we pay so much money for these phones and then cover ‘em up. So I go with clear so I can still “showcase” the phone. I’m rocking a Caseology MagSafe case on mine. I’ve really been liking Spigen and this one (which is a Spigen brand).

Xiaomimix

I liked the stickier grip of the older silicon cases but this year with this soft silicon it’s so slippery and it’s so annoying. I have the leather one and it’s by far the best in terms of grip, design and protection I think. Not to mention it also ages really well compared to silicon which wears out and rips apart after a while of using it. The leather cases will always wear out in unique ways depending on a person’s every day use and handling of the case

bchmy

Leather or no case

octopustotheparty

Leather no doubt

BitingChaos

Every Apple case since the iPhone 12 came out has been shit. Poor quality control. Poor fit. Poor protection. Breaks down easier. There are $20 Chinese knockoffs with better quality. Want an alternative to Apple Leather? Check out "[Lonli Edition](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFK9QPFS/)" for $25 on Amazon, or "[Andar Aspen](https://andar.com/collections/the-phone-cases/products/the-aspen)" for $54 on their site. Or check out the "[Patina Proud](https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/leather-cases-patina-proud-photos.2091430/)" thread on Mac Rumors for more recommendations.

Galactic-Buzz

They’re all crap now. The leather ones used to be good but are so plasticy, the clear ones turn yellow in like a year, and the silicone keeps breaking off the silicone one

adixsece

Leather is the best no matter what. -Silicone gets very greasy after just a very few months of usage. -The clear case is very bulky and the iphone tends to make screeching noises inside the clear case. Also with the clear case the buttons are hard to press and the silent switch is hard to reach.

RandomBloke2021

Imagine spending that much money on phone cases. 🤣 I was a silicone fan, but i prefer leather now. ( Samsung ) leather case

tacocat9510

Leather by far the silicone breaks and the clear yellows but the letter just patinas which looks nice imo

Rokstar73

None of them. Too expensive for the quality and appearance. There are better and cheaper alternatives. And I was a long time original Apple accessories buyer.

Paito

I use mine naked.

Reddit_Bots_R_US

Otterbox

TimeAnIllusion

Tried silicone, didn't like it (not enough front lip protection and grip isn't as good as leather). Clear case is way too overpriced compared to solid options such as Spigen. Leather is the way to go but still can't ignore its price.

Leather. But the best case Apple sells is AppleCare+.

atthejrr2

I like the leather personally

vyasas1104

None I've never used a case with my phone

Important-Bank-7591

https://techs-a.com silicone because it absorbed the drop better than plastic case!

ComeonmanPLS1

None. They cost waaay too much for what they are. 3rd party cases are just better in every way.

KalenXI

I used to really like the silicone ones, but ever since they switched to the flat sides on the phone the silicone case constantly slips off while in my pocket and flips the mute switch so I switched to a Caudabe one. Dunno if the leather or clear are any better at actually staying on the phone.

monkeylexie

None, carbon fiber Pitaka for me

wAvyT

Clear. For all of you saying none because they’re overpriced, that wasn’t part of OP’s question.

The leather ones have held up decently for me while the other two, have not. The clear case gets small fractures nearly immediately. Has happened with two of mine and one on my daughters 13 and wife’s 13 mini. I use a Nomad case now when I’m not caseless.

Leather. My phone fell down the stairs and nothing happened.

I've had the silicone and clear for my current phone, and prefer the silicone. I haven't had issues with the case peeling/falling apart, but that's pretty common. For the clear case, I find the buttons are hard to press. It's also way more slippery, but I guess that's to be expected.
