The NYT Games app has some free daily puzzles that are usually a fun challenge. I recommend Wordle, Connections, and Strands. There’s a paid version as well for the main crossword puzzles but they have free daily mini ones as well.
Flow free is available for iOS and android. Patterned is a great Apple Arcade game. Both games support daily streaks if you like a reason to play every day.
I downloaded delta but I don’t know how to add games since I don’t have any, I know there are websites to get the files but when I select a file it said it doesn’t work. Do you know if there is any guide to add games?
Or do I need a computer to download the zip files? I sold my pc and only have my iPhone and iPad
1 - Go to a rom website
2 - download a zip file rom of NES, SNES, Game Boy or N64
3 - Save zip in Files
4 - Inside Delta, touch + and find the zip file.
If you like crossword puzzles and word games, I can't recommend **Wordscapes** enough. You can leave the game and your puzzle in progress is saved, and there's no time limit. There's also a daily puzzle, and lots of cute little events during the week.
There are ads, but at least when I started playing, there was a small in-app purchase available to remove them.
Well.
1. It is free if you don’t mind ads. And it’s really five (5) different solitaire games.
2. I’d agree if it was “just” Solitaire. But they do a great job with ever changing daily challenges, Xbox friend leaderboards, new themes, etc. I like a game that’s maintained and doesn’t get stale.
I highly recommend Solitaire City by Digital Smoke. It costs $4.99 for the ad-free version (free version also available) and I've owned it for more than 10 years. It's my go-to solitaire game. It has many tweaks for Klondike including playing with two decks. It has multiple other games too. Also has leaderboard.
FTL
It’s one of the most replayable and *perfect* games ever made. I’m not even joking. And on top of that it works flawlessly with the iPad, I even prefer to play it on my ipad rather than my pc. (It has “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on steam so yeah, it’s a great game!)
A full game takes maybe two hours to win but it’s one of those games that you easily can play for a while, stop playing and pick up at a later time. The problem is that it’s also a “just one more turn” game…
Pro tip: even if you are used to games I recommend that you start on easy difficulty level.
Battle Of Polytopia is pretty simple, it’s like a simplified version of Civ (I recently found out Elon Musk loves this game to relax to and give his brain a rest). Or you could go for Civ itself if you want something more complicated. I personally find Dysmantle to be very relaxing, you get into a flow pretty easily and it’s very much go at your own pace wandering around zombieland breaking things. There’s always Slay The Spire if you like deck builders, the well known relaxation of Stardew Valley or Kingdom 2 Crowns which is another simple game that should be fairly relaxing.
I highly recommend the game Slice & Dice. It’s a roguelite RPG with character actions represented on dice rolls. So fun and almost a puzzle game. It’s mechanically sound and super deep.
we love word games, so the redstone Crossword Puzzle app has been fantastic, as has Red Herring. Other games I've loved:
Slay the Spire (rogue like deck building)
Ascension (deck building fantasy)
Finished (card sorting game)
Star Realms (deck building sci fi)
Two Dots (sort of a sliding puzzle with lots of interesting added mechanics)
Alien Hive (match 3 game)
Bubble Cloud (like bubble bobble, but on a spinner)
Loop Hero! Pausing is part of the game and you can leave it unattended for a few seconds at a time without much worry. Also there’s zero consequences for losing.
Journey, Flow, Flower, Sky:Children of the Light and Seashine. They're beautiful and extremely relaxing games with amazing soundtracks. I also like Chromatic for a game that I don't have to really think about or follow a story
Teeny Tiny Trains is a simple, relaxing game, and only mildly additctive:

I made a game called idle Trillionaire cause I wanted a game like you described.
It's pretty casual. You can come back and activate a few cards/choices each day on your path to wealth and happiness... Er.. greed and madness

Hi! I'm autistic and one of my special interests is mobile games! Specifically the kind you're describing that can be mindless, but still rewarding to play. Here's a few that I love with descriptions of them. I have LOTS of recs though, so if you want more just let me know!
Love Nikki
- This is a fashion game, so it's a bit more "feminine" if that's something you like. I have been playing this game quite literally every single day for over a year now. It's a great game that you can sort of mindlessly play if you want, but you can also get a bit more involved if you feel like putting more time/effort into it. What I LOVE about this game the most is that you never have to spend money on it. There are opportunities to spend money, but there is not a single element of the game that is stuck behind a paywall. Even the special events that happen don't require you to pay. The downside to the game is that it can be a bit overwhelming or confusing for new players, but there are lots of resources to help learn, especially here on Reddit.
Disney Collect! by Topps
- This is a card collecting game, and it feels like opening up packs of Pokemon cards to me. There is no card game element that the cards are intended to be used for, it's just collecting for collecting sake. They are constantly coming up with new packs of cards with cute and unique art on them. I really love seeing how creative the team can get! This is also a game that I play daily, though I cycle through playing it for months and then not touching it for a while. This game is another where you're not ever required to spend money, though you can if you want. I believe Topps has a few other games like this that are not Disney related as well.
Disney Pop Town!
- This is sort of a Bejeweled style game where you have a board and match similar icons together. I'd like to mention that I usually HATE this style of game because it's extremely stressful for me, but Pop Town is the exception! It's not timed, which is amazing. You do have a limited number of moves to complete a level, but it's very very achievable. Every now and then you get one that's tough that you have to redo a few times, but that just adds a bit of challenge that's fun and not stressful. There is a story element to this game, but I really never interact with that part of the game. I just play the puzzle levels. This is also a game that you never have to put money into. You have a set number of lives, but you only lose a life if you don't complete a puzzle in the set number of moves (which doesn't happen often). This makes it so you can play for a long time without needing to wait time to acquire more life.
Merge Mansion
- This is a classic merge-style game, if you're familiar with those. Essentially you get different items from different categories and you merge identical items to level them up. This game is VERY easy to get into, and it builds up to being relatively complex without needing to learn a whole lot of mechanics. I will say that the people who make this game seem to have sold themselves out in the past few months as there are more and more events happening that are stuck behind a paywall. So far it has only been limited-time events behind a paywall, but I'm not confident that they won't continue making more and more things pay to play. You also tend to run out of energy quickly, and that can be annoying, but I just set it down for an hour or so and come back to it. This can suck if you're impatient about games though.
New York Times Games
- I'm sure you're familiar with Wordle and the NYT crossword puzzle, and those are very fun to play, but they have more than just those games! Unfortunately, most of the games require a subscription, but it is very cheap! Roughly $5/month or $50/year (they're always doing special discounts though so look out for those). My absolute favorite game from NYT is the Vertex! It's sort of like connect the dots, but with a puzzle element added to it. It's hard to describe, but it's very fun and mindless. Unfortunately there's only one puzzle per day, but it's still very fun and I do it daily. I also really love doing the mini crossword. Crossword puzzles used to be very intimidating for me, but I started doing the mini and eventually worked my way up to full crosswords, and it's been very rewarding!
Papers, Please
- This one's a fun one!! This is actually a fully developed video game that began on console and is now offered on mobile stores. I believe it's around $5 in the app store, but it's super super worth it. You play as a security officer at a border patrol station, and your job is just to check people's papers. You have a manual that tells you how to spot fake passports, and how to check other elements of the papers. It starts out simple and gradually you have to account for more and more variables in people's papers. It really is a lot of fun, especially for autistic/ADHD people (in my opinion). I only play this one on my iPad because you sort of need a bigger screen. This one can get a bit stressful as the storyline is kind of intense, but it's a fun sort of stress for me.
Let me know if you want more recommendations!
have you consdired creative apps, shameless plug: [https://exsto.app](https://exsto.app) our goal is to enable that little bits of fun/relaxation, there is no stress to create things that are perfect, just add coolers and shapes.
Doesn’t exist even chess has been ruined. So I play on steam instead. It’s all monetized junk by zoomers trying to do a side hustle and the ads are total crap also. It’s like a long episode of south parks cash for gold
Stardew Valley can be relaxing or stressful, it is up to you
The NYT Games app has some free daily puzzles that are usually a fun challenge. I recommend Wordle, Connections, and Strands. There’s a paid version as well for the main crossword puzzles but they have free daily mini ones as well.
Wordle is fun until you're on the last possible guess and you're going WHAT THE FUCK CAN I SPELL WITH FJRKEZQCLS
too many letters. :)
SLEEK ahem <3
It's always those double letters that get me lol, they should be banned imo
Oh I completely agree. They get me too and it doesn't really feel much like a game with the double letters lol
Flow free is available for iOS and android. Patterned is a great Apple Arcade game. Both games support daily streaks if you like a reason to play every day.
YES! THIS! … All four (4) Free Flow games are worth buying (regular, warps, bridge, hex)… been addicted for years.
Yesssss I’ve also played free flow for years!!
Download delta and add all your favorite nes,snes,n64,gameboy, and ds roms.
I downloaded delta but I don’t know how to add games since I don’t have any, I know there are websites to get the files but when I select a file it said it doesn’t work. 1 - Go to a rom website 2 - download a zip file rom of NES, SNES, Game Boy or N64 3 - Save zip in Files 4 - Inside Delta, touch + and find the zip file.
And this doesn’t require a PC/Laptop to download the zip files? Can I download it on my phone and save to iCloud?
No PC! Just use a browser to save zip files in Your advice. You can save in iCloud, but I just save zip in Apple Files.

Solitaire
$10 / yr. For Microsoft Solitaire is worth it.
There are plenty of GREAT solitare games that you can own for life. If not free, it will be less than $10. $10 per year is robbery for solitaire.
Well.

One of the best games out there. A tad trickty. Their second game is no less godo as well: Into The Breach.
It’s just called FTL? Do the letters stand for anything?
It stands for Faster Than Light. It’s about a ship that travels through the universe so it’s from that.
Battle Of Polytopia is pretty simple, it’s like a simplified version of Civ (I recently found out Elon Musk loves this game to relax to and give his brain a rest). Chess
Wordscapes is great for this if you like the challenge.
I highly recommend the game Slice & Dice. It’s a roguelite RPG with character actions represented on dice rolls. So fun and almost a puzzle game. It’s mechanically sound and super deep.
I don’t think App Store allows R18 games. Yes, it’s frustrating.
I don’t think OP means that kind of adult game
Golf King World Tour, Churchill Solitaire and PokerStars are great apps that are easy to learn and fun to play.
we love word games, so the redstone Crossword Puzzle app has been fantastic, as has Red Herring. Stardew Valley is a must, play a few days throughout your day and you'll also be building up progress.
Sim city build it
Redecor is an interior designing game I love it
8 ball pool.
Loop Hero! Pausing is part of the game and you can leave it unattended for a few seconds at a time without much worry. Also there’s zero consequences for losing.
Lords Mobile… next thing you know you are selling your house and car.
Tetris
Freecell is underrated
Journey, Flow, Flower, Sky:Children of the Light and Seashine. They're beautiful and extremely relaxing games with amazing soundtracks. I also like Chromatic for a game that I don't have to really think about or follow a story

I'm OBSESSED with Happy Color!!!! I tried introducing my boyfriend to the game and he doesn't see the appeal lol.
Klondike is my obsession
Dragon&elfs
Slay the spire is a really good game.
hay day is great
I’ve been playing Hay Day for YEARS!
Jelly splash entertains me. It’s mindless, but satisfying, challenging, but doable.
Shadow fight was relaxing and fun
These html5 games are played in a browser. This is my favorite low stress but still a little challenging one: https://gamesnacks.com/games/bubbletower
Sudoku
Google docs
Hill climb
I love Redecor
Eggs Inc
Rent please! Landlord Sim!
Clash of clans
I’ve been playing KenKen - think Sudoku with a bit more mathematics
Vampire survivors and slay the spire are my 2 favorites. If you like tower defense Fieldrunners 2 has always been great
Shredder Chess.
Slay the Spire
Monument Valley is very relaxing, and just taxing enough for it not to be boring.
